A bit disappointed in this one, which is really a surprise seeing that I’ve enjoyed pretty much all her other books. The story itself along with the issues that Byron has with McKenzie seems so far fetched. If he truly thought she ruined his brother why not just burn her attempts at starting over? He had the power to make it happen.

So, she closed her company starts a new one. She gets the phone call even if she does take the meeting without all the info she had so much more to bargain with. She could've easily flipped the table on him. They don't even discuss pay which is weird seeing her previous business. But she was made to be so helpless in going along with him when in all she should’ve been the one with all the control anyway. Then her ex pops up with the lamest back story ever he causes a bit of problems but then he’s gone.

The two work together but have this off and on, “he hates me, he hates me not” relationship. She complains about being in control but from the very beginning he has it all. Then the whole weekend you have no choice on spending with him mess was just silly. Now with the ending I’m supposed to wonder what’s really going on with Tyler but just from reading it I’m more likely not going to because it seems just as dumb as this. What woman in her right mind would get a man all worked up, standing strong, then throws that mess out at him. To make it even dumber she goes into the bathroom like after what she’s just told him was not enough to get her in a compromising situation with someone she doesn’t want to have sex with?

The three brothers have closed their hearts to love from childhood until now. One is married and learning how to love with his whole heart and to trust. The women have all been through rough times in their life whether it's due to family problems or to have their hearts broken by men. A must read to learn that the walls can come down and hoe to open your heart to love and to learn how to trust a partner. Melody Anne is a very talented writer and knows how to make you feel a part of their lives. Make sure to read all four books to follow all of their stories.

Wow this book was fantastic. This story is about Mackenzie and Byron. Determined not ever to love Byron always comes accross as cold and unkind. Mackenzie wont let any man take advantage of her no matter how much Byron Knight sets her on fire.

This was my favorite book of the series so far. it was much faster paced and both Byron and Mack were very likable characters and extremely beleivable. the way the relationship blossomed was lovely and seeing the changes these two people made in each other was great to see and heartwarming.

Brilliant read cant wait for book four now

This is Byron and McKenzie's emotional story. When her secretive past threatens to harm her present, will McKenzie trust Byron to help her? And Byron has trust issues and secrets of his own...what does he really want from her? I recommend reading this series in chronological order.

Betrayed by Melody Anne

This is the third in the series about the Knight brothers. I loved Byron and McKenzie’s story. They are two people who have a lot of hurt in their past and it’s hard for them to trust. The chemistry between these two was clearly evident in the story. I loved how we were able to check up on Blake and Jewell and see what they were up to. Also having a sneak peak at the Anderson’s. Another great read!

Melody Anne once again took us on another romantic journey. The characters are beautifully flawed, defensive, suspicious, and undeniably attracted to reach other. The series of four books are so worth the read. Grab a glass of wine, and enough snacks to sustain. Turn off your phone and fall in love.

I liked this book of Melody Anne... the romance between Byron and Mckenzie was beautifully done. However, the reconciling part where both hero and heroine profess their love for each other felt like it was rushed. Which was a little disappointing because I believe Melody could have made it better. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed reading Byron and Mckenzie's story. Looking forward to reading Tyler's story.

OMG what a story Byron and Mackenzie have :) I loved this book on so many levels, I just couldn't stop reading it :) Melody Anne takes you right back to the beginning, of why these two think they shouldn't be together, telling us their back stories,

So can't wait for Tyler's story

Love the chemistry between McKenzie and Byron. Hilarious how they fight there feelings towards each other to protect themselves from exactly the same reason without knowing it. Bill is such a character a great asset to the story his ability to get through the tough exterior of the brothers is uncanny. Nice to see that Blake and Jewel are getting along so well. Nathan was a jerk of epic proportions it would have been nice to see Byron take him down a peg or two. Heads up the epilogue isn't really an epilogue. It is more like the smallest hint possibly to the next book, nothing about how things were going between McKenzie and Byron. They aren't even mentioned.
