Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell - A Cosmere Novella

This short story is overtly darker than most of the Cosmere works. Other novels in this setting have an undertone of darkness but here it is blatant. It does not reveal too many new secrets, however it is still an excellent short story for any Cosmere fan.

Brandon Sanderson once again delivers a brilliant engaging story! This is a complete and totally engaging world with rich characters, all told almost too briefly. I could have enjoyed another 200 pages! Genius work... Again!!!

Awesome. Dark, intense, and gratifying. Opens up a world I want to know more about. Different writing from Sanderson is just as skilled as ever. In some ways richer than several full length fantasy novels out there.

A wonderful story short and sweet. It pulls you in making you wish for more. I have been a long time fan of Brandon Sanderson since reading some of his earlier works. He never disappoints and the same can be said here.

Another great novella by an amazing author! I love the immersive world and engaging storytelling. This book is set in the larger world of Sanderson's Cosmere, but it can be read on its own just fine.
