OMG, really. ... without going into the plot of the book, I will say I'm on chapter 16 and they were supposed to be going back to Scotland and haven't made it past one overnighter....too much garbage about what the main characters think....ugh will not finish it....stupid....too bad cuz the author can write but she definitely needed some guidance with cutting out the repetition of what each character thinks about the other. too boring....

Page: A Sweet Scottish Medieval Romance by Tanya Anne Crosby --- I understand that this book is a "clean" rewrite of McKinnon's Bride. I selected this book because it was on Kindle Unlimited and sounded like something I might like. I loved this book! It was one of those books that you do not want to put down. It was a delightful story with several twists. Page, having finished her bath in the stream (after dark, of course), finds herself pursued by whom she did not know and too far away from the Castle to get the help she desperately needed. The McKinnon & his men come upon her by accident and capture her. And the tale is off to a rousing start and continues to keep the reader in suspense throughout most of the book. There is implied nudity (but not described), there is kidnapping (more than one), there is deceit & danger, complete with a foreboding cliff. There is love & the extra sweetness of a father's love. If you like clean reading, this book might be for you. I plan to buy it and read it again and again.

I disappointed to find that I have already read and paid for this book under the first title. Now I'm paying for a new book cover, just so the Arthur can put her daughter's name in print. Very disappointed.

When Two people , Page and Iain, both raised with a loving family they deserved meet, sparks fly. ‘Tis is a sweet love story, with a bit of adventure thrown in. It is a story of why family and family secrets can influence the direction a persons life. I enjoyed the read very much.

This is truly a sweet and clean romance that will capture your heart and keep you reading. There are parts that are going to make you want to cry as well. Page is one very strong female and holds a lot of resentment inside--but then so does Iain. Iain has a heart of gold--but tries to appear rough and ready--he is the laird--appearances you know. These two have a lot in common but it takes a while for them to figure it all out!

I loved the entire story and the ending made me so happy!!

If you love romances with strong Scottish men and even stronger female counterparts--you will love this novel!!
