Dealing with Bullies & Bossiness and Finding a Better Way

There are good concepts in this book, however, it was designed for a girl in a rather specific set of circumstances. Great concept, I would love to see this made more applicable to a wider range of children. In more varied circumstances. I love the idea though, & there are a lot of useful things in here,but it wasn't quite right for my family. Still, it could prove more useful as they get a little older.

my daughter is nine years old so knowing that she is an avid reader, i knew this would be a good read for her as well as being extra support and dealing with some of the "bossiness" of her peers...she loved the book, read it cover to cover and asked questions as well...

There are so many mean girls now, so young (where are there mothers?). This will help the nice girls who keep taking it, and don't realize that these on-again, off-again "friends" aren't their friends.

A very helpful and straightforward book. It's not just another story of kids coming to terms with each other. It's a practical guide for how to handle many common mean kid situations. It also helped my child gain confidence to do so. I highly recommend it.

Absolute must buy for your girl. My daughter was being bulllied at school and this book definitely helped make a difference in her life. It helped her (and us) develop the tools to deal with bullies of all types.

This book is just so well written with very specific actions and ideas for standing up for oneself. It is practical. So much more practical than telling kids to "just ignore it" . It is also the fourth one that I have bought to give away to little girls at my daughter's school. The library wants one now as does the social worker there. I could not recommend this any higher.

ally helped me, and if you are someone who is getting bullied at school and reading this, read this book. That bully won't bother you anymore. He/she might even be afraid of you! As I was saying, this book will really help you.
