This story about the relationship between the Jackson and the Osgood families set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina was a wonderful, quick moving story. It stresses the importance of friendships and has whispers of mystery, magic and love. Sarah Addison Allen was a great find as an author and I can't wait to read more by her!

I chose a 5 star rating because this book deserves it !!! I started reading it & couldn't hardly put it down to work or even sleep. I loved Everything about it. Really pulled me into it, like I was there. I'll recommend this book to everyone ! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Sarah Addison Allen has produced another bewitching novel filled with lavishly evocative prose and amazing characters. There's mystery, there's unexpected romance and there's a lovely feel to this story that makes it somewhere enjoyable to visit. I loved it!

I enjoyed reading this book, it was a wonderful about friendship, and yes love. Always interesting to read Ms. Allen's books as they have some interesting little "magics" in them which always seem to add something fun to the story.

I love all the Sarah Addison Allen books but after reading the others, they get repetitive. There's always a "scorn" or "shut off" heroine and she is always placed in an ackward, unfamiliar situation and she always falls in love with the last man she expects. I think I love these books so much because of all the weird, quirky magic. They all also have a happy and conclusive ending. The Peachkeeper was probably my least favorite because it was fairly predictable. Still not a bad read though. The language usage is very simple and extremely easy to imagine.

This was a lovely story. It was about friendship and magic and finding love. I liked how the author brought elements of her previous novels into the story. I wont tell more becuase I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I gave 4 stars because I felt her other books were a little better but not by much. Enjoy.

I just love finding happy books with delightful characters - friends I want to hang our with, others I recognize from my own life - blending together in the magical souls exposed way Sarah Addison Allen seems to pen so effortlessly!

The Peach Keeper is another winner from Sarah Addison Allen!

Sarah Addison Allen has an extremely unique way of writing. Her novels are one of a kind in every way, something that is rare these days. Her story telling makes you feel as if you were walking alongside these characters, as if you were a long time resident in her town. I don't doubt that you will begin to care for these characters as much as I do. Addison captures the essence of the south immaculately, just like the bottled fog in The Peach Keeper. I couldn't put this book down, and neither will you. Make sure you set aside time to read before you start this! You will savor every word on the page of this novel.

Sarah always has the right amount of fiction, history, psychology and paranormal in her books. Believable, likeable, very human characters I'm always sorry to say goodbye to when the book end.
Always worth it!

Again, another very wonderful book from Sarah Addison Allen (I read it all the way through on a plane). The characters are well developed and previous characters make cameo appearances. Very enjoyable reading.

You must put yourself in a state of suspended animation and drift into starlight when you read Sarah's books. They are ethereal and have movement and smells and other worldly life. This one is a little reminiscent of the movie "Practical Magic" as the bad man there was buried under a rose bush and the bad man here is buried under a peach tree that magically appeared. It is a story of friendship and love, things lost, lives lived many years ago, ghostly smells and sadness. It is a wonderful story. It won't take you long to read if you lose yourself in the time warp. Great book, even greater read, as are her other books.

Holds less magical moments than all her previous novels. But it was a very pleasant and enjoyable read !! The way the story comes together and teaches you about friendship and second chances is wonderfully done. Full of memorable quotes. Loved Loved Loved the book !!

The Peach Keeper was magical realism like an Apalachian Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Despite a predictable ending, the vignettes were amazing. I find myself greatly wanting to read the story of the villain, Tucker Devlin.

I enjoy how Sarah Addison Allen weaves magic into her stories without creating a fantasy world and this one does not dissapoint. The lead character is sometimes a little typical of romance female leads but not enought o riun the book.

This book, much like that of Sarah Addison Allen's other books, has such a sense of whimsy and fun. It is a delight to read! You feel a bit lighter, sweeter, and a tad bit more mischievous after reading from it. Modern-day mystery and magic! So fun!
