Actually this book is a GREAT ANYtime read! I am SO happy to find this new author with a captivating series based in a small town of the British Cotswold countryside. I was only going to read about an hour and found myself still reading into the wee hours of the morning. The book flows well, and the characters become friends to the reader immediately. I love the woven story from the past to the future with the characters. Beautifully done. I highly recommend this book, and am looking forward to the next.

I so enjoyed this book & look forward to more! The descriptions made me "see" the places & feel I was there- great first effort-- so very pleased with the glory given to God- agree he is the source- will recommend to others looking for a good story that has one gripped while learning too- thank you for no sex ,violence or filthy words- redressing - reminds me of Pilcher- keep up the good work!!

Not sure I have enough words to describe this beautiful story. The main characters are Noelle and Adam. Very good friends during their childhood who are reunited after many years. You know they should be together but there are obstacles.
Then there is the recently departed Aunt Joy and her long gardner handy man, Mac. Settings in the Cotswold. So beautiful.

Traci Borum's first novel is well-written with interesting plot twists and likeable characters that you care about. You almost wish you could sit down with a cup of tea and visit with the local characters as you eat scones. I enjoyed reading her debut novel and look forward to reading book 2 in the series.

I really liked the detailed description of the deceased artists’s philosophy about painting. The story about a love formed over 4 years as adolescents and its later evolution was moving. Mrs McNelia, not MR read this story. I mention this because I Think it appeals more to feminine readers.

+Masterful production; characters well portyayed and stayed true to originsl book. Scenery spectacularly beautiful. Casting perfect. Who wouldn't
fall for the very charming Jamie, even Claire eventually.. Serious historical factors well depicted along with the love story. Excellent.

The story was completely absorbing, the characters real, their emotions believable. The ending was satisfying and joyful. It's not the VERY best book I ever read by any means, so I wish I could give it 4.5 stars.

I enjoyed this novel. The characters were pleasant in the main, no lurid see was involved. The the on again, but not really--off again relationship was tiresome at tines, it was still a delightful fantasy.
