I simply find it amazing that such a poor book (booklet) would get such a number of higher star rating! Friends or fans of the author? Or simply that many ignorant people?

Not only is there nothing new here, but much of it has been disproved or shown to have minimal improvement value! And how about addressing the fact that people shouldn't assume a higher BP level or that they will get high BP one day? Many people have low BP in general (like my adult niece) or due to changes later in life develop low BP and following such a protocol out of ASSUMPTION could lead to life threatening results.

And I was shocked at the number of people who threw out 5-star ratings like candy and who did not have high BP problems and rated simply based on that the book has "stunning information" or was "well written" or "provided options that MAY help my blood pressure problems", etcetera, etcetera! (I don't know what book they were reading as I saw none of that!).

A main question should be: "Do you (or someone you know closely) have high BP?"

If so, "What were the particulars and what kind of improvement did you / they specifically have from these protocols?"

Significant improvements?

I had NO improvement!!!

In fact, in using a natural alternatives author recommended essential oil protocol (home-mixed blend), my borderline high BP went from the 135-140 / 85-90 (pulse 85-90) range to range of 150-160 / 90-100 (pulse 95-100)... as the essential oil blend apparently included at least one EOs was one of the ones clinically proven to ELEVATE blood pressure levels. Fortunately I was only using it for 10 weeks... and after a washout period am going to be using an essential oil blend (also home-mix) of ingredients clinically proven to lower BP.

Puhleeeze, people.

5-star reviews like these? Come on!

(BTW, this should read Paperback version as was read via library loan)

Great Information. My only "complaint" is that there was no mention of the potential problems with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). For example, Canola Oil, made from Rapeseed, is 96% GMO. Same with soybeans and soybean oil (94%). Whether you believe this is a problem or not, at least we should be warned....
Regards,
John

I clicked on this sensationalized video and the guy, a retired railroad engineer was touting how his body went from 200/100 to 115/75 in one week and he threw away all of his bop meds. He was a shill for the doc and was pushing a one time offer with this book plus numerous other "reports (blah blah blah) and it was ONLY $97, but since they were so concerned about people's health they'd cut that in half so it was less than $50. He promised a big surprise at the end of the video, but it was 15 minutes long. Instead, I spent the next 15 minutes researching the book and found a copy here for $9.97. Was I surprised? Not.
This is the kind of advertising that gives truly valuable ads a bad name. I have not and do not intend to buy this book at any price. I could probably find a copy at our local Goodwill store.
If I had advice to give it would be to research these scam artists as I did to see if there's any "merit" (no pun intended to the author) before giving anyone my credit card info. I've been burned a few times and had a few successes (which were not my fault, it was just actually good stuff I'd stumbled upon).
When something sounds too good to be true, it generally is. As in this case. It's not even 10am yet and I've already saved $50 today! Looks like a good start.

I downloaded this with hopes of finding some herbal or medicinal suggestions. The title is misleading. There is a substantial percentage of the hypertensive population who have a strong family history for whom this condition will be a problem regardless of life style changes. It's in the genes so to speak. Diet, exercise and avoiding stress are all important, but genetics are genetics.

Nothing New to be found here. I was hoping to find new foods or recipes that would naturally help lower blood pressure, but didn't find that. I agree with others who said this short book is more like a collection of pamphlets. Fortunately you can read it on your Kindle under the "read and return" program for free.

If one knew absolutely nothing about blood pressure this book might be of some benefit. Other than that limited group, it is difficult to see the benefit of this book related to cost (and it is cheap). Most of the information is readily available in one form or another in many other places. In fact, the author's contribution may be that potential approaches to the management of blood pressure is summarized in one brief narrative. Another issue is that it provides very little detailed information.

People, please read "Your Body's Many Cries For Water" by Batmanghelidj, M.D., and drink up! You would need to keep it on your nightstand next to your BED as a constant reminder to Drink Up. In addition, change what you EAT it won't hurt but help you many ways. Juice your veggies using a slow masticating juicer, get it here on the store or some other platform. Rember Drink Up!

There are 2 types of medication that had a big impact in human survival: Antibiotics and Blood Pressure lowering medications. Having high blood pressure can be life threatening. However, we should always try to do our best to stay away from medicine whenever possible. Taking the medicine, and trying natural remedies at the same time to be able to lower the dose bit by bit is the way to go! Great book!

Natural remedies can really cure many disorders in us, if we follow it religiously. I grabbed this book on how to cure Blood pressure naturally. I must say that it’s a very well written book and also must appreciate the author’s efforts in getting some great information about blood pressure and its consequences. I always used to think that only medication would treat BP, but that’s totally wrong! We can do exercise, follow a proper diet, quit smoking etc. and get our blood pressure under control.

This book has detailed information about what is blood pressure and its risk factors. Many diet recipes have been included and also information on which vitamins and supplements have to be taken to lower hypertension etc. Also, the author has brought in the right information about how to use BP monitor at home. I also got some insights on the food that should be consumed and avoided and also about herbal supplements.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book as we can reduce our blood pressure by doing simple things at home naturally. Many of us would never know that certain food should be avoided when our BP is high; this book gave such insights and gave solutions to our problems. I really liked the way the author has penned in all the diet recipes-28 recipes which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The recipes are very clear and simple to make. I’m sure if we follow it, our BP would definitely be normal.

Also, the author has mentioned about change in cooking oil which will have a great impact on our lifestyle. I never knew that switching oils can make so much of a difference to our health. I will definitely try this out. The author has also suggested lot of techniques for stress relief. I found the book very informative and the information in the book is very detailed. Highly recommended book for those suffering from hypertension and also those who want to support their friends and family who have this condition.
