I have to say, The Red Ledger just might be my favorite Meredith Wild series yet. And we only have the first book.

Wild has packed a little of everything in to the first of this promising new series, trills, mystery, suspense, and a hint of romance. A romance that actually sets the stage for the series. Not much is known about Tristan, by us or for himself, for that matter. He's very Jason Bourne-esque with a Wild twist. To Isabel, he is the one that got away. The one that would forever hold her heart. And the one that can take her life if only he didn't need her so much.

We only begin to scratch the surface of what is sure to be an action packed ride for these two. It's a fairly quick read, but one that you must pay attention to every detail. There's a lot of story in there. It's a definite must read for those who like their suspense with a little spice.

I was given this book in exchange for my honest review. In true Meredith Wild style she grabbed you from the very beginning and didn't let go even at the last page! Tristan is a hired hit man with no memory beyond a few years ago. Isabel was his young love. He joined the military and disappeared forever she thought. What are the chances he would be hired to kill her. Tristan is prepared to do just that when she calls out his name. Isabel holds the key to Tristan's memories now he has to decide if he wants them back.

You better be prepared to sit down and read this from beginning to end as it is too hard to stop. I always love Meredith's books but I think this might be my new favorite if I could choose. Love, romance, tragedy and suspense all wrapped up in one neat package. The wait for book 2 is going to kill me. I highly recommend this book!

Oh my goodness! This is such a fantastic series by Meredith Wild. I didn't think it was possible for her to top her other series, but she has truly outdone herself! The Red Ledger is full of action, suspense, and it is hot, Hot, HOT! I kept telling myself, "One more chapter." And when I finished that one I would say, "One more chapter." Yep, I ended up reading the book in one sitting. I had to find out what was going to happen next, but at the same time, I didn't want it to end! I seriously cannot wait to read more of this freakin' incredible new series!

Suspense, mystery, spell binding & sexy as hell. What a great start to a kick off of a new series Meredith Wild. Isabel Foster trying to find her place in life in Rio as a English teacher. Her one & only true love goes into the service out of high school & she never hear's from him again. Tristan Stone is trying to remember his past & can not. Bad injuries from service related mission gone bad. He is a gun for hire now. Isabel see's her Tristan in Rio & can not believe her eyes. Thier meeting each other after all these years is not what you expect. Tristan has no past memory he can recall. But it only gets more exciting from there. From the 1st page to the last. Spellbinding! Could not put down. If this is what the whole series is like WOW! Happy excited readers!! On to the next book.

I have been a Meredith Wild fan since I read the Hacker series.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t help but root that Isabel and Tristan find their happily ever after.

Isabel is so hard and almost callous about love at the beginning of the book. As the book continues you understand why, and I couldn’t help but feel for Isabel.

Reading about Tristan I can’t wait to find out what happened to him. Watching him interact with Isabel is amazing.

I can’t wait for book 2!!

First impression after reading....I have sooo many more questions waiting to be answered.

This is definitely a page turner, waiting to see what will happen next. Beware though this ends in a cliffhanger and the story continuing into part 2. It looks as though there a six installments taking us into November. I am not sure if Isabel and Tristan are part of all six books.

I became invested in these characters and how they were torn apart and how they come to find each other again. Of course, they have their issues...the biggest one is Tristan not remembering Isabel and his contract to kill her... They are drawn together and Tristan cannot kill her when she might have the answers to his missing memories. It is a thrill ride with lots of action in suspense.

Meredith Wild was a new author for me so I was going in blind here.
And for such a short read "The Red Ledger" was surprisingly packed full of twists and turns from start to finish.
there was never a dull moment here and the initial blurb for this didn't disappoint; so many are less than what is described and built up.
So this delivered on its promise and definitely left me wanting much more, and with so many questions left unanswered, I am really looking forward to devouring the next piece.
Still, Have no clue why Isobel Foster has been targeted by persons unknown; discluding the obvious of course of her father's job.
And also still a trifle bemused how Isobel's lost love Tristan ended up with the contract for her ultimate demise.
And this shadowy organisation Tristan is now contracted to; that has now placed a bounty on both there heads.
Who is Jay? And what does she hope to achieve here?
Because I'm sure there more to her agenda than she is actually disclosing.
I'm hoping all these questions and more will finally get answered in the next instalment; can't wait.
This was such a fascinating read and the only thing that pulled it down slightly for me was I wasn't entirely convinced at how swiftly Tristan went from cold to caring in regards to Isobel.
Despite that slight nitpick this is one that I highly recommend.

This seems to be one book in multiple short parts simply to gouge the reader into overpaying for the parts. The same ruse King used for The initial installments of the Green Mile. Did not fall for that either. Waited for 5he complete book. Will do the same here or not buy at all.

And we’re off! This is part one of a new six -part serial from Meredith Wild and what an exciting start it is! I was instantly intrigued by the premise of this story, ex-soldier left with no memory of his past after a mission gone wrong who is now basically a hitman, paid to covertly take out unfortunate souls. However, his latest mark turns out to be the one woman who could possibly be the link to help him recover his missing memories. But disobeying orders puts both of them in danger. I’m really digging the format of this series too – quick, fast-paced nuggets of goodness that are easy to devour and leave you anxiously awaiting the next installment. This story has the sexiness that you’d expect from a Meredith Wild book but it also has plenty of intrigue, suspense, and heart-pumping action. Danger is lurking at every turn and there are many questions left to uncover as Tristan struggles with trying to keep Isabel safe, doing his job, and piecing together his missing past. Believe me, this series is only getting started and I’m very much looking forward to the ride that Meredith Wild is about to take us on!

So basically this is a $17 dollar book that you pay $3 a chapter for. Really?? I love Meredith Wild but she's not good enough for those prices. Pay attention when you buy. I didn't. Even if this book was stellar I wouldn't pay those prices.

Hold onto your seats folks because I have a feeling that we're in for one heck of a ride with Tristan and Isabel. SOOOOO GOOOOD. The Red Ledger part 1 is packed full of action, romance and mystery. Seriously love this. Isabel is running from memories and never imagined that the one thing she is running from will pop back into her life. Tristan may be a hired killer but there is so much more about him. He is a huge mystery and I can't wait to see how this series unfolds. Ugh I want to know more about Isabel too. You get just enough with this one to keep you wanting for so much more. The chemistry between Isabel and Tristan is just wow. A must read. So can't wait to see where Meredith Wild leads us with this one.

Wow! Stop what you are doing right now and go get yourself a copy of this book but when you do you need to clear your calendar because once you start reading it you won't want to put it down! I read this book it one sitting and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! This has the feel of the Bourne series but with a romantic twist of high school loves separated by horrible circumstances then brought back together only to have to fight for not only their love but their lives too! This will keep you guessing till the very last page and leaves you with a cliff hanger that will leave you begging for the next book to come out sooner!

Meredith Wild took the plunge into the world of suspense and did not disappoint.

I was so excited to get to read an arc of this and was hooked from the first word. Simply amazing writing, she has a way of making it seem like you are right there with Isabel and Tristan as they run for there lives.

I loved that Isabel never forgot Tristan no matter how hard she tried. Though Tristan has no memory of his past he still felt he knew Isabel. I can't wait to see what happens in the next books the suspense is killing me! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because that's what this book deserves!!!

Well, I’m not sure what to say but WOW! The beginning of this book started with a bang (well, almost) and the pace kept on going. So many questions for both Tristan and Isabel with many twists and turns ahead of them, I’m sure. Sometimes, I just want to read the whole story all at once but there is something to be said for having to wait on pins and needles for the next installment. It’s kind of like Christmas morning with the anticipation of presents. I’m anxiously waiting for the next installment to see what questions regarding Tristan’s past comes to light and where Tristan and Isabel’s relationship land.

I absolutely love Meredith Wild since her Hacker series and I honestly could not get enough of the first book in the Red Ledger series. I thought Tristan and Isabel were sexy, mysterious and their attraction and connection was palpable!!

Isabel Foster is an incomplete woman, not fully whole since she lost the love of her life years ago. Now she is in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil trying to heal from a loss she still feels years later. But when her former lover, Tristan Stone, reappears she realizes the man she knew is no longer the assassin in front of her. With the enemy on their trail, will Isabel be able to help unlock Tristan's forgotten memories before it's too late? 

GAHH!! I was hooked on this from the getgo. I absolutely loved the story and seriously felt like I was watching The Bourne Identity right before my eyes. It was fantastic, sexy, mysterious and so addicting. Bring on book two because I am locked and loaded for more!! Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

The Red Ledger by Meredith Wild is suspenseful, it is truly a phenomenal book.
Tristan aka Red and Isabel have to face so many odds when they are thrown back into each other lives. Isabel can not move on from her broken heart and Tristan can not remember his past. When they are thrown together unexpectedly things start getting heated up, Will these two be able to help each other out conquer their past and move forward?
The Red Ledger is action-packed and addictive. Nothing can compare to Meredith and her books. It was a page turner from the beginning to the end, I can not wait to read part 2 and 3.

Honestly I haven’t read a book by Meredith I haven’t like, but The Red Ledger is superb! It has far exceeded my expectations. Meredith has gone above and beyond on this one and I’m anxiously waiting on part 2. I am enamored with Tristan and I became wrapped in trying to figure out his story. I want to know more, that’s not entirely accurate, I NEED to solve this mystery. What really happened to Tristan? Who wants Isabel dead and why? So many questions and just a warning, once you start you will have to finish and it will leave you wanting more. Thanks Meredith for another late night of reading.

WOW! What a ride. Meredith takes you to the top of the roller coaster and then leaves you teetering on the ledge for more.

Isobel lost her true love years, ago. She has no idea if he is even alive. Then she sees him. Tristan joined the military after high school. Somehow he's lost all his memories before three years ago. All he knows is he's a contract assassin and his new assignment is Isobel Foster, a daughter of a politician.

I really enjoyed this story and the scenario -- lost love, found love, and all the fast moving action you've come to expect of a covert operation mystery. But, it was way to short, just really got into it and then . . . Cliff Hanger. It seemed like a short story or long prequel. I started reading and before I knew it, I was finished, only a few hours into reading. I hope the other volumes are more full book length. I prefer 1-3 full length books than 6 serial short stories.

This is the first book in Meredith Wild’s newest series and it is looking like it is going to be up there with some of her other series that I have loved. The biggest difference so far is the length of this book. It is a small one but packs quite the big punch.

From the first page is it is nonstop action, mystery and long lost love. It will suck you in and leave you wanting more right away!

Both of these character bring so much to the story, it is hard not to feel for them. They do not have much of a love story right now but they are trying to find it again. But when Death, mayhem and lost history stands in their way, does it really matter? Will love ever be enough?

This book leaves off with the craziest of cliffhangers but do not worry part 2 is coming soon so strap in and get ready!

Ever since the Hackers series I've been hooked on Meredith Wild writing. And with Red Ledger she brings that same suspense, romance, and heat we crave.
They say it only takes a moment to save a life. Well in the story of Tristan 'Red' Stone and Isabel all it takes is one word. "Tristan." His name. How does she know it? Who is she? And how can he do his job? No memory of who he is and she holds the key. Every touch brings us answers flashes.
The heat, fear, action, and emotions of this book brings you to the edge of your seat wanting more......and this is only part 1. I can't wait to see what more suspense, memories, and heat these two brings. Thank you Meredith for bring us on this thrilling ride can't wait to experience more Tristan and Isabel.

Holy cow! I'm going to Hades for this, but I am so in love with Tristan Red!

Maybe it's because he's so damaged, a man in need of saving, either way, I'm freaking hooked!

This was not the kind of book I expected from this author, but OH MY GOD, was it incredible. From the very first sentence, it sucks you in and doesn't let you escape until you've read the entire thing! Ms. Wild has a way of taking you on the kind of journey that you need time to recover from.

First we meet Isabel, a damaged and broken woman who has only ever loved on man in her life. Tristan. He left her in such a way that made it so she was completely incapable of getting over him. She had left her home, fleeing to Rio to escape his memory, but she ended up getting way more than she bargained for.

Tristan Red. All of his memories are gone apart from the last three years while he served as an assassin for hire. He's cold, calm, calculating and does what he needs to in order to survive. He kills without remorse and he doesn't ask questions. Until he meets his next target. Somehow, someway, she knows him and he can't bring himself to do what needs to be done.

This book is an INSANE ride. So many twists and turns it will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first page to the last and leave you craving for more!

Out of all the Meredith Wild books I have read, hands down, this is my favorite one yet and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next installment!

What a brilliant start to a new series by Meredith Wild.

The Red Ledger part 1 starts off like a rocket and doesn’t stop until the last page is turned! It’s a quick and fast paced read with suspense, passionate characters and a history between two people who were each other’s first love.

This book has a storyline that is unique to me, which I found to be refreshing, surprising and long overdue.

The story of Tristan and Isabel definitely has the love element but with so much more. The obstacles thrown their way are not ones that are easily overcome and this author is going to make you work for every bit of bliss you get in this book.

Isabel is devastated when the love of her life leaves in heroic fashion, only never to return.

Tristan doesn’t remember. His past is a blur and the woman he once loved is not even a memory.

But what happens when a sinister plan puts Isabel and Tristan back on each other’s path? Where a lover is now a stranger and a once protector is now a ghost prepared to deliver damage.

This book is well written, the layers to it are absolutely addictive and after that cliffhanger......my greedy hands are ready for more!

I am beyond excited to see what happens next in the world of Tristan and Isabel.

I would highly recommend this book and any other book by this author.

You will not be disappointed.

Well I was holding off reading this until all of the books were released, as I read lots of books and sometimes the time between Series is a wait. But I heard so much about this one, and it is a fast read because it is just over 100 pages, that I picked it up to see if I could find out what everyone was talking about!!

Yep, they are right. This is one fast, exciting read that you won't put down. Isabel is a teacher in Rio. She had moved away from the Washington life. She has a boyfriend there, who is in love with her, but Isabel isn't in love with him. Tristan is the one she has always loved and he is in her room watching her sleep, he is there to kill her! When Isabel whispers his name "Tristan", he can't kill her. But, he doesn't remember her or know why the women he is there to kill might know him.

The thing I did love about this book is the way the author wrote..Okay, I am not into the Adult Content, that is in it, but you get by that because of their love for one another. I don't want to give away to much, other then when Isabel is out to lunch the next day, she thinks she see Tristan and runs after him. But, why, has he stayed away from her for six years when they were in love and were going to be together? Does Tristan just want the memories that Isabel has of him, or will he do what he was sent to do, Kill Her??

Pick this one up and have the next one ready to read! I believe there will be 6 in the whole series, spaced out over the year.

Red Ledger has to be one of the most highly anticipated and sought out series! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this beauty, especially after seeing reviews and little tidbits of teasers here and there.

"Bourne who?" ~ Misty, White Hot Reads

What a fun, fast paced story! This is only the beginning and I didn't want to stop reading once I started this one. I love stories that have so many moving parts and I only hope the author can keep the pace up in this one.

I'm don't know where this story is headed because when the government and secret agencies are involved anything can happen. I'm not even sure I will be one to speculate and just let this one ride out like the author wants it too. Sometimes that is the best way to go with these books. I'm sure there are so many twists and turns coming and I can't wait. This will be a fun summer with this series.

Without a doubt, there is a lot of story packed into these pages. The story is interesting - improbable, yes, but interesting and full of suspense. There are a lot of twists and Isabel and Tristan share a past that only one of them can remember. If you're familiar with this author, then you know to expect steamy fun, so that was no surprise here. However, I did have a hard time buying that this pair had as much time for it as they did. Tristan shows little emotion, but I found it hard to believe that Isobel would be so wrapped up in finding him again that she would disregard the fact that they are running for their lives. Granted, the circumstances surrounding this one are all a bit over the top and a little Bourne Identity-ish, so I suppose it just depends on how much suspension of disbelief each reader is willing to exercise. That aside, I did enjoy the fast-pace and will probably check out the next book to see where it goes. It is the beginning of a serial, so expect a cliffhanger ending because things are certainly not tied up in a neat little bow on the last page.

Short and sweet with an ending that will make you question whether you should throw your kindle across the room because you know you'll have to wait until the next instalment to find out what'll happen to Tristan and Isabel. And the biggest question of it all is: will he get his memory back by spending as much time as possible with Isabel?

I do have my doubts, but at the same time, i've heard of weirder things. So maybe sights, smells or even sounds will jog his memory so he'll remember just what she meant to him. Here's the other kicker - this man is a trained for hire assassin and someone wants Isabel gone for good, and for some reason, Tristan didn't go through with it.

So here's my question: where will readers be taken if Tristan is so damn cautious? Will he really sit back and let the memories arrive one after the other or will he get hit with all of them at once or is it a lost cause? I really have no idea and will have to keep reading this series to find out for certain.

This book grabs you by the throat from the very beginning and doesn't let you go. I was pulled right into the world of this book and felt the danger and suspense like I was being followed. Meredith Wild has written some of my favorite stories, I am a huge fan. This, however, is my new favorite. Romantic suspense can be hard to get right, too much romance, not enough nail-biting drama or there is so much action there is no time for the sexy bits. Ms. Wild nailed it, a perfect blend of both; I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series. Never before have I rooted for a hit man and a potential victim.....first time for everything!! I give this book five enthusiastic stars!!

Tristan Red has only one goal in Brazil- kill Isabel Foster and move on to the next target on his hit list. And he's in her apartment, trigger cocked and ready. But when he overhears Isabel relieving herself, Tristan's riveted to where he stands, enchanted by her. Part 1 of The Red Ledger is the start of an amazing new series from the author. I had a hard time putting this down because the story just kept drawing me in. The descriptions of the characters emotions, the setting of the scenes, the secondary characters that play (or will play) important roles, are all nicely laid out. I expect to get all the feels with this series. I have an idea of where this might be going, but definitely feel that there will be some unexpected scenarios that will occur. Former lovers brought together under the worst circumstances; one remembers what they had, while the other is clueless to their past. Tristan reminds me a lot of Jason Bourne and Isabel is your typical heart broken female lead yearning for the man she lost (except she doesn’t come off as the “woe is me” type. This does end with a cliffhanger, but the second book is already out, so I can easily jump into it.

I'm usually not into books that keep you in full suspense from life or death situations, but something about this synopsis made me have to give it a shot. man am I glad I did! I sat outside to read a little bit of it and ended up finishing it in one sitting.
The book leaves off in a cliffhanger but thank goodness the next book isn't far behind. I will be sitting here impatiently waiting to find out more about Tristan and Isabel.
Meredith has mastered the balance of romance, suspense, and just all around emotional turmoil! I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!!

Omg! More please! I found myself holding my breath until the very last words in the book...literally! Meredith has this remarkable way of pulling you in and keeping your attention.

About all I can say is WOW! The author had me on the edge of my seat through pretty much this whole story. There were parts that about broke my heart. Both of these characters want something from the other, searching for answers only the other has. We will have to keep reading to find out more. *I was gifted a copy for my honest opinion.*

Meredith Wild really knows how to leave her readers in suspense! I love her and hate her at the same time for making me wait for a part 2. This book is fantastic for both Meredith Wild fans and new readers!

I had the opportunity to read The Red Ledger #1 early by receiving an ARC. It was amazing! The chemistry between the main characters, Tristan and Isabel, is undeniable and I crave to learn more about them both!

The mystery and twists and turns of the story kept me intrigued and unable to put the book down! The layers of the characters are deep, as usual with Meredith Wild, which makes you invested in them and what happens to them.

I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to read the rest of the series!!

I don't normally read suspense but this book took over my life and had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I absolutely love Tristan and Isobel and cannot wait until I can get my greedy little hands on part 2! If you love romance, sex and suspense ....don't miss this one!!

Not usually my thing but this autobiography of a WWII Italian hero was entertaining, moving, and surprisingly one of my best reads in years! The story of Pino Lella is so inspiring, I couldn’t put it down. Mark Sullivan brings this genuine war hero to life in his autobiographical novel, complete with triumph, personal failure, love, betrayal, and living with the hard choices of one’s life. I was moved to tears multiple times while reading Pino’s story of heroism and love. Highly recommended, Beneath a Scarlet Sky, by Mark Sullivan.

What an incredible start with a new author! Full of suspense, intrigue, and lust. Reminded me of the movie Jason Bourn… but like always, there is no comparing a book to movies. I can’t wait to read the rest of this fantastic series. Yes, it is a 6 books series, but don’t worry, these are short books and the author won’t make us wait to long between them ?

Meredith Wild has weaved a captivating, intense, and action-packed story of tragedy, loss, heartache, suspense, danger, twists and turns, mystery, intrigue, and hot scenes. The author pulls you into the story and doesn't let you go until the very end.

This book keep me on the edge of my seat waiting for Tristan and Isabel to get together. The action and suspense kept me reading. I could not put the book down.
Tristan is hired to kill Isabel, when she calls his name, and he changes his mind. He decides to kidnap her to keep her safe from others who he knows will come after her. Having lost his memory from a military mission gone wrong and he feels she has the key to get his memories back.
I am looking forward to reading The rest of the series. Meredith Wild has done it again. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into your books.

The hype and consistent rave reviews for this book (and series) had me so pumped to read it that I put off all of my pending reviews to dive into this one. I have never been so disappointed in a book in my life.

Based on the description and reviews I've read, I was expecting a fast-paced espionage type thriller. Instead, I got an eye-rolling Bourne Identity wannabe meets Harlequin romance (no offense to Harlequin intended).

Isabel is a troubled woman that has escaped her life in DC and fled to Brazil in an atttempt to forget the memories of the man she once loved, Tristan. Tristan, the typical romance novel tortured alpha male, is a soldier that has lost his memory and is now a hired assassin living in Brazil. What an incredible coincidence! And guess who his next target is? Go ahead, I'll wait. Seriously, what are the chances?

What follows is a cat and mouse chase from the bad guys that want Isabel dead, including four descriptive sex scenes. FOUR in a 116 page novella, because obviously running for your life always makes a person horny. Who knew?

Honestly I feel like I must have read a different book than the other reviewers. Perhaps NetGalley messed up and had me download the wrong one. Needless to say, I am not compelled to continue this series.

Should be a zero star. Anyone with very little imagination could have written this book. I'm ashamed to say I even finished it. Action? Very little. Sex? Full of it it is to the point of pornographic. Every other page was deceptive about sexual feelings, actions, pure lust.

I received red ledger 1 for an arc review. Meridith has a great way with her words. She’s very descriptive and lays it all out. Tristan and Isabel, what can I say. Love lost and soon to be rekindled? I hope. His memory is gone and she’s the link to his past. He has a dangerous job which reunited him and Isabel. He can’t do what he was set out to do. Now he’s doing the complete opposite. How long will it last? I’m excited to read the next part of the series. I’m not to great at my words, but I tried. The only thing I wish was different would be that it wasn’t broke up into so many different parts.

Tristan is a hired killer, Isabel is an English teacher. How these two know each other will be one big twist. Part 1 had me on the edge of my seat sometimes. With all the twists and turns you never know what's going to come next. Definitely diving into part 2 immediately!

The Red Ledger is by far one of the best books I have read by Meredith Wild. From the beginning it has you hooked with twist and turns and steaminess! The only thing I didn't like is I have to wait for the rest of the story. I totally recommend this book and series!

Another winner by Meredith Wild! If you have read her other series you will be instantly hooked on this one within the first chapter. Excellent suspense and love story between two main characters Tristan and Isabelle. Can’t wait to dive in to the other books! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

The Ledger is a fast-paced read full of action and suspense. I enjoyed the characters. I would have liked to have seen Tristan hold back a bit longer from Isabel since he is supposed to be a killer without a memory. Still a very enjoyable book to read.

This book is really well written. Grabs you from the beginning. My only complaint is it was too short and left me wanting more. Can't wait to read rest of series. For those that don't know this book is in parts like stephen king did the green mile. I'm a little late to the game so there are several parts already out for me to catch up with. Love it can't wait to read more.

This book is not my usual genre of romance novel as it is a little more action and adventure based, but I figured I would give it a try as I have liked Meredith Wild’s other books. The story for sure draws you in. I will be reading the other volumes in this series because I am so intrigued by the story. Winner!

I only did 4 stars since its a cliffhanger and that it's in 6 installments. I loved the book! Tristan and Isabel are great. It sucked me in and I couldn't put it down until I was done. I can't wait for the rest of the books to be released.

If you are looking for mystery and adventure and passion, then the Red Ledger 1 has it all. Meredith Wild sucks you in right away and once you start you can't stop flipping through this book. Tristan and Isabel take you on a wild ride as you watch their story unfold while learning the screts to Tristan's past. This is a must read.

All I can say is WOW. I haven't read a book like this in so long. The characters that Meredith Wild has brought to life are just so very real and relatable. I can not wait for the rest of this series.

This was hyped as something great. I tried but found this tiresome and a poor ploy at selling sex. Using the "f-word" and sex scenes does not a novel make. Really disappointed and will not be reading any other in this series.

I was hooked from the very first page! Tristan is unlike any character I've ever read and Isabel is so intriguing. The suspense keeps you wanting more and dying to learn everything about Tristan. I'm still on the fence about Mateus that it keeps wondering what his story is too. This is a must read!!

There are people who would absolutely love this book, particularly those who want the tortured (more like abusive) hero.
Tristan and Isabel, our protagonists (both 24 yo) fell in love while in high school, rather, Isabel fell in love, while Tristan was just happy to be getting laid. So, of course, he calls off their relationship upon graduation and thereafter enrols in the Army.
Fast forward six yrs and Isabel is on the run, hiding somewhere in Rio, and Tristan, now an assassin, is hired to kill her.

Pause here. Think about it. Think about the probability of Tristan being the one chosen (in the multitude of God knows how many) to kill Isabel. I mean, come on.

Meanwhile, Isabel still has strong feelings for the boy who got away, which basically has her perpetually heartbroken, unwilling to even contemplate falling in love with someone else. The thing is, Tristan lost his memory -due to a head trauma- and he's shocked when Isabel calls his name.
Sensing a deeper story, he more or less kidnaps her because, you know, reasons. What ensues is nothing short of comical, except, I think the intent was not to amuse. To think there are 5 more serials. *chuckles*

Meredith has outdone herself! If you liked the Hacker and Bridge series - than you'll love this. It's the first story of Tristan and Isabelle, the drama, suspense and electric heat between them. An absolute page turner that you don't want to end. Now to read the 2nd book.

This is a very good, heart pounding novel. I held my breathe from start to finish. I was grabbed by the story immediately and could hardly put it down. Tristan and Isabel are very interesting and the beginning of their story has me hooked. I will be biting my nails until I can get part 2!!!

A Big Fat NO! To compare yourself in your FB ads to James Patterson, Dan Brown and Gillian Flynn, seriously? This should be advertised as smut with a little suspense at best! I feel so ripped off. This isn't even a novel. It's a very short novella that ends with a cliffhanger to force the reader to buy the remaining series as they come out. Come on! You may get away with this in Romance but not in Thriller or Crime. So misleading! I'm done with Meredith!

Usually when I get a book that has a series it has some romance and some mystery in it well when I finish this book nothing was solved at all and the Romance was like he was always mad But you never found out why

Oh my gosh, Part 1 of The Red Ledger is so brilliant! If this sets the pace and tone of the whole series, there are going to be a ton of happy readers. Although part 1 ends in a cliffhanger, the good news is part 2 comes out on the 29th of May,

Isabel Foster is a young woman trying to find her way in life after her first and only love went into the military and left her behind and never returned. She never heard anything from or about him after this. Although Tristan and Isabel were just getting ready to get out of high school, They were in love and Isabel loved him more than anything else; and she fought to keep their relationship going, he was her everything and now she feels broken.

Tristan Stone lives his life as a shadow, killing people for a living, and no one knows whatever happened to him. After getting wounded in battle he was operated on and in a coma for a while, and woke up not remembering the last 3 years of his life. He was given a new identity and everything he needed to start a new life, working for a well hidden organization. His newest job is to eliminate Isabel, which means nothing to him as he can't remember. The night he slips into her house he can hear her and then sees her in her bedroom and she is calling his name! This stops Tristan as he does not remember her, but she is familiar to him.He slowly backs out, he wants to question her first and see how she knows him.

That is all I am going to say as I do not want to give any more details. This is a fast paced, have to read all at once type book and I know you will be dying for part 2 like me "right now", I gave Part 1 5***** stars and am counting the days until part two!

Omg!! This is the first book of the Red Ledger series and Wow what a perfect start. I have been waiting for this book and when I got it I dropped everything to read it. I have read other books from this talented author and she never disappoints. This book exceeded all my expectations. I couldn’t put this book down. I devoured this incredible read in only one sitting.

Reading Meredith's Hacker series, I knew I had me a favorite author that would give me the gritty, dirty, and suspense wrapped in a pretty bow. The Red Ledger is right up the alley. Tristan and Isabel are a train wreck for a love story. Yet you are hanging on each page as if your life depended on it. At the beginning you can feel the sullen mood. There was something thick in the air as you are trying to figure out through Isabel's sadness. I really thought her life was good, until it is not.

When Tristan finds out Isabel is the key to his past, he knows his mission has changed. Oh man, the chemistry and the danger will give you a rush! This story will have you running and trying to keep up with the suspense. The ending I was left wondering that there is so much more to this story. I can not wait to jump into Part 2. There is no way Tristan's and Isabel's story ends here. Oh and what the hell is Jay up too??? I don't care for her much. I need to know what is behind the secrets...So until next time!

There has been immense anticipation for this book. I was really excited to have had the opportunity to read this myself. Meredith Wild did not disappoint.

I went into Red Ledger not sure what I would get immediately I was pulled in by an explosive opening. The action never let up. This book kept my attention from page one up until the ending that left me desperate for part two. Tristan is a hit man who cannot remember anything about his past. His life is lived and measured a kill at a time. That all changes when Isobel’s name becomes the next that should be added to his Ledger. He’s prepared to kill her, like every other target he receives, until she says his name. Just like that, he may suddenly have a key to unlocking his forgotten past.

The Red Ledger is packed full of nonstop action. I immediately fell in love with Tristan and Isobel and now am anxious to see what will happen to them after that ending. If you loved The Hacker series, you will love this new one that has even more intensity, suspense and action. It’s a wild ride I’m excited to be on!

I loved that Isabel never forgot Tristan no matter how hard she tried. Though Tristan has no memory of his past he still felt he knew Isabel. I can't wait to see what happens in the next books the suspense is killing me! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because that's what this book deserves!!!

Well I was holding off reading this until all of the books were released, as I read lots of books and sometimes the time between Series is a wait. But I heard so much about this one, and it is a fast read because it is just over 100 pages, that I picked it up to see if I could find out what everyone was talking about!!

Yep, they are right. This is one fast, exciting read that you won't put down. Isabel is a teacher in Rio. She had moved away from the Washington life. She has a boyfriend there, who is in love with her, but Isabel isn't in love with him. Tristan is the one she has always loved and he is in her room watching her sleep, he is there to kill her! When Isabel whispers his name "Tristan", he can't kill her. But, he doesn't remember her or know why the women he is there to kill might know him.

The thing I did love about this book is the way the author wrote..Okay, I am not into the Adult Content, that is in it, but you get by that because of their love for one another. I don't want to give away to much, other then when Isabel is out to lunch the next day, she thinks she see Tristan and runs after him. But, why, has he stayed away from her for six years when they were in love and were going to be together? Does Tristan just want the memories that Isabel has of him, or will he do what he was sent to do, Kill Her??

Pick this one up and have the next one ready to read! I believe there will be 6 in the whole series, spaced out over the year.

WoW this book is Hook, Line & Sinker! I am so invested in this second chance, suspense romance. Tristan & Isabella have found themselves in quite a situation in Brazil...

The book is 10 chapters, a quick read for me and Meredith Wild' writing just captivates your mind. The book gives me a total Jason Bourne Movie feel, which I am OBSESSED with these movies.

The Red Ledger part 1 ends a cliffhanger. I thought it was a good read and a page turner. It kept you on the edge of your sit and it was filled with twist and turns from the first chapter to the last. These book left me with many emotions about these two characters Isabel and Tristan. This book was everything I was hoping for and more! It pulls you in from the beginning and holds you until the end. I literally could not put it down. There is suspense, intrigue and romance. I can't wait for more of Tristan and Isabel. Meredith Wild, you did not disappoint!

I love all of meredith wild books. This one had me seating on the edge of my seat the whole time. It shows that soul mates can find each other no matter how far away they are or how lkng it been since they were together.

If you are looking for mystery and adventure and passion, then the Red Ledger 1 has it all. Meredith Wild sucks you in right away and once you start you can't stop flipping through this book. Tristan and Isabel take you on a wild ride as you watch their story unfold while learning the screts to Tristan's past. This is a must read.

All I can say is WOW. I haven't read a book like this in so long. The characters that Meredith Wild has brought to life are just so very real and relatable. I can not wait for the rest of this series.

This was hyped as something great. I tried but found this tiresome and a poor ploy at selling sex. Using the "f-word" and sex scenes does not a novel make. Really disappointed and will not be reading any other in this series.

I was hooked from the very first page! Tristan is unlike any character I've ever read and Isabel is so intriguing. The suspense keeps you wanting more and dying to learn everything about Tristan. I'm still on the fence about Mateus that it keeps wondering what his story is too. This is a must read!!

I am absolutely hooked and can’t wait to read the next book! This is a great 2nd chance romance with lots of suspense & the story for Tristan & Isabel has just began! There story started in high school but Tristan ended it when he went in the army. Fast forward 6 years & they meet again only he doesn’t remember Isabel! I’m excited to see how they continue to get to know each other & reconnect!

There are people who would absolutely love this book, particularly those who want the tortured (more like abusive) hero.
Tristan and Isabel, our protagonists (both 24 yo) fell in love while in high school, rather, Isabel fell in love, while Tristan was just happy to be getting laid. So, of course, he calls off their relationship upon graduation and thereafter enrols in the Army.
Fast forward six yrs and Isabel is on the run, hiding somewhere in Rio, and Tristan, now an assassin, is hired to kill her.

Pause here. Think about it. Think about the probability of Tristan being the one chosen (in the multitude of God knows how many) to kill Isabel. I mean, come on.

Meanwhile, Isabel still has strong feelings for the boy who got away, which basically has her perpetually heartbroken, unwilling to even contemplate falling in love with someone else. The thing is, Tristan lost his memory -due to a head trauma- and he's shocked when Isabel calls his name.
Sensing a deeper story, he more or less kidnaps her because, you know, reasons. What ensues is nothing short of comical, except, I think the intent was not to amuse. To think there are 5 more serials. *chuckles*

Meredith has outdone herself! If you liked the Hacker and Bridge series - than you'll love this. It's the first story of Tristan and Isabelle, the drama, suspense and electric heat between them. An absolute page turner that you don't want to end. Now to read the 2nd book.

This is a very good, heart pounding novel. I held my breathe from start to finish. I was grabbed by the story immediately and could hardly put it down. Tristan and Isabel are very interesting and the beginning of their story has me hooked. I will be biting my nails until I can get part 2!!!

Amazing i stayed up all night reading it. My favorite thing is how different and unpredictable it is and how you just cant stop reading because everytime you think your at a stopping point it leaves you wanting more

This book will definitely leave you wanting more!! I finished this book in three hours once I started I couldn't stop!!! Tristan and Isabel are my new favorite characters. We all have a thing for the bad boy and Meredith does not disappoint!!! I can't wait to read the other books!!???????

I'm apart of Meredith's street team and received an arc in return for my honest opinion. I thought the story was good and I was left wanting more. I did however feel with this being a thriller there would be a little more action. I'm interested in seeing how the rest of the series plays out

Wow... suspense and a thrill ride all in one book. I love the intrigue to try and figure out who Tristan has become and why someone wants Isabell dead. Couldn’t put it down and now I need to read the next one.

I could not put this book down!! I wasn't sure in the beginning but the further I read the more I was glued!! Then when I got to the end I immediately wanted the rest of the series! I can't wait to read the rest of the series!!

I have always sworn that I would not read a “thriller” written by a woman. I weakened because of the hype. Regretted it. Pages and pages of sweaty descriptions of lovemaking. Won’t read anymore.

I am not meaning this to sound weird or off ...but this read is totally not the norm from Meredith ...i've read her Bridge Series, her Hacker Series (Meredith is one author I really had missed reading from her and wondered when she would write something again that I really wanted to read?) ... loved both so so much. you sort of grown to love and new what to expect from her ... or what you would get??! not that is a good or bad thing ...but this is very very very very different ... love the cover and it was free at the time i did purchase from the store, it was a note in her email ... that it was FREE that is. always follow authors' newsletters. so smart!! will i read more from this series?? not sure?? maybe if they are cheaper $ and i have the time ...too much reading from other authors at the moment. we will see??! i guess u might call this a bit more mysterious than her other read ... i am trying to think of what to call it?! i don't know. i don't or can't at this early of the AM ... find that word??! maybe a thriller ... is that too odd? i guess i need to google that word??! ( ;
