I did like this story. It's a classic take on the “Beauty & Beast” story written in a traditional “fairy tale style” with characters that have big emotions, and a plot that nearly ties up everything. Feels very classic, but with a princess who can fight her own battles.

I found myself skipping pages trying to find me good stuff. Which was a bummer because this book started so well and had so much potential. In the end, I think I was looking for more depth with the romance and more connection with the characters.

This is a good twist on a popular story. The details aren't the same but it follows the same story premise, it is not for kids but it's not raunchy either. There's drama, action, witty repartee and a love story with enough adult content to keep you interested . All in all a good story.

A nice take on the classic: this tale seems a popular basis for paranormal romance, and this book is a very good example. The plot isn't really surprising, but how could it be? The characters growth is nice, and the writing and pace are really good. Interested in seeing the next in the series.

I'm completely impressed with how this book played out! To be honest I was thinking it would be almost identical to the original Beauty and the Beast since it's my FAVORITE story of all but this version is by far the better of the two. I love how it keeps key elements true to the original yet branches out on its own everywhere else. The plot was fantastic and I couldn't put it down! Brava Ms. Savage, I applaud your brilliance! I cannot wait to read more from you!

Awesome! Beauty and the Beast is by far my favorite fairytale. It id always interseting to read the different takes on an old classic. Really thinking I should read the original and see how it compares!!! Very good!!! Loved it!!!

Finally an author with some writing skill! I thoroughly enjoyed this book except for the sex scene chapter at the end. When are writers going to realize that implied romance is so much better than explicit sex scenes? Skip that chapter and this book was enchanting.

I usually don't appreciate the twist on fairy tales in the romance genre. Usually pretty pornagraphic but this was a well written, very romantic and adventurous story of a cursed young man and a fierce and passionate young woman! I would recommend this book to anyone as I enjoyed it very much!

I loved the overall story! Some parts seemed a little juvenile, but that might have been intentional to show her sheltered life or that she's somewhat naïve. I look forward to seeing what the sequels will be like.

This has to be one of my favorite renditions of the classic Beauty and the Beast story. A dragon shifter as the Beast is utterly perfect. I loved this book so much I finished it in a day. I can't wait to read the other two stories in this series.

I hesitated to read this type of story, but once I started I could not stop. I really enjoyed it, going to start the next one.

I read the original French fairy tale as a kid. The darkness and light are extremely well written in this adaptation with plots and twists for the heroes to overcome. The sweet and funny banter, the love story was so much fun to read. I hope she writes many more.

I am a huge beauty and the best fan and I often look for books within the same type of setting as this. I can truly say I was not disappointed. The story had me hooked from the beginning. The main characters have earned a place in my heart forever.

P.S. This was such a great read I couldn't put it down not even to do my job. I was caught a few times reading instead of working.?

This was a great book!!! I purchased the audio as well and listened to it while traveling 800 miles, it kept me from wanting to stop and made for a pleasurable drive despite the traffic. I already downloaded the next book Red and the Wolf. Can't wait to start!!!

Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite story so I was unsure of what to expect. I read reviews that said it was different so I tried to view it as a different story altogether and I absolutely adored it! There was enough to keep you guessing the similarities but the story was refreshing and amazing in itself. Couldn't stop reading! LOVED IT!!!

Some spoilers. I love that the beast was a dragon and always had been. I also loved that the Princess had magic, could make her own decisions, and didn't make poor ones. I would have like to see more character development, but I guess that would have made it unnecessarily long. I am sure I will read this one again.

I was looking forward to reading this book. It started out pretty good but the writing gradually got sloppy. There are some stories that I can see the characters in my mind and feel like I'm really there. This book didn't do that for me. Also, the writing was cheesy, especially at the end, I like books that are more realistic, with conversations that would actually happen between people. So overall, it was ok but not great.

A re-telling that was so much more! Did I have a few little issues with it....sure .... but all in all a wonderful play on a classic!
If you are looking for a true love story, this book is for you!

I love the characters in the book written a style of the original story but with added twists. The characters are relatable, sometimes funny, and with a little bit of erotic in dreams and in life at the end. It is also a charming story written for adults. The plot is a simple one it has many depths presented to make it a better story fit for adults.

Highly recommended for somebody who likes to a little enchanting story to read.

Read this book and find out what happens .This story is very worth reading .
