I have read numerous zombie books and the two so far in this series have been a couple of my favorites. The characters are very likable and engaging. The cause of this outbreak is very interesting and different than any I've heard before. Almost all of the characters you have come to like are still alive which is different from most zombie stories and is probably one reason I have liked these books so much. I'm looking forward to book 3.

I gave the first book more stars. I was hoping the author would ease up his fawning over trucker's who were vets. Nope. It got worse. Find me trucker who can do 20 pushups and I'll buy this book. Utterly absurd. Every "civilian" is two seconds away from peeing their pants and every trucker "has seem some sh#\".

This blows.

Riding out the zombie apocalypse in a department store has been done to death (pun intended). A truck stop is entirely new! I absolutely loved both volumes and can't wait for the next installment. Truly a fantastic read!
A Gaza Doctor's Journey on the Road to Peace and Human Dignity :: Who was the Man? What was the Message? - The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus :: Kill Him! The Pilgrimage of Psychotherapy Patients :: A Trucker's Tales of Life on the Road - The Long Haul :: A Pittsburgh Family’s Battle with Evil in Their Home

I love this book. I hope there is a 3rd. Read 1 and 2 back to back. Had trouble putting my kindle down to be honest. Yes, there area few typos, and sometimes the technical aspects of the guns get a bit tedious, but I really enjoyed both of these books.

Great read, pages turn so fast you realize the book is over and you want more. Only negative would be to tone down on the anti Muslim message a bit. Seems a little over done. Other than that, excellent!

It began with an interesting idea of the trucks and the trucking community and then too much stereotypes and generalizations and too little plot and character development. I accept that the characters could have views that are for me unacceptable. People hold these views as we have seen this past year, but life is a series of challenges and contradictions. You characters and should have the's moments too in order to give the story some moment.

Saw the cover of the first book, read the blurb and got the book. Couldn't put it down! To finished it in one night. Then I got second book, also great read. I'm into all genres on books! Can't wait for the next book.

Not quite as good as the first but still, a good read with a fun storyline, great characters and some great moments. Definitely a little bit different take on the ZA than other books and found Simpson did a good job for the most part with the storytelling.
