I loved Landon and Kenna! Their story was so exciting and sexy to read. There were twists and turns, frustration, humor and panty-melting scenes. NS kept me entertained from start to finish. I highly recommend this book! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Love this book. Could NOT put it down. This is one of those books that sends you on a roller coaster of emotions. If you don’t like books that leaves wanting more or is just a really good time then this is not the book for you because this book is both. Way to go Nicole Snow!!!

I LOVE the dynamic between Kenna and Landon! The way he pushes her away and how her resilience keeps her with him. He is the type who needs to be smacked on the back of the head until he sees what is in front of him. And she is the one who does the smacking. Great love story.

Wow it was an intense suspense hot just what a read I was caught from the get go I just couldn’t put it down this couples chemistry was just off the charts and damn I loved it A MUST READ BOOK

The storyline is interesting. You will need to stick with it. There is a good ending. Landon and Kenna have issues, we get it. It's not necessary to bore us repeating it chapter to chapter in the beginning of the book.

The story of Landon and Kenna was great. This book will keep your attention til the end. Filled with subspence, hate to love and every thing inbetween. Nicole Snow did it again as always. And yes their I’d a happily ever after.

A love story between Kenna a romance novelist and her childhood crush, her brothers best friend Landon. Landon has anger issues over the killing of his father. The killer has never been found. I reccomend this book.

This plot was masterfully written, I could not stop reading until the end. I also liked that this story wasn't predictable while Landon Strauss is tested in some extreme ways. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced reader copy

I am always a sucker for a good coming of age or second chance romance and this one did not disappoint. Enjoyed the twists and turns with some sweetness and edgy drama thrown in. Looking forward to hearing Skyler’s story next.

Strong chemistry and great characters make this an amazing book. With an excellent story line, page turning twists and turns, along with some hot steamy scenes, you are kept on the edge of your seat. A must read for sure.

This book was so slow. I usually find it difficult to put a book down but with this one it was just the opposite. It is way too wordy. No one has a thought or feeling - they have paragraphs & pages of them. Kenna solves a mystery that police & fireman can’t solve which is just ridiculous. The “hero” of the story leaves her dying for pages while he tries to decide if he wants revenge or to save her. I would really give this 1 1/2 stars if I could. I seldom stop reading a book once I start but came very close with this one.

I liked the characters well enough, but the story line was not very engaging. The big secret that Kenna read in Landon's journal was just silly. The editing was poor as well. All in one page we read that Landon swims in the ocean every morning, and then we're told it was a pool. All in all it wasn't horrible, just not interesting.

The best thing about this book was that it was pretty well edited, and the cat’s of course, everything else... Lets just say that what was said in one page could’ve been said in a paragraph. I’m normally not so critical, but when I begin to get bored reading the same book...it’s just not that good. Steven King says that what you can say in three words is better than what is said in ten (something along those lines) clearly this author didn’t get the message.
Of course if there’s a page number that makes someone make more money for their book on the store rather than judging by how well liked it is, but personally I’d rather read something good and short than read something really bad and long. I’m skimming the whole way, excited to get to the end not so I can see how things end, but so I can leave my review and never have to open that awful book again. In this book, the good bits were in the beginning and early middle, everything else was trash. Don’t bother reading this one, and place the author on your do not read list.

The story was ok. The characters were ok. My main problem with this book was sentences where the pronoun was omitted. I just don’t feel like people really talk that way. It was hard to stay focoused when all I could think about was how hard would it be to add I at the beginning of a sentence!

Not! One wonders why Kenna and Landon have this love/hate relationship to which I found quite overly ridiculous.
Toward the end, as the mystery troublemaker comes together, firemen, Kenna, Landon have all been at the scene of the fire. Of course, Sometime later, it's Jenna who finds evidence! That's too was ridiculous! Then we have a security owner post war vet with an alarm system around his house yet no motion lighting.
This am added up to.....you guessed it! Ridiculous!!!
The end was over the top in sex which ruined it even more so. LESS IS MORE! I'm surprised we didn't hear all about his length and girth!!!! Maybe next book......(eyes rolling)

Suspense and romance is a good combination. But it would be good to show more romance (not steamy scenes) where the guy appreciates the girl more and falls for her since she is so patient with him and his feelings.

This story feels so forced to me that i cannot finish this book. I made it to 61 percent but cannot keep making myself read this. It is cheesy, not sexy at all, and the characters are flat. I am glad this was on kindle unlimited and I did not pay money for it.

This book, I devoured in one sitting! It was sexy, it was passionate and unexpected at the same time. The characters are so likable and the plot had me begging for more. I didn't want it to end. I loved how well the story meshed and came together. It was beautiful and had many of the feels and the heat, WOW, WILD AND HOT is what comes to mind as well as possessive and sigh worthy. This is a definite MUST OWN book!

I was really torn between a 2 and a 3 star review...so I'm going to go with a 2.5

I really wanted to like this book more than I did, but there were just too many issues.

To star with, I couldn't stand the formatting. No indents and double spacing between paragraphs was really hard on the eyes, especially when the author went on a one sentence tangent. Second was the whole premise of the book. The fall out between Landon and Kenna was weak at best and the shameless way the author had them "make up" (which is sexual because HOW ELSE WILL TWO PEOPLE HEAL A RIFT) was just eye-roll worthy. They go from barely talking to all over each other to running away within a few chapters. I'm surprised my brain didn't get whiplash. And again, the reasons were supper weak. The author also loved to go on page long rants about stupid details that coupled with the terrible formatting started to give me a headache.

If shallow characters and plot float your boat, then this is a book for you. If you're looking for a little more substance (which there should have been considering how long the MCs have known each other) then I'd find another book cause you ain't finding any of that here.

Couldn't get i to the story. The h is so whiny that I couldn't stand her. The H is a douche. There was no way to even get into the stoey line. When I started to skim within the first couple of chapters, I knew I couldn't finish this.

Sorry but this was a very slow book hard to keep my attention and caught myself getting bored with it very often. I'm usually a book a day girl and this book took me like 2 days to read. I love all your other books this one just didnt work for me

I'm not sure what I was expecting but you know how sometimes you come across a book that sounds interesting but interesting you start reading, you realize that you've made a mistake. This reads like someone who was just trying to make a quick buck by writing contemporary romance novels. It tries to hard.

It’s predictable, unoriginal, and one-dimensional. It was a good enough story to skim for an hour or so while laying out the pool. But it seems like it was written by someone who thinks there is a lot of money in writing romance novels so they are gonna get in on the action. If you want a boom that makes you feel read a book by Jewel E Ann, Brittainy Cherry, LJ Shen, Mariana Zapata, ... Amy Daws. These are authors who site books that won’t let you don’t and stories that are worth every cent. You know they are writing because they are real writers.

I hate to leave a book unfinished which is why I made myself plow through it. Wasn't a fan of the characters and the storyline was too far fetched! Some parts I just skimmed over because the author had scenes drag out. She could've omitted at least one third of the book. It's an ok read, but wouldn't highly recommend it.

The big secret between them was weak, and not good enough to stop them from talking for years. It was made out to be a huge deal; when it was private thoughts written in a diary. It has small bits of drama, but those parts were minor.

I made it about 1/3 of the way through. The conflict between the characters was a let down. Outside of the main characters knowing each other for a long time, there wasn’t a clear reason why they belonged together.

If you love excessive metaphors and internal dialogue with a thin plot, this might be the one for you.

Really had a hard time connecting with these characters. There was too much going on and it seemed forced and at times stale. Overall decent plot, but I wouldn’t read it again and most likely won’t be reading Skylar’s story.

The story line is good but This book is very wordie . There are paragraphs that could be left out and the book would be more interesting. I think the author got paid by the word and loved adjectives.
