Omg best story ever! I was so annoyed at the beginning of this story but found it more gripping as it progressed. Gramma and Tanner were the most funniest character to me and a train wreck as separate individuals but as friends as soul mates it was a glorious connection.

Love this book! I found myself very sucked into this world that Jessica has created and felt the emotions piling out of Tanner & Gemma. Loved the addition of the sassy Nonna who wasn't afraid to tell either of them what's up! Very meddlesome but it worked out! ?
Loved the strong lead characters in this book and the little twists and turns that created for a rocky start to this 'professional' relationship that they both tried hard to get behind. The different dates were a fun addition and ties into the matchmaking business that Nonna, and now Gemma, run!

Received a copy of this and enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the CHEMISTRY between Tanner and Gemma. Tanner is jaded with love and Gemma isn't trying to get attached. Once the walls come down and it is undeniable that loves in the air. They just have to be open to it and let it happen.
Gemma's NONNA is a hoot. She is the life of the party. She tells it like it is. Fun enjoyable read.

When I first started reading this book I thought Tanner was kind of a jerk. With Gemma I felt sorry for her as to how things started out for her. As I got further into the story I could not stop reading. It drew me in front the beginning all the way to the end. I highly recommend this book.

I like the dual point of view, it helps me understand the characters better. Tanner and Gemma are two very strong personalities, it was fun watching their story unfold. There is a time or two you think it's going to go one way but they will surprise you.

A fantastic story! Just enough intrigue and mystery to keep it spicy. And the chemistry between Gemma and Tanner doesn’t hurt, either. It may have started out as a job but sure ended up like a dream come true. 5 stars!

I loved this book. Keeps you hooked. Gemma has a run of bad luck which turns around for her. She helps her grandmother out on matchmaking business where she meets Tanner. The 2 have automatic chemistry. They both fight it for awhile. But it's a happily ever after.

In the beginning this story seemed a little slow for me. I had some trouble remaining focused. But after the first few chapters it was engaging and funny.

Tanner and Gemma seemed like they wanted to be with each other but were each facing past emotions. And in the end even though it took Nonna to point it out. They finally admitted their true feelings for each other.

I received an ARC of this story and I am so lucky I did. I was able to read this great book before it was released. The plot and humor had me reading until the early hours of the morning...even though I had to work the next day. Let's not forget the steam this book had. The only thing I am sad about is that the book is over!

I have read a few romance novels in my day but this one takes the cake as most addictive. I couldn't put my kindle down. The ups and downs of the main characters' epic love was amazing and kept me wanting more. I can't wait to read more from Jessica Blake

This book was great! I laughed so hard at the things Gemma was thinking. She was adorable and her relationship with her Nonna was so special, I couldn’t put the book down, I needed to find out if Tanner would open up his heart for Gemma. The whole concept about the Matchmaking and friendship apps was really interesting too?

This was such a awesome story from start to finish. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed reading a book so much as this one. Oh lord this book had me laughing through out the book thank's to one little old lady and her friend's and a chihuahua named George Clooney. Tanner who is the owner/app designer of a find love app for Jackson Axis is overheard at a tech expo that he doesn't believe in love and talk about putting your foot in your mouth thing's at the company start taking a nose dive, so his assistant comes up with this idea his gma knows a lady who finds love for people and if he does this it'll boost his image as well, but he doesn't know what he's getting himself into when instead of the old lady he's meeting it's s her granddaughter Gemma and they don't hit it off right away, but he wants her to work with him she sets him up on 3 dates and oh boy does the fun begin there's even a kissing booth thrown in omg I just died laughing. This was such a awesome book. I didn't want to stop reading more and more. This is most definitely a must read.

This is my unbiased opinion and my review.

This is the first book I've read from Jessica Blake,,,, I enjoyed her writing,,,

This book is about Gemma Elizabeth Amato, who lives in Austin, Texas with her Nonna and Nonna's Chihuahua, George Clooney, her father, Nonna's only son, skipped town and was living in Spain to become a winemaker more than a decade ago, and her mom left her with her Nonna when she went to capture the market in Real Estate in Arizona or Las Vegas, said if was only for 6 months, tops,,,, Nonna has a Matchmaking Business and Nonna has premonitions and has warned Gemma that today is a bad day,,,, but Gemma let's it go in one ear and out the other, as she gets laid off from her job and her 12 year old Honda car gets stolen, and to top it all off, her so called boyfriend, breaks up with her because she got laid off, which, in turn, was the best because she was going to break it off with him because he felt Gemma without a job was of more a problem than the fact that a good looking, rich man kissed Gemma and Gemma liked it,,,,, but, she needs to stop feeling so good about the kiss, because he's a client of Nonna's Matchmaking, which now affects Gemma, as Nonna has pulled her into the business to get more collateral to get the loan to buy Nonna' house, so Nonna can move into the retirement center, Zilker Heights,,,,,, and Nonna's only has 3 rules and dont get personal with the clients is one,,,, Gemma is so screwed now,,,,,,

Tanner Jackson is the designer of the #1app called True Love, his best friend and executive assistant Jasper Crane and Tanner were talking after his live interview with a panel of media, and other people, etc, Tanner still has his live mic on and he, in confidence, tells Jasper that this top app oir the last 14 months is basically b.s. and that these people are all like sheep, following what Tanner tells them,,,, the media overhears and now Tanner has some very mad people that are feeling deeply betrayed by Tanner and his app,,, the media, his consumers that trusted him, and most of all, his board of directors, but his V.P. of Jaxson Axis, Shane Bennington thinks maybe he can cash in on this and oust Tanner from the head of Jaxson Axis with the help of Tanner's ex-fiancé Layla Kendrick and Tanner is getting flack from his company and now from Gemma, he has no idea what is going on,,,,

Ok,,, you have a couple of the players and their roles,,,, you really need to grab this book,,, it's a really great read,,,, I had a hard time putting it down,,,, I would totally recommend this book to anyone,,,, it has everything you want, some action, adventure and some good, old fashion steam that we love so much,,,,, grab this book,,, you wont be sorry, I know I wasn't,,,,

I got this ARC voluntarily to do an honest review,,,,

Totally fell in love with the characters of this book! Gemma is the granddaughter of an old fashioned matchmaker. Nonna is a character. She gets these feelings that normally come true and she has a feeling that Gemma's life is going to change. Boy, does it. First she's downsized from her job, then her car gets stolen and finally her dud of a boyfriend decides its too much. Gemma has no job, no transportation and an attraction to a new client that she cant deny. Oh! She has been coerced into being a matchmaker for a high profile client that has publicly, by accident, announced he doesnt believe in love.
Tanner has a bitter taste for love. His ex fiancee was an up and coming country singer. She was perfect on paper until she broke Tanner by having an affair with her manager. Now he doesnt believe in love even though his wealth was made off a matchmaking app. His announcement was in front of press after a panel at a convention. It didn't take long before it went viral. His reluctance to see an old fashioned matchmaker is put to the side once he meets Gemma.
These two find an unusal friendship first. They have such chemistry that they can't deny it. Gemma is torn since Tanner is a real client and her Nonna keeps warning her about not falling for him. As her contract to find him dates rolls along, she finds it harder to send him potential girlfriends since it's a role she wants herself. Tanner finds himself comparing these dates to Gemma. And finds them lacking. Corporate problems follow Tanner that he must deal with including the ex who keeps coming back. The ex not only causes Tanner problems but Gemma as well.

I truly enjoy this author's work. Claiming my soulmate is a sweet story about finding love after you've given up on it. Tanner is an app developer who has created a best-selling match making app but has become jaded and feels love is not real after he has been betrayed and heart-broken by his former fiancée. He finds himself in a world of trouble after his snide comments about love are broadcast at a tech convention. To rehabilitate his image he is persuaded to try an old-school match making service that is owned by Gemma's nonna. Gemma has recently been fired and her grandmother guilts her into taking the meeting with Tanner. What transpires is the two of them convince themselves they have a friends with benefits relationship and they ignore their developing feelings. As they find themselves more and more committed to each other, they must face forces trying to drive them apart. Will they finally admit their love? Will they have their happily ever after? This book kept me engaged and I highly recommend it.

Tanner is a software millionaire due to the success of his dating app. Problem number one; he was burned by his ex-fiancé. Problem number two; he was taped voicing his disbelief in love. Mitigating the negative backlash involves hiring a local matchmaker to dunk Tanner back in the dating pool.

Love, the premise. Love, even more the execution. The characters come alive here.

Gemma loses her job, so assists her grandmother (who is a hoot) in her matchmaking business. Gemma penalizes Tanners’ disinterest by matching him with precisely who he asked for, resulting in a hilarious first date.

As Tanner and Gemma spend more time together so she can “better” match him sparks fly!! Scintillating with touches of humor and ultimately intrigue – this story is pure entertainment and a pleasure to read. I highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed Claiming my Soulmate. From the beginning I captivated. From Jump I knew Tanner was going to have a hard time because he was talking crap about his own app and I knew before it happened that someone was listening in and it was going to be all bad. And I was right. But from there the book was kind of unpredictable as far the motives of the characters went and how things were going to end.

I loved Gemma because she was always hoping for the best despite her misgivings about abandonment. She still believed in love cold heartedly and that is so hard as we saw in Tanner after his big heart break Looloo Kickstand, Haha. Yeah Tanner was right I will never be able to say her name right again because Looloo Kickstand was just so fitting and so much better.
I absolutely love Josie, Gemma’s Nonna, she was funny and witty, and telling which most people her age are. She was old enough to not care what people thought of her and where Gemma couldn’t really be mad or do anything when Josie embarrassed Gemma.

In the end Tanner and Gemm were good together. Just enough different about them to make their relationship special and provide that “chemistry” Tanner kept talking about. They got their much deserved happily ever after. The only thing was kind of like “predictable” is when The story closes out with Gemma being pregnant. That is kind of what I was expecting at the end of it and would have just like things to end with the question going unanswered.

But all in all I really enjoyed Claiming My Soulmate and would recommend it if you like whirlwind romances and girls from the opposite side of the tracks being swept away by a billionaire. Go Gemma. And Josie?

I absolutely loved this book and was hooked from beginning to end. I believe this is a 5+ star story. Blake manages to write with humour and intensity at the same time. The story highlights love, humour, fun, jealousy and betrayal. She has written some awesome characters. Most are wonderful and a few are horrid, but they are all interesting and integral to the book. Her characters grow and develop to ensure that the story is logical while remaining intriguing. I’ve read quite a few books by Jessica Blake and this one is definitely one of her best. Thinking about it I haven’t read one that I didn’t love. I might be a little biased because Jessica Blake is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

I received an ARC for this book in exchange of an honest review.

I have enjoyed this book from start to finish. Tanner is a creative app creator who happens to leave his mike on at a conference to promote his dating app and shows he doesn’t believe in love.
Gemma is a girl who has suffered loss in her life and is having a bad stretch. Her awesome Nonna runs a dating services and Tanner is contracted with them to save his image.
Along the way of the contracted theee dates. Gemma and Tanner fall for each other. They have their own damaged hearts, an ex fiancé and bad VP trying to stop them.
This book had many LOL moments. I enjoyed the dialogue and banter. So many funny scenes. Great read . Loved the epilogues and the dual POV. Everyone needs a Nonna in their lives.

Claiming My Soulmate was a funny, heartbreaking romance novel about two people who couldn’t be more different socially yet more alike than they know. Tanner has hardened his heart and has become a cynic when it comes to true love and soulmates. All that changes when he meets Gemma, a woman who still believes in love even after a traumatic experience in her youth. This was a great new read from Jessica Blake. Readers will be drawn into this story of finding the one person who helps you believe in love again. Along with plot twists and passion romance, Claiming My Soulmate is one book readers won’t want to put down.

Boy meets girl--and you'll love every minute of it! The chemistry between Tanner and Gemma is instantaneous and totally believable. Jessica Blake's contemporary romance takes the time to develop, not only the characters and supporting characters, but also the romance: Tanner doesn't believe in love and Gemma believes that love is worth the risk. Here's my favorite quote from Tanner: "The muscles in my eyes were more than likely strained from the number of times I had to not roll my eyes at some stupid cliché about love in the modern world..." Right? (Romance readers, you know what I'm talking about!) Tanner and Jessica aren't just beautiful on the outside (and therefore attracted to each other) it's the way they respond to each other in everyday situations that lets you see the romance to develop over time. So many contemporary romances don't take the time to give us great, believable dialogue and story arc...just the "hot" romance stuff and conflict around 75% that is resolved by 84%. (Again, romance readers, you KNOW what I'm talking about!) The supporting cast is also great: Nonna, Jasper, and even the despicable Shane and Layla. Just enough friction to cause a scene but not enough that it derails the whole relationship. I like it when I get so involved that I have a stake in how the love story ends. You won't be disappointed if you're a HEA kind of reader!

Claiming My Soulmate by Jessica Blake ... This book grabbed me from the first few pages...I felt like I was part of the story..at least I wanted to be. Tanner (app creator of TRUE LOVE..and jaded on love himself) Gemma (granddaughter of Nonna (owner of MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN) couldn't be more perfect for each other ...even if they can't see it. Tanner gets caught on a "hot mike" and the fun begins... There are lots of laughs, some tears...both kinds, steamy sex, drama with a snake and an evil ex...and a very HEA.. oh and don't forget George Clooney....

I love Tanner and Gemma's story. So captivating, fun, and hot! This is a very nice read with a wonderful and sweet story. Great balance of substance and sexy scenes. Definitely steamy!

I was not a fan of Tanner initially. He called his customers "sheep", "fools for believing in love", and "fools for buying his app". When his comments was made public and his reputation was under attack, I thought that he really deserves it! Why sell a product that you really don't believe in? That's why he was labelled as phony.

I got to understand Tanner after reading more about him. He is a successful businessman who has had his heart broken. He had a very public split with a country singer ex fiance who cheated on him.

On the other hand Gemma was optimistic about love even though she had a heartbreaking loss in the past. She was just fired from her job and was helping her Nonna's matchmaking business. This is how Gemma and Tanner met.

The twist and turns kept then story very interesting. Tanner and Gemma found love, that makes me a happy reader. Great HEA!

I received an ARC from Jessica Blake as a part of her ARC Team with a promise of an honest review on the store.

I really loved this book. The interactions between Tanner and Gemma went from one extreme to the next, one minute hilarious and the next scorching hot. As they got to know each other, their connection kept getting stronger and more intense. There was some drama with a vengeful coworker and a conniving ex, but they just added more to the story. I highly recommend this book.

I loved Claimimg My Soulmate- I enjoy several different romance genres and this story made me laugh in so many places- I loved how Tanner and Gemma’s personalities both clashed and meshed. Grandma and the silly dog just made me laugh out loud. There was just enough “angst” to make it interesting and the sex scenes were fun/hot without being the entire focus of the story. I also liked how the senior citizens were portrayed as still interested in a love life, friends and learning about tech stuff. All in all Claimimg My Soulmate gave me a warm feeling with some laughs, great sex scenes and I plan to read it again (I was provided a free copy for my honest review)

Loved it! The people come to life quickly and are very relatable. The story is told by the two main characters. One chapter is Gemma relating what she sees and feels, and the next chapter is Tanner doing the same. It feels very personal and I was drawn into their world effortlessly. There is even a villain whose treachery makes Tanner’s life more challenging. Read it, you will be glad you did.

I was very excited to be given the opportunity to read an ARC of this story. I am new to Jessica Blake and was not sure what I should expect. I was so very pleasantly surprised! This lighthearted romance is well crafted in a very real world with a wonderful cast of characters. Even the supporting ones are well done and full of life. Tanner needs some help recovering from imploding his image and brand as the creator of a very popular dating app after he is overheard declaring some very unbecoming things about love and the app's users. Gemma is suffering one disaster after another in her life and is recruited by her hilarious professional matchmaker Nonna to help Tanner as a client. Sparks fly, and not always is a good way! Definitely recommend this read if you need a fun romance!
