From on of my favorite authors comes a new series unlike her others! Love it! And into the Cozy realm she goes! Ms Larson strikes again!
Bed and Breakfast and Murder- Fiona Fleming Cozy Mysteries book 1 by Patti Larson
Fiona Fleming a new sleuth in town? Well not according to her that is! She's just moved back to Reading Vermont because her grandma, Iris Fleming, died and she inherited her B&B Petunia's. And also ironically enough, her pug, also named Petunia! Petunia is a fawn colored black eared, black, wrinkly faced, curly-tailed junk eating and farting, lovable pug that belonged to her grandma. Which worked out because she was out of a job and her boyfriend of 5 years cheated on her.
Fiona is the daughter of the previous sherif in town, so everyone knows her. Not that everyone doesn't know everybody in town to begin with. This being a small town to begin with!
Fiona has barely begun when Pete Wilkins is murdered by her koi pond. And the gloves are on! The new sherif wants her to stay out of it, her dad was already investigating him, and on top of that Pete had a deed signed by her grandmother saying he owned the B&B so she is squarely a person of interest!
Can Fee survive the small town after being in New York for awhile or will she cave from the chores that come with owning a B&B?b

I loved this cute and quirky story!!!?I was kind of hoping Fee would end up with Crew but that's ok.? I don't know ?♀️ why he would be with the other lady. I guess I'll have to read the next book.

It kept me reading, I couldn't put it down! I thought I had figured out who the murderer was but then bam she hit me with a whole new twist in the end. I can't wait to read her second and third books.

Another winner in a new genre from my favorite author Patti Larsen. Patti does it again, she has the magic touch and her flair for writing spews one remarkable character after another. Each adventure draws you in from the world of the Hayle Universe to her newest sleuth Fiona Fleming in the charming Cozy Mysteries. It's a fun and fast read and leaves you in anticipation of Fiona'a next adventure, which lucky for us is already happening in book 2!

Patti Larsen totally kills it writing in this genre. I loved this book almost as much as her Hayle coven books. It has everything you need for the perfect cozy mystery. Spunky heroine, quirky pet, eccentric characters, hot hero, and of course the mystery. She kept me guessing right up until the end. I am hooked and am so grateful that she writes fast and I won't have to wait long for the next in the series.
