I love this series and eagerly awaited Belle's story. The book was good but I felt the plot could have been better. The suspense aspect of it left me feeling flat and the sex scenes were a little boring. But otherwise a very nice read.

I felt like the book was just a copy and paste from the previous books. And not a good one at that. It was boring and It was not clear on the fact the that the female was African American. The male that was supposed to be dominant was just irritating and childish. I was so looking forward to this book but was greatly disappointed by the writing. The ghost portion is not worth mentioning.

I normally am a big fan of these ladies but this book was so boring. I didn't feel the chemistry and pull between the characters at all. I loved the first three books in this series and would recommend those.

Once again, the writing team of Shayla Black and Lexi Blake has hit it out of the ballpark with the sixth book in the Masters of Ménage series, Their Virgin Secretary.

Steamy, poignant, and captivating, the book features four people from damaged backgrounds who manage to stumble their way through a relationship to form a family. The hub of the family is Annabelle Wright, whose father died when she was a child, and her mother shut down, shutting Bella out. Her only sustained connection has been her best friend Kinley, whom we met in Their Virgin Hostage. That is, until she goes to work for three attorneys, Tate, Kellan, and Eric.

For the past year, she has yearned for the three spectacular men, but has been afraid to approach them, thinking they only saw her as their efficient office administrator. Until Kinley's wedding, when the three men decide they aren't going to wait any longer to claim her. But each of them has their own troublesome past. Tate is a nerd, incredibly smart, who could never impress his family no matter what he achieved. He also has no filter and speaks pretty much everything that comes to his mind. Which is why when he wants to approach Belle, he plans to offer his penis. I fell in love with Tate, and his care for Belle.

Eric is the smooth operator of the group, but his home life was a disaster because his father only appreciated him for his athletic ability. He and Tate formed a bond in college and they both know Belle is the one for them.

Kellan, on the other hand, can't trust any woman or any relationship because his father impregnated Kellan's wife and married her as soon as the ink was dry on the divorce papers. He wants Belle, as his submissive and lover but he doesn't want a commitment. But Belle is afraid that if Kellan doesn't buy into the family, the entire family will fall apart.

Throw in a haunted New Orleans mansion, complete with ghosts who pat Tate and Eric on the butt, (and slap Kellan upside the head, a puppy named Sir; and an intriguing mystery and you have the ingredients for a funny, touching, lively story that will capture the reader from page one and have them wishing for more when it ends.

I give this a 5 stars out of 5 stars.

Lexi Black and Shayla Black have done it again with this book.

Eric, Tate, Kellan went to high school together. Eric was a football player with failing grades, Tate was the nerd that got to tutor Eric. Kellan was the referee between the two. They went to college together and then when they all graduated Kellan went his separate way because of a girl. He moved back toawrds his home town and worked in his dad's law firm. Eric and Tate were also lawyers. When Kellan ended up down on his luck after his divorce, Eric had called him up and invited him to stay with him and Tate.

Eric and Tate were starting their own firm but they weren't very good businessmen. They were better lawyers. Kellan bailed them out and Eric and Tate made him partner. Then when they hired Annabelle, or as she liked to be called Belle. The three of them were all thinking some sort of way to get her to be theirs. Except Kellan, he was not of the trusting person.

When Belle went to Texas for a friends doggie wedding, that is when they decide it was time to make their move. It had been a year and they were getting tired of waiting. But that night didn't go as they thought it would. Things got said and actions got misread. Belle took off.

They guys were not going to back down though. They went after her. They weren't not letting her go. They were not going to let her quit her job without them. She was going to have to doing something drastic in order for her to get rid of them.

Things started out slowly and not going good when the guys found Belle. She had inherited her grandmothers house but the house had secrets. Secrets that someone to not to get out. Things started happening and they guys were not happy. The communication they guys and Belle were started to be established. But what happened when things started to move forward. Would Kellan join in? Would Eric and Tate not move forward with Belle because of Kellan could he get over his past.

These three and Belle are one hot read.

No one writes sizzling hot menage like Lexi and Shayla do. Hot Damn!

Their Virgin Secretary is a panty melting scorcher.

Annabelle (Belle) Wright thinks she knows what she wants. Her bosses. She’s see’s how happy her friend Kinley is with her three husbands and wants that for herself. But how taboo would it be to be married to three men? She was beginning not to care because she had strong feelings for Tate, Eric, and Kellan. She had no clue that those boys had been watching her too. What she would give for just one night.

This story is packed with everything including a haunted mansion, voodoo, ghosts, and murder. I was literally on the edge of my seat waiting for something else to jump out and grab me. Belle gives the boys one shot and they blow it, big time. So when she finds out that she has inherited her aunts estate in New Orleans she is out the door. Kinley helps her escape and Belle’s trio of alpha males are not happy about it. Even though they are not happy they are still in love with her. Of course it does not take long for Tate the technonerd to track Belle down. Kellan, Eric, and Tate are destined for apologies and groveling in order to win her back. This part cracks me up and the fact that Lexi and Shayla named Belle’s dog Sir.

“Kinley said you left with someone you called Sir,” Tate said. “But you were just being polite, right? You’re a very well-mannered woman. You wouldn’t have just met some random man and run off with him. I mean, if you waited twenty-six years to have sex, you’re probably not going to copulate with a stranger.”

“Tate, you’re not helping the situation, “ Kellan said.

It does not take long for the boys to set up shop and try to convince Belle that their relationship can work. They want her to move back to Chicago and be their girl. The problem is that Belle does not want to move back to Chicago. She wants to start a new life for herself in New Orleans and is not interested in being anyone’s secretary. So will the men be able to convince Belle of their love and that this crazy arrangement of theirs can work, or is it too late?

I have really enjoyed this series. It is a lot a of fun and has just the right amount of sizzlin hot sexy scenes to keep you fanning yourself and panting for more. Lexi Blake and Shayla Black are the Mistresses of Menage. No one writes sinfully sexy panty melting menage like Lexi and Shayla.

This series never gets old for me. I loved all the men that Belle lusted after but forced to pick a favorite it would be Tate. He of the totally honest response and lack of social filter. Next would be Kellan, cuz who doesn't like a brooding tortured hero? And last but not least Eric, the all around nice guy with a mainstream quality about him that makes him the ideal front man. Belle, as expected of this series, lacks self-confidence and lusts from afar, not realizing she's the true love of her men. As things come to a boil she's devastated when she announces her virgin status and is met with a surprising reaction and as a result runs away. Her men, of course, come after her. After they find her.

I found a lot of assuming going on in this book and that is about as real as it gets. No one really talks about what they want; they assume you know. And then the disasters start to strike as disappointments add up and well as the feelings of betrayal. Yep, figured all that out and I don't have a degree in psychology. What I have is common sense. The majority of this story takes place in New Orleans in Belle's inherited home that belonged to her grandmother. And it's haunted! Or is it? I loved the interactions and reactions of the men with the ghostly goings on and since we got glimpses of Belle's best friend Kinley and her husbands, I hope we'll see how this group is fairing in future books. A good addition to the series.

I don't think Shayla Black and Lexi Blake can do no wrong when writing. Bring them together, and the book is so EXPLOSIVE!

Even though this one is not my favorite Masters of Menage, Tate is my all time favorite guy. He reminds me so much of my husband. He is so hot and has so problem getting women. However, if he has to talk to them he just says the funniest things that come out wrong.

"She already has my heart. I would like for her to take my penis too. Is that so much to ask?"
This has got to be my all time favorite line of the book.

There is love, fighting, sex, and laughter all in the book. To make it better the authors went along with New Orleans being haunted in places =)

All around and amazing book! I hope there will be more.

This is an awesome book-funny, touching, and suspenseful.
Bella has worked for and lusted after her three bosses for a year. But she doesn't see them caring for her-until the night of her friend Kinley's wedding. The three men approach her, but their reaction the news of her virginity sends her running.
The three attorneys quickly find her, but can they overcome her insecurities? And can they keep her safe in the haunted New Orleans mansion that is left to her by her grandmother?
I found a new book boyfriend in Tate. Incredibly intelligent, but socially impossible, he is funny, caring, and willing to change for her.
Eric is also yummy. The jock of the trio, he is also the one most socially adept. He and Tate know that Bella is the one for them. Kellan, damaged in a previous relationship, isn't ready for a commitment. He deserves the head slaps he gets from the unseen inhabitants of the mansion.
This is a great read with terrific characters, well developed plot, and lots of humor and pathos combined.

OMG!!! Another amazing read. These two are unstoppable! I always feel like I'm in the room during whatever scene I'm reading. I hear what they hear, smell what they smell and wish to GOD I could REALLY feel what they feel but hey, I can read left handed! :)

I'm not big on the whinny women characters that you read about in most Alpha Male/BDMS books but our girl Belle is far from it. Independent and strong willed, she leaves her three super Swooney bosses after a misunderstanding and heads to the Big Easy where the recent death of her grandmother willed her a house. Together with 'Sir', her new furry, ahem, not so cute dog she sets out to make a life for herself.

Now…do you think our three bosses in question will allow that to happen? Hmmmm?? Three DOMS allowing their secretary to leave them and live in New Orleans….. alone? Right!!!
Enter Tate, Eric and Kellan (YUMMY). Three attorneys determined to win over our independent Belle. They're funny, smart, handsome and they're dominate. Ughhhhh. Totally felt that!

I lived in Louisiana (pronounced Looosiana) and Ive walked the streets of New Orleans. You can almost feel the paranormal activity around you and really enjoyed that detail in this book.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this book.
The attention to detail, character development, and storyline kept me interested and excited to turn every page. Again, I lost some sleep, skipped some meals and may or may not have skipped a shower.

Super adore both of these writers and look forward to their next project.

I loved this book just like all the other books in the series. You will feel the emotions in this book (again just like the others) - Annabelle works for three lawyers and she doesn't believe they like her or want anything with her and then one night Eric, Kellan and Tate hurt her and she leaves state. Needless to say her guys find her and do their best to make up for what happened.

I don't want to give out spoilers as you must read the story to get the full benefit out of it - trust me you won't regret it. You got the hot sex scenes and of course three men to take care of 1 woman :)

Great job to both authors. I clicked on the wrong link as this was not a Kindle edition - it was the paperback and I won the book from a book blog :)

I liked this recent installment in the series. I thought each of the men were better established characters in this book than in previous ones. Each had its own individual personality traits and as a result was much easier to keep track of in the story. I liked Annabelle too. While the required "virgin" in the story, she still had a backbone and wasn't easily swayed by the men. and the whole paranormal element to the story was a nice change too. Overall, not a bad read at all.

Shayna Renee's Spicy Reads TOP PICK of 2014!

So, I have come to the conclusion that Shayla Black and Lexi Blake can do no wrong. Writing together, or writing separately, these two are a freakin’ powerhouse! They constantly give us stories that are emotionally charged, and deliciously erotic. The Masters of Ménage Series is a series that will never disappoint. It’s a series that will keep you on your toes, and keep you fascinated the whole way through. Their Virgin Secretary is no exception to these facts. It was chock full of dialogue that will have you grinning from ear to ear, and sexual tension so high that it will have you contemplating a VERY cold shower.

All you pretty much have to know is that this book contains THREE very successful, very sexy, and VERY demanding lawyers. They all have been pining after their secretary/executive assistant/office manager ever since they laid eyes on her. Never making a move, only taking care of her in the background, they finally agree that it is time to take what’s theirs. When everything seems to be going as planned, a secret is revealed that has the power to change everything.

❝You’re our lovely Belle. Period.❞

Ok, there are a lot of parties involved in this ménage, so let’s break it down and learn a little about each character shall we?

First up, we have our heroine Belle, or ‘Annabelle’ when a certain Dom is putting his foot down. Belle is one of those people you would trust with all your secrets. She would be a perfect ‘best friend.’ She’s caring, loving, and full of devotion. She will never let you down, and always be there when you need her. She has touched each of her bosses lives and made it better somehow. Belle has spent a year falling in love with her bosses, but it will never be anything more. They have yet to make a move on her, and she deserves better. She wants something more out of life. She has dreams that she wants to go after, and she can’t fulfill these dreams while she is stuck in a law office, falling deeper in love with these stubborn men.

We have a lot of HEROES to get through, so let’s get started…

First up, we have my favorite (shhh..don’t tell the others) Tate Baxter. Tate is the lovable, honest, ‘nerd turned hottie.’ You will never know what will come out of that man’s mouth. He is so random and so hilarious, that I had tears coming out of my eyes from laughing so damn hard. After having a rough go of it growing up, always trying to live up to impossible expectations, he met Eric Cohen, and they helped each other become the incredible men they are today. After the first couple of chapters, you will be pleasantly surprised that this genius has a very dirty mouth, and it is SEXY AS HELL! Here, I will give you a little taste:

❝She already has my heart. I would like for her to take my penis too. Is that so much to ask?❞

Next, we have Eric Cohen. He was your typical jock growing up. He had a father with way to high expectations, and with every screw up, he heard about it, over and over again. After meeting Tate and having him help with his studies, he found out that he was so much smarter than he thought he could ever be. Tate helped him realize this, and it has made their friendship and bond that much stronger. Eric is the soother, the sweet-talker of the three, but he still holds so much inside. After getting to know Eric a little more, I came to the conclusion that he is the glue that holds the trio together.

❝You should be far more focused on all the pleasurably dirty things I plan to do to you. Want me to tell you about it?❞

And last, but certainly not least (or he will spank me) we have Kellan Kent, the Dom to end all Doms. He is so incredibly sexy, and so incredibly frustrating, it drove me crazy through the entire story. He is the one with a past that could destroy everything. Being burned by his ex-wife AND his family in the worst possible way, he has lost all hope in love and relationships. With that being said, Marriage is a VERY hard limit for Kellan. There is no question that he wants Belle. There is no question that he wants what’s best for his brothers. He knows that Tate and Eric want to make Belle all of theirs ASAP, but he is not ready, and he doesn’t know if he will every be. Sure, he can be there to lend a palm or his cock every once in a while, but he doesn’t think he is what Belle needs. See what I mean about the frustrating part :)

As you can see, Their Virgin Secretary is not short on amazing, beautiful, complex characters that will make you swoon, AND make you pull your hair out. These characters have parts of them that are broken, and are just looking at trying to find a way where everyone can be whole again. There will be struggles, there will be hesitations, but deep down all they need is the love and devotion of one another to start the healing process.

In conclusion, Their Virgin Secretary AND the entire series is a MUST READ for me. I devoured this book in one sitting, laughing, crying, and swearing along the way. This is Romantic Suspense at it’s best. There is no doubt in my mind, that you will not fall in love with these characters. There is no doubt in my mind that if you aren’t currently a fan, you will become one….for life. It’s stories like these, that made me fall in love with the genre.

This story was not on the level of previous books in this series. It seemed over-complicated as if it is menage-erotica with some sort of plot but it did not work. None of the characters except Tate seemed like fictional characters I would like to know. They were not LB's usual lovable characters. Then within the framework of the story too, nothing actually happens, not romance, hardly suspense, someone gets shot in the end, but who cares? It was so boring. I managed to finish it, so i give it 2 stars, but barely.

Excellent story of 3 misfit best friends who are hot, smart, healthy Dominant sexy men finding their forever woman in the same sexy, smart strong, submissive girl. Each character was full and interesting and I could completely relate to the connection each had with the other. Hot, romantic, sexy, heart pounding sex.. What's not to love?.

Always a good story from these ladies. Loved the back story to the romance. Glad she stuck to her guns and got what she needed from the relationship. The three guys were so fun and different. They made a perfect ménage of hotness

I really, really liked this book. I love a good interracial romance, and add to that three deliciously hot men, and you have a winner. Tate absolutely made this book for me. My only minute gripe is due to the fact that I am a participant of the BDSM lifestyle, I really wish these BDSM romance novelists would take more time to do their homework, or at least extend their research beyond Google and 50 Shades of Grey. There are so many facets to this lifestyle that are frequently either overlooked, used incorrectly, or used interchangeably. I know it makes for a good book, but the more and more BDSM books I read I can't help but wonder if these people have done any REAL research, or visited any REAL dungeons in their lifetime.

Even as a participant of the lifestyle, I conducted a Qualitative Ethnographic Study of Gender Relations and Human Sexuality and the Acts Performed in Spaces Dominated by the BDSM Community in the Southeast Region. My point? Clearly the authors don't know the difference between a Dominant, a Top, or a Master. At one point she used all three to describe these men. Participants of the lifestyle know that those things are very different just as the dynamics of their relationships. Why would those men refer to themselves as her Masters, but refer to her as their submissive? That's not the same thing, nor is it the same type of relationship. Maybe... just maybe... I'm being too picky. Don't get me wrong, the series is fabulous, I just noticed that a lot of these writers do the same thing. Are they Doms? Are they Tops? Are they Masters? You can't be all three. Just a little advice!
