I enjoy reading Susan Mallory books, & this looks promising but I hate these kind of books! They make the 1st free but if you want to read more you need to buy the rest. If they made this series into one novella then I'd have no problem buying it but breaking it up into several books is just a waste of my money

I enjoyed the story ok but I was disappointed in how short it was, how it ended and how I never really understood the guys with the guns. This is the first book I have read by Susan that I was not thrilled to read. I will not buy the next 2 in this series. I felt overcharged for so little .
The Friends We Keep: A Novel (Mischief Bay) :: All Summer Long (Fool's Gold Book 9) :: Just One Kiss (Fool's Gold, Book 11) :: Until We Touch (Fool's Gold, Book 17) :: Hold Me (Fool's Gold Book 18)

Wow I am so glad this showed up as recommendation. I never heard of this book. I instantly got hooked from the beginning. I enjoyed how this storyline is full of Suspense and mystery. This is definitely A MUST READ.

I wrote this not to bash ms. Mallory, but to hope it will keep others from using this tactic as it does indeed backfire.
