I liked Ocean Storms character, he had it really bad as a child with his little brother Rain but man the Shit his parents put him through even as an adult was really something else.
Kayla had a pretty hard time at home also but more so because her uppity parents needed to keep up with the Jones's and could not excerpt that their children needed to live their own lives. I hope Jo Raven writes a story giving her sister a happy ending with one of the family!

Ocean's back story is sad and what he is still going through tugs on the heartstrings, he needs rescuing and what better person to step in than kayla.

What you get with Ocean is the story of a damaged boy surrounded by a loving family of friends, great characters, humour, hot intimate moments a great plot a beautiful hea and oh it's so hot, did I say that already lol

Another great read yet again from Jo Raven who I felt stepped it up on the hotness and I loved it.

Arc received for an honest review
ocean's story is less bleak than seths so was more hopefull throughout the book.
However I came away after reading it that I still did not know who Ocean was fully!! Whether this is because we saw less of him in the prior books that lead up to this book I am not sure.
It is classic Jo Raven well written lots of descriptives I just didn't feel as connected to him as to her other characters in the other books I liked Kayla her home life is probably the most normal but she has still had issues.

It was a good read just not 5 stars for me

Jo Raven has done it again!
Ocean was a wonderful heartwrenching story. I love all the Damage Control boys, but Ocean really touched my heart. He had such a big heart and would do anything for the people he loved. Ocean's childhood was heartbreaking, he had to grow up way to fast and his parents were horrible. I loved Ocean and Kay, they were a wonderful couple. Kay helped Ocean believe that he deserved to be loved. Ocean was a very emotional read,I laughed and I cried, it broke my heart and then put it back together again.
I really Loved this book and highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Jo Raven for another amazing book!
I recieved an arc of this book for my honest opinion.

Ocean or Blue is my newest favorite book of Jo Raven. Ocean is one of the damaged boys who didn't have a great childhood. He is captivated with Kayla and she calms him when she around, but he thinks he's not lovable and if she found out his past she wouldn't want anything to do with him. Which is so not true this boy has a heart of gold.. Boy was he wrong Kayla has wanted Blue for ages. This story is so heartfelt and I devoured it in one sitting. Great Read!

Omg! This book is absolutely amazing!!! I have loved each and every book Jo has written, but I think this just might be my favorite, or close to it. Ocean will break your heart and make it whole again. His struggle is just as heartbreaking as the rest of the books. Have the Kleenex ready while reading this book. It is cool that we get to catch up with the rest of the gang. It is sad to think this is the last of them. Hopefully she will write something else with these characters in it... If you have or haven't read the rest of the book, you need to read this one.

Each one of these boys’ stories is absolutely heartbreaking. They are truly the Damaged Boys.
Ocean is known as the happy one, the easy going guy of the group but that is just a mask he has worn. Underneath it all he is heartbroken and weary. Desperate for love and affection. His parents were never there for him or his brother, they left them to fend for themselves. Then threw them both away. But despite that, Ocean still tries to take care of them, even if it hurts himself.
Kayla is the quirky friend of Ev and Amber. She wears bright colors, has bright hair, and reads palms and tarot cards. She is happy and content on the outside, but inside she is afraid of love and believing in that one person for you happily ever after. Her parents suffocated her creativity when she was growing up, they didn’t believe what she wanted to do. They were controlling and set in their own beliefs.
Kayla has had a crush on Ocean since she met him. He has wanted her since he met her. But he doesn’t believe he is good enough and she doesn’t think he could want her. Even after things happen with them again and again, neither can get self- doubt out of the way long enough to see what could be really beautiful between them.
When Ocean’s past comes back to try and take everything from him, Kayla has to step up and decide to believe in them and protect what is hers or possibly lose it forever.
Ocean was so sweet, so broken but still had the biggest heart and wonderful giving soul. It was hard to see him tearing himself down all for the sake of people who didn’t deserve it.
Kayla was just a beautiful spirit. Yes, she had doubts, but she didn’t exactly have great role models growing up. She fought for her friends, even her family who didn’t fight for her.
Together they were whole. They needed one another to have the peace they deserved.

I received an ARC for an honest review. I loved Ocean. Like really. He is probably my favorite Damaged Boy besides Shane and Seth. Kayla is just amazing. She compliments Ocean so well and Ocean aka Blue, while having his own issues tries his very best to get through his struggles. Now were there times I wanted to hit him and Kayla a few times, sure, but that added to their complexity and made them all that more lovable.

These Damage Control books get better and better. Loved Ocean, with his blue hair, tats, and generous helpful personality. But, he is broken and riddled with guilt over the death of his sister. He meets Kayla. She wants to get to know him and more. They shine together. Great couple, each with their own past and problems. Can Ocean forgive himself and make a future with Kayla? One-click and see what happens. You won't be disappointed. Jo Raven has nailed another great read. Can't wait to read the next one

`Blue loves Kay`- that phrase said it all for me! From a boy from the wrong side of the tracks to a girl with a personality to revel her love of colours - Jo Raven has done it again!! Kayla is a free spirit that sees something in Ocean that she can't put her finger on, but boy does she want to feel him until she gets her intuition right. The tarrots are never wrong after all. Ocean has led a battered and bruised life - trying to help raise his younger brother and keep himself going at the same time, trying to do what's right. There's something about Kayla that he can't forget. She makes him feel calm, safe and cherished. Kayla`s Simple gift of the shirts she made for Ocean made him realize how much she cared. When things come to a head and ocean thinks she'll bail, he's proven wrong about how love will keep her by his side. I love how she's willing to stick by his side and take him to visit his family, then hold him afterwards and make sure he was alright. True love isn't lost in the cards- it's been in the palm of oceans hand all along

Loved it. As always a well written story with fabulous characters and a great story line,
Ocean, damaged by a loveless family upbringing, always helping people, his own family included.
Kayla, colourful, happy and believer in fate.
Their story pulls you in and doesn't let you go. It's happy, sad and pulls at your heartstrings. A definite must 5**** star read.

I'll be the first to admit that I am a huge fan of Jo Raven's books and her boys will always be in my heart. But Ocean... Ocean has crashed into it and set up camp. He's beautifully broken and she's just amazing. Once again Jo Raven has created perfectly believable characters that have you rooting for them from the first word.

This was a brilliant yet bittersweet ending to the series and I am just not ready to let go!

This is a must read for anyone that has any kind of emotions!

Omgosh, this series can't be over. I pray you have an epilogue book for them. We need a completion for all the damage boys. Maybe more from the brotherhood too. Certainly something on Joel and Jason, and Raine and Colt. Please??!!
This story was very tender and interesting. The storyline was deep and intriguing. Both characters, Ocean and Kayla complimented each other.

I think Ocean is my favorite! I love someone who does for others before themselves. Ocean had my heart with his past. Kayla had a life of prim and proper. Atleast that's how I look at it. Growing up with parents being together just to save face, she doesn't believe in love. I didn't think would hold true in this story. I did laugh everytime she would queation whether she did have a crush on Ocean or not. This was amazing. I can't wait for more.

We finally get to the story of the quiet tattoo artist at Damage Control – Ocean Storm! First, let me just say that this cover is my favorite out of the whole series, possibly all of Jo Raven’s books! I think she totally captured the essence of Ocean in the photo. I love the blue hair and how his face is half in shadows totally fits with the storyline.

Ocean hasn’t had the easiest life growing up in a trailer park where no one really seemed to care if he lived or died. He’s been through more heartache and pain in his short lifetime than others’ will ever experience. He blames himself for an accident and for trying to do what was right for his brother at the time which has allowed the guilt to fester and consume his soul. While everyone around him knows him as the social butterfly, he’s really leading two lives. On the weekends, he disappears into the past and becomes Blue. Blue is whom he chose after the hellish life he had to lead as a kid. Now, if only he could merge his two worlds and end up with the best of both.

Kayla is truly a vibrant and spunky woman who loves to surround herself with color. She grew up in a very sheltered home where her parents did not like how eccentric she was. In their minds, she was too colorful, outspoken and original. This left her parents with a bad taste in their mouth and could never understand why she wasn’t “normal.” She escaped her parents and moved to Madison to be swept up into the group at Damage Control. She now has a group of friends who accept her as she is and she’s allowed to let her light shine brightly with her fascination of palm reading and reading tarot cards. She’s also quiet talented at making clothes! Meeting this interesting group of people has shown her that love can come in many different ways, as they accepted her with open arms and never once judged her. And moving to Madison also gave her something that she was drawn to the moment she laid eyes on him – Ocean Storm.

This story deals with a lot of emotional baggage. Ocean has issues that he holds close to the vest because he’s never thought himself worthy enough to be loved or taken care of. He was never shown what being loved meant as a child. He also believes that his mistakes will never allow him to be truly happy so he continues to punish himself for something he didn’t have any control over. He thinks he has to run back to the past away from the only people who’ve ever shown him what family and love truly mean. Kayla seems to break down the walls that he’s built around himself and he’s finally allowing someone inside his dark and twisted past, but will their attraction and connection be enough to save him? Can Ocean finally trust his secrets with someone else? Will Kayla love him unconditionally even after he tells her the truth?

I absolutely love Ocean! He is one of my favorite characters that Jo Raven has given us. Kayla is definitely the girl for Ocean! Jo Raven does a great job weaving their emotional story together and showing us how sometimes things are just meant to be with your soulmate. I can truly feel the push and pull between Ocean and Kayla as I read the words on the page. The emotional turmoil is palpable and the love is breathtaking.

Another great addition to the Damage Control series!

I loved this book! When it was over i wanted more, not because the story needed anything but because I was not ready to leave Ocean and Kayla. Jo brought in all the other guys from the Inked series and The Damage series plus most of the girls and even a cameo appearence herself! This one truly showed you how much of a family these boys (and their women) really are. The icing on the cake was the beautiful love story that unfolds between Ocean and Kayla. Love makes us better and these 2 prove it over and over!!

This is the 5th book in the Damage Control series and I wasn't dissapointed. I really liked the story of Kayla and Ocean, seeing their friendship blossom into something more. the way Ocean struggled with his past and Kayla trying to help him, drew you in even more. loved their chemistry. not only hot but sweet too.
It was definitely worth the read and I am hoping for Jason and Raine's story next :-)

Ocean Storm is a damaged Inked Boy. He is excellent at inking but horrible with human relationships. You can thank his parents for that. You can also thank his parents for pulling the ultimate con on him and breaking his heart. What is going to save him is Kay and the Damage Control Brotherhood.

I recieved an ARC for an honest review. I have enjoyed reading all the Damage Corntrol books. Ocean was always the fun loving happy guy of the series. This book shows how he was actually struggling. His connection with Kayla was easily felt and I liked how Ms Raven didn't always show Ocean as a perfect gentleman. He screws up and is human. I think that is one reason I enjoy her books so much. People aren't perfect and she doesn't write them that way. I totally recommend this book.

Ocean Storm is A Damage Contol tattoo artist and has a very anguished life. He thinks he ruins everything he touches . A sad little boy who meets a sunshine girl , Kayla. She fills his life with colours, it's sweet, soft , enveloping love story. Touches your heart in a way that you wanna hide him in your embrace so his pain goes away .
I'd love to read about Raine in next book

This one is a hard review, because even though I was sucked in the story as always with the books of this author I just couldn't really connect with Ocean. He was a little bit distanced all the time, nevertheless I really liked how his girl helped him get through it and I absolutely hope that his brother will get his own story some time.

This book literally had me dreaming of "blue hair and blue eyed babies"!! They say family isn't always those you share blood with and Oceans story I think epitomizes that in he best of ways! Jo Raven did such a fabulous job of showing that and making you feel everything. Don't want to give anything away but you won't be sorry... Be ready to feel it all (as per usual if you've read the other books!) Love it!!!!

I received this book as an ARC... This book was amazing. Ocean is sweet dark boy who has such a pure heart even if he doesn't think so. Kayla is quirky fun and so happy all the time even bough her family is very conservative. These two fall in love after some back and forth and missed signals and it's beautiful. They are perfect for each other! Absolutely loved this book!!!

You will feel so bad for Ocean. To have parents that suck that much. Thank goodness he gets picked to be one of the Damage boys. That saves him from his demons. Then there's Kayla. A true free spirit that helps him free those demons. Young love and happiness abounds. Plenty of angst and feelings. This series is a must read.

I loved Ocean. He's mysterious and damaged. I have enjoyed all of Jo's books and eagerly awaited this one. I thought Kayla was a brilliant character who was well developed. I'm hoping for a side story for Raine and Jason but that's just me.
If you enjoy beautiful, damaged boys then this is the story for you. The format is similar to the other Damage books so you know what you're getting from Jo. If you've not read the Damage Boys or Inked Brotherhood then you definitely should. I couldn't put this story down and Blue managed to break my heart. You must read this book.

Let me start off by saying I love this series, and the one that came before it Jo Raven always make you feel so many emotions when reading her books that begin said i couldnt however connect with Ocean at all I would have love a back story on his time on the street. I didnt feel like the reader was not given enough and even his story wasn't as bad as it seem. In the end it was a hit and miss for me but i will still read book from this author.

Really enjoyed reading about Ocean and Kayla. I felt like his story didn't focus totally on the negative aspect about his life like some of the other books in this series. He really was a good guy trying to help everyone...glad his friends were there to support him in the end. Good story!

I loved all the boys from the Inked Brotherhood and their ladies. The Damaged Boys were just as good. I hate to see the stories end but they all pulled on your heart strings. I would love to read the book for Raine and Jason. Look forward to the next story, Hawk following Storm's book.

Ocean : Vulnerable, damaged, broken.
Kay: Cheerful, colorful, intuitive.

Both sweet, giving and selfless. Always showing concern for their family and friends, even if they had little left for themselves

Both in love with each other, they tried their best to deny their feelings, but fought for it in the end. Because however the situation is, Kay loves Blue and Blue loves Kay.

This book had so much love among friends who treat each other like family, it's heartwarming. And Ocean and Kay's love for their respective families and for each other was very admirable.

This book also took me to vibrantly written settings, from the chaos of the tattoo shop, to the poverty of the trailer park , to underwater life and death situation, and the energy of the race track.

I enjoyed this book. It has a lot of tearjerkers because Ocean is a broken man whose hair may be blue, but he has a heart of gold. And Kay added more color to his life, so it had lots of fun times, too. And in this book, there were lots of tattoos on hot bodies , some racing, many interesting tarot card readings, super sexy times and perfect unconditional love. This was a fantastic sweet read!

An advanced copy was given to me in exchange for an honest and fair review.

Ocean's books is such a great read, I loved every single bit of it.

It starts of with Kayla she is so eccentric I love her especially her hair. She is a free spirit who ran from a strict background. Her back story is not too harsh but it does make her who she is today. She has had a thing for Ocean for sometime and finally decided she needed to act on it. She had no idea she would find a broken boy who needed to be fixed.

Ocean he has a horrible background story and is wound up so tight by the stress he has weighed on his shoulders. I fell he'd over heels for this man he is just that perfect amount of bad boy whom you know you can't stay away from.

When Ocean lets his feeling show for Kayla the sparks fly and even though there is a steep heel to climb the two are made for each other, Jo seriously made the dynamic of there relationship perfect!

New characters are introduced and can't wait to see what comes of them!
A MUST READ

Received this book as an ARC in return for an honest review.

Ocean was one of my most anticipated books of this year. Written in Dual POV of both Kayla and Ocean it really allowed us to get to know both these beautiful characters. Kayla was brought up in a well to do family but didn't fit into their mould and Ocean is a guy from the other side of the tracks but is always willing to help his friends and family.

Having read all Jo Ravens books I was a little worried that maybe there wasn't anything new for the plot but I was wrong. Ocean is by far my favourite Damage Control boy and I think Kayla is his perfect girl.

Getting this book is a little bitter sweet as now all the Damage boys have had their story and I don't really want to let them go. Maybe Jo will give us some Novellas so we can see how everything pans out for these beautifully damaged boys and the girls who put them back together.

Wow, another heart breaking story. I don't know how Jo Raven does it. I truly love the whole series from Ink brotherhood to damage control. All the boys stories where tragic and horrific in there own way but at the end to be strong enough to come up and stand up straight and to be surrounded by true friendship and true love of good women was amazing.?

Ocean and Kayla are another amazing couple. Ocean just sounded dreamy and I love the color blue so this guy had he perfect name and hair. Kayla is so free spirit and colorful in her attitude and fashion, she is perfect for Ocean. Totally recommend ALL the series?

Wow...a well deserved five stars for Ocean and Kayla's story, the last in the Damage Control series, and Jo really has done it again for me, she gives you a heart breaking story about a quiet blue haired tattooist, and the quirky girl who steals his heart, Jo brings out so many emotions with her writing, and this book has taken me on a rollercoaster of them, starting from page one...I read this book in one go, as it was simply impossible to put down, great read.

Ocean and Kayla have wanted each other before they even realized it themselves. But Ocean's past keeps his present haunted. He covers it with always smiling and joking. But inside is sadness and regret. Kayla is as colorful as Ocean, with her hair, clothes and outright style. Although her past doesn't rival Ocean's, there is a separation between herself and her parents. A gap she feel her sister has been drug into and she desperately wants to pull her out. I am so hoping Jo Raven finds a way to continue this incredibly moving, emotional love story. This series has been phenomenal. One of the best I've ever read. 5 stars doesn't cut it, deserves several more.

I was looking forward to reading Ocean. He was good not great but good. I've read about Jo Raven's boys since Asher came out and it never fails to disappoint. I was kind of hoping for more of a story on him and where he's come from. But I did enjoy seeing these two fall for each other.
I can say this book is worth readying and don't pass it up you won't be sorry.
This is an honest review for an ARC received by the author.

This was a great way to finish these boys! What a great way to show that even though you look like the happy go lucky guy looks can be deceiving. Breaks my heart to hear how Ocean grew up and what he had to do for him and his little brother to survive! Jo does not disappoint!
