I really liked this book. I love the singing contest shows, and I always wondered about the "behind the scenes" details. I thought it was relevant and very readable. Great characters and story line!

As always, Karen Kingsbury wrote a book that keeps you wanting the best for the main character and you watch the human temptations and how others are used as God's vessels for redemption. I loved this book. The music competition was a great vehicle for the plot.

This book will keep you wanting to turn the pages but dreading to get to the end. The presence of God is truly in this book. The real life hope, yearning and failing will tug at your heart. I truly love the message that God is in control and he knows the beginning and the end. Thanks for a beautiful book Karen Kingsbury.

I have always loved Karen's books, specifically because she is not only a good story teller, but addresses relevant/difficult subjects that most authors won't write about. We are living in a broken world, that is getting worse all of the time. It is so important to deal with today's problems, and insert the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Karen does this better than any author I know.

I have read lots of Karen Kingsbury books and this by far, is the best. I loved it. My heart broke for Reese and Dylan's parents when Dylan left for Atlanta and then again when he was in New York. It opened my eyes for what fame looks like and the cost.
This is page turner!

Kept you wondering how things were going to end.. It kept you wondering if he was going to stay true to his Lord and Saviour. He comprised some, but in the end he made the right choices. I would highly recommend it..

This was my least favorite K. Kingsbury book because of the setting. The human challenge of seeking fame, money or other objectives is obvious!
Pitfalls abound...and people are susceptible to what seems attractive. Looking at human weaknesses is not pleasant.

Karen does it again.she creates fictitious characters with real life struggles. I read the reviews from several others and have to agree the story line is very similar to the Bailey Flanigan series. I was hoping for something new and different. Still a good read.

I wait for the newest books and am never disappointed. It is so easy to be distracted from God and his best for our lives. The stories are always pertinent to our everyday situations. Thanks again for a great book.
