The story was well told. Facts and fiction was blended together to make the perfect story. The characters, plots have you sigh when the end of the book. The story does not end as you frantically search to purchase the next in line.

After reading the Blood Gospel I was anxious to get the second book, Innocent Blood. Sometimes the following books in a series just don't compare to the original and I come away a bit disappointed. Not so with Innocent Blood. It's every bit as intriquing as the original. Love the characters and the twists and turns of the story. If you haven't read the first book you're missing out on a good series.

Started off a little slower than the rest of James Rollins novels, but this one quickly picked up pace and didn’t stop. If you like his novels you will like this one too. I can’t wait for the final book in this series.

I find the series interesting, I've never been into the whole vampire thing but I guess this is different. It has a good story, great characters and interesting locations. I find I can't wait to finish it then I'm sorry when its over. I can't wait for the next one!!

I have to say the only thing disappointing about this book is that you have to wait for another book to come out so you can see how the story will end. Overall good flow and good characters. Keeps moving along.

James, I've enjoyed all your books and hesitated to buy it because I love the Sigma series so much I didn't know how I would like this book. I would like to see what the next book in this series will entail.

Started the second in the series accidently. Went back to this book half way through. Very enjoyable. If you had asked me prior to reading this if I would open a book dedicated to vampires in the service of Christ, I would have scoffed. So happy I read this!

Since Mr. Rollins has been writing with Ms. Cantrell, they have come up with a very thoughtful and highly interesting concept. If you are into vampires, it is definitely for you. Makes you kind of wonder.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was hesitant to read this series due to the fact that there were two authors, but I hope there will be more books from them in the future. I love how they built a story line around biblical facts. The first book in this series left me hanging so I was glad to read this book. It all makes sense now. Any James Rollins fan will love this series.

Rollins novels are so authentic that you can believe the tale is real and non fiction. Once he has your attention you can't wait to get to the next page and the next etc. I have amassed all of his books in First Edition and return to read them over again.

I love James Rollins' books. I have introduced them to my family and they love them too. This makes you think about what is good and what is evil and how easy it can be to confuse the two. Terrific read. I'm on to the next book in the series.

Rollins and Cantrell continue the adventures initiated in Blood Gospel. This is a fast-paced, fascinating adventure depicting a confrontation between Priestly consecrated blood drinkers and other threats to our world. Excellent book.

What can I say James Rollins never disappoints. This union with Rebecca Cantrell for the Sanguines Series was a perfect match. I love these characters. The book was well written and exciting. I can't wait till the next installment and would recommend it to anyone who likes to read thrillers. This will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat.

The action just keeps going in this installment of the Order of the Sanguines series. Great characters and great "ride." If you are a Bible scholar, you will have to ignore a few inaccuracies, but hey!--it's fiction!

James and Rebecca have met above and beyond my expectations on the 2nd book in this series.... can't wait for the next one! I didn't think I would love it almost as much as the Sigma series but I do!!!!

This second in the Sanguines Series has some twist and turns that were unexpected. I really like James Rollins as an author especially his Sigma force series. This series is compelling and thought provoking mixing traditional religious ideas with supernatural. Very inventive and some surprises. I look forward to next one. Only problem there is a long wait for next one.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was great entertainment, well written, and just plain fun. I think the authors make a great team. I am hooked on this series and I generally don't bother with books about immortal creatures and super sized animals, but I really like both of the books that have come out so far.

Vampires who believe in Jesus!?! Give it a chance! There seems to be a run of vampire novels and television shows that present all different versions of vampires. This take is more fun and has some major deliverance!
