This series just keeps getting better and better.
Don't Judge a Girl by her Cover presents a more exciting and twisty plot than the first two books. It is also what I'd like to call "kind of Macey's book". Macey is actually one of the characters that we didn't really get to know. I love that in this book we see a lot more side to her and get a feel of the life she has outside of the walls of the Gallagher Academy. Macey grew in me in this book. She's a total kickass and her boy advice would never let one down. She's fun, a smartass (which, if you ask me, is a common trait for spies) and just not your average rich, bratty girl. We'll definitely get to know more about her and I enjoy reading her "boy trouble" side. I think that she's definitely highlighted in this book and I just added her to my list of favorite characters of the series.

But of course, that is not all. There are so many great things about the book that made it all the more exciting and enjoyable to read. To name a few - aunt Abby is just the coolest spy (aside from Joe Solomon that is)...

-----
"She's bloody awesome!"
Then, without turning around, Abby called, "I bloody know."
-----

Zach is just as enigmatic and adorable...

-----
"There's a boy I my life," I told him. "He's a very bad influence."
Then Zach nodded. "Bad boys have a way of doing that. But they're worth it."
-----

and there's definitely more trouble and mystery for the spies-in-training Cam, Liz, Bex and Macey. Can I just say I never, ever get tired of reading their Covert Operations Report?

Romance, action, adventure, mystery and fun all packed into one - another book addition on the series no one should miss!

This book is a departure from the first two books in the series, in both plot and mood, and the change wasn't a welcome one. The other two books have been more 'offensive' in nature, where Cammie and her friends get to tackle bad guys and cute boys using skills they are learning at the top secret Gallagher Girl spy school. This book is more 'defensive' as Cammie, and more so, Macey have to defend their lives against unknown foes that are trying to kidnap the vice-president's daughter. And, it turns out the girls aren't nearly so good at defense, especially when it's personal. The mood in this book is different, too, and just the opposite of the first two. This book was a downer. The girls are very depressed and unsure of themselves in an almost stifling way. They very quickly surrender to their victimization.

That is probably my main complaint with this book. I thought the first two were such good books for the girls in my classroom, so full of power and independence. But this one is more a lesson in letting your fear overcome you.

Another sore point-this book is more about Cammie's BFF Macey than about Cammie herself. Cammie almost seems like an interested bystander. If Macey told more of the story, it might have worked better. Also, there was no real romance here but it may lead the way for a strange new romance in the next installment.

Still, I liked the book and really like this series. These books must be read in order to really make sense. I hope the next one gets back on track.

This is a great addition to the Gallagher Girl series by Ally Carter. The main focus is no longer on Cammie, but we are still told a great story through her eyes.

It's all about Macey. Who is she really? It has only been one year since she started at the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women and she is already a brilliant spy. We finally get to know Macey. She isn't just the boy decoding, rich girl. She can switch back and forth between the new spy Macey and the old snippy Macey in a blink of an eye. She is truly exceptional. So, is that why people are after her? You will have to read to find out....

The big question everyone is probably asking is, "Does Zach make an appearance?" I'll get to that, but isn't he so swoon worthy? I sure think so. I mean, who didn't think it was cute when he pointed to himself and said, "Spy," every time Cammie asked him a question about how he knew something. But, the answer is he is often mentioned by Cammie. She thinks he is following her, or at least hiding around every corner out of sight.

This was a great book! I don't think I will ever get tired of these spies. Let's just hope no one gets hurt....

Oh, before I finish this review, I want to share my favorite line from this book. You ready for it? Here it is...."And that's how a chameleon was saved by a peacock."

Once again, Ally Carter treats us to a magnificent read. We are forever guessing who the enemies are and what motives they have. Filled with twists and heart-stopping moments, Don't Judge A Girl By Her Cover is as mysterious and action-packed as things get!

When a political convention ends in a kidnapping attempt, Cammie's beliefs about her life and training are turned upside down. Pair that with Zach's mysterious appearances here and there, and we have a book that will mess with our brains. I really enjoyed seeing outside forces begin to penetrate Cammie's safe little bubble at Gallagher Academy. It made the novel seem more realistic and brought a sense of maturity and seriousness to it, as opposed to the more lighthearted (but still amazing) previous novels. In saying that, I must admit I missed the upbeat characters we're used to. With the world's eyes on them and with kidnappers milling about, the girls are restrained and lack their usual freedom. Cammie doesn't seem like herself when she isn't misbehaving!

What can we excited about? Well...Cammie's aunt, Abby, comes to Gallagher Academy to act as Macey's personal bodyguard. They couldn't just let a civilian into the place, you know! I loved seeing an older Gallagher Girl and how this sisterhood is truly for life. Abby is one of those authoritative figures with a streak of naughty, so she and her niece get along perfectly. Abby has a little secret though...can you guess what it is?

Despite the change from the series' usual mood, this novel was still enjoyable. It's fast-paced and will keep you thoroughly entertained with all of the different storylines from the previous books coming into play. Questions are answered...new ones are posed... It's a never-ending circle!

I've read the entire series, and this book starts you off on what the main idea of all of them is.
(No it's not just a bunch of innocent, love-crazy girls going on spy missions. There is an actual plot behind these stories)

Cammie goes to go visit Macy on her father's campaign trail and, well, let's just say it's a good thing they're spies

Now Cammie and Macy are the center of attention at their school, and not only in the good way. Someone new (Cammie knows her) comes to the school to watch over these girls, and she keeps a VERY good eye on them.

But why do they need this new person?
You'll just have to read.

If you don't feel convinced then let me tell you, later in this series Cammie will follow in her dad's footsteps (ALL his footsteps), she will break in and out of some very serious nation buildings, and have her mind tampered with. These books so far may seem like they are for pre-teens but the writing grows with you and by the end you feel like you're reading adult literature.

Don't quit! Read this one and all the others, you won't regret it.

Cammie couldn't be more excited to visit her roommate Macey McHenry in Boston to watch the official nomination of the presidential and vice presidential candidates. But Cammie's end of summer turns out to be a little too exciting when Macey is nearly kidnapped. As the new school year at Gallagher Academy starts up, Cammie can't forget what happened in Boston. She's just not the same anymore, not after an attack like that. She can't shake the feeling of how close the girls were to losing to their assailants. But Cammie is not one to go down without a fight, and when the threat against Macey becomes realer than ever, she knows she must take matters into her own hands. With the help of her best friends Bex and Liz, Cammie sets out to learn the truth of why Macey is being pursued--but the truth may be more twisted and personal that Cammie is prepared for.

I just loved Carter's I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You and Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy. Those spy stories are full of flirty fun and awesome spy tricks, but while those may be better classified as "guilty pleasures" or "romances," there is no doubt that Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover is a thriller. Carter takes her spy stories to the next level in this novel by embroiling the Gallagher girls in a mysterious plot. There isn't as much flirting and romance in here as there is espionage, sneaking around, secrets, and danger. I have to say I really like this change. The boy escapades were fun, but adding in danger that's closer to home for the Gallagher girls greatly helped develop particularly Cammie's character. I immensely enjoyed this super spy novel and look forward to the continuation of the Gallagher girls' spy adventures.

Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover will be enjoyed by fans of its two prequels, I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You and Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy as well as by those who liked Model Spy by Shannon Greenland and the Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz.

After spending most of her summer vacation in Nebraska, Cammie Morgan is ready to do something a little more exciting. Traveling to Boston to spend some time with her roommate Macey McHenry and to watch Macey's dad accept his party's vice presidential nomination seems like the perfect last hurrah before the start of junior year at Gallagher. And the trip is everything Cammie expected - until the attack on the roof. The kidnappers are well trained and determined, but Macey and Cammie are Gallagher girls. They manage to escape - slightly bruised, a little bit broken and wholly shaken.

Once the girls are back at school, Cammie can't help reliving what happened on the hotel roof in Boston. Replaying it over and over again in her mind. Someone is after Macey, but who is it and why? Cammie, Bex and Liz are determined to keep Macey safe but something doesn't feel right and Cammie isn't sure what it is. Adding to the confusion, faces from Cammie's past are resurfacing in the most unexpected places. When the girls finally uncover the truth, will they be ready for it?

Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover is the third Gallagher Girls book and this is where the series really starts to hit its stride. The humor and fun are still an integral part of the story, but now the action is more intense and the danger more dramatic. Cammie's character really grows from a girl to a young woman; she is at once more confident and more unsure. Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover was engrossing throughout. I was truly on the edge of my seat.

Coming from an amazing author and an amazing series, I had HUGE expectations for this novel. It was horrible! What happened Ally???

Cammie was a whole different person. What happened to the fun, spunky, strong girl we got to know in the first 2 books? She is now a whiney brat who only talks about her boyfriend (if you can even call him that) and has the brain capacity of a worm. It's always Zach this and Zach that. She almost gets herself killed because she's worried about Zach! Speaking of Zach, what the hell is wrong with him? He's become a typical annoying teen YA novel male character. Appears out of nowhere, makes mysterious comments and just disappears. Again. And again. And again.

The plot was so confusing! I didn't understand ANYTHING that was going on! What is "the circle"?? This crap was introduced out of nowhere and not elaborated on at all throughout the entire book! There was a lot of action, it was very fast paced, but its not that exciting when you don't know who's on which team. And especially when you don't know why they are fighting. I was clueless the whole book. That has never happened before and hopefully it will never happen again. Once I finish the book, I'd like to look back and be able to know what I just read. Which did not happen for this one.

The writing wasn't too bad. It was worse than Ally Carter normally is, but it was decent. A lot better than many other writers out there. And was even worse than usual! I have always said AC's endings suck, but this one was just impossible.

This was a huge disappointment :( I hope the next will be better, but I won't get my hopes up again (I know better than to make that mistake again).

Summary: The third book in the Gallagher Girls series finds Cammie Morgan involved in a presidential campaign when her schoolmate Macey's father is running for vice president. When Cammie and Macey escape a kidnapping attempt, Cammie and the rest of the Gallagher Girls must protect Macey from those wishing to attack her. Old secrets are revealed, and the Cammie realizes Macey was not the intended target of the kidnapping...she was.

My thoughts: I bought book four in this series, and I decided to reread book three before starting book four. I LOVE this series. The book's plot moves along swiftly with several twists, turns, and surprises. Ally Carter plans her novels out carefully, and the end product reflects that thought as characters are fully developed, the plot twists aren't contrived or expected, and the events are realistic (as realistic as having teens perform spy missions can be). There's also a little bit of age-appropriate romance involved. (I can't wait to see what happens next with Zach!)

As I've said about every Ally Carter book, I respect how she treats the young adult character. The girls are strong and intelligent. I'm tired of books that show teen girls as superficial and concerned only with materials things. Although the Gallagher Girls are fictional, they are good role models for young girls who have big dreams--work hard and work together.
I recommend this series to all teens and preteens. I let my sister borrow the series, and she's hooked too. So, it's a great series for a mom and daughter to read together.

I love the Gallagher Girls series and after reading this book it's obvious that I love Ally Carter.

As always, in Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover the author manages to write a new and interesting story with the same characters.

I love Cammie. She's an excellent protagonist in YA books, really. I love her friends too. She's strong, intelligent and with a good heart. And I really like her romance with Zach, because she likes him very much but isn't as the usual ya character, who is ready to give her life just to be with him. He's mysterious and probably a suspect, by the way! Of course I always complain about their relationship because I want more of them, but it's refreshing.

I don't want to give spoilers but Macey is in danger and Cammie is there to help her when she was going to be kidnapped. The mystery in this book is really good, and I discovered I'd be a very bad spy. The ending left me extremely surprised! I wasn't expecting this turn at all.

Overall, I enjoyed very much Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover, and the Gallagher Girls series is definitely one of my favorites! If you are looking for a fresh chick lit YA series, this one is perfect. Really, what is cooler that girl learning to be spies?

I've been procrastinating doing this review for few days now... It isn't because it was a bad book, quite the contrary actually! I loved it! It is the perfect blend of boarding school drama, spies, romance, and mystery! It is just difficult to write a review for this book without saying: "Go read the first two!" I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You and Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy are both amazing books, but I think that this may have been my favorite one so far!

Cammie's aunt is a present throughout this installment of the series. Not only was she a pretty awesome character, I welcomed the knowledge and glimpses she gave the reader into Cammie's family and past. I feel like we will find out even more about that in the next book.

Speaking of the next book - I need to know what happens with Cammie and the guy in her life! I can't even give a name because if you haven't read book one and two, I don't want to ruin it for you! I'm totally in love with their love story. It is important to point out at this point that I am pretty much obsessed with the show Alias - so obsessed that I own all 5 seasons and have watched them multiple times. I may have cried when I watched the last episode... :S Ally Carter's Gallagher Girls books are basically Alias for a little bit younger crowd. Vaughn and Sydney from Alias? I'm as obsessed with Cammie and her love interest as I was with Vaughn and Sydney. There is just so much TENSION!

My Thoughts: We are once again introduced to the girls and their adventures! Except this time, there is real danger! They are not so much learning now, they are actually helping their friend out! Macey is in real trouble! Someone wants to hurt her and will do anything to achieve this goal!
I don't want to give too many spoilers for this one! You just need to read it if you haven't. Read the other two first! So, what is the symbol Cammie knows she has seen before? Why does someone want to hurt Macey? I really enjoyed reading this book. But I really wanted to see Zach more. Is he on Cammie's side or is he really working for the enemy? He was always around the corner somewhere but I just felt like I wanted a little more romance between him and Cammie. I wanted more talking, more kissing, and more interaction! The best part of this book was the ending! It made me want to read the next book which does not come out for half a year! I was surprised at the ending. I was not expecting that to happen! I just really hope Zach is around more in the next book!

Overall: Really liked it but wanted more Zach Zach Zach.

The Gallagher Girl series is one of my favorites. They're packed with action but are also realistic in the drama/romance/friendship department. Don't Judge a Girl is no different.

From the first page on, the action never ends. There's always a new twist coming, something that you never imagined coming. But it's not just the running/fighting action - there's always a new situation with a boy or with her friends that always change the circumstances.

Don't Judge a Girl is my favorite in the series so far because you get to see a new side of her friends. They become more real, their lives outside of school become more important, and you get to see more of what makes them tick. We also get to see more of the guys and there's definitely some unexpected twists in that department. I won't give anything away but it does get interesting.

The end leaves you wanting more but unfortunately, we're going to have to wait a while for Book 4. I definitely recommend this series to anyone looking for a little adventure

The third book in the series is definitely a shocker with so many twists and turns that the reader will not know the truth until the very end. A worthwhile read in the series and very rewarding to readers who want to learn more about Cami and the secrets hidden in her and her family's past. Secrets that would rather stay buried, but someone wants them out. One thing I learned from this book is that you really cannot judge a girl by her cover or what she portrays, because it could be nothing or the truth. But who would know? Only the girl behind the cover. The fourth book should be just as explosive.

Gallagher girls series is absolutely AMAZING!! I'm a 15 year old girl in high school and I love reading! I'm usually into supernatural stuff or fantasy, but this series was so GOD DAMN GOOD!!! It was exhilarating all the way through. There were times when I literally almost jumped. There were times when I felt joy and despair. There were times when I laughed and cried in these books. I recommend this series to anyone who wants some drama, action and love. This series has it all. Starting from friendship, to family, and to boys...I'm very excited to read the last book though I still don't know when it's coming out. If you're into spy stuff and still haven't read this series, the question why are you alive? :)

Cammie Morgan, our favorite teen spy, is back in action. Its summer time and Cammie is excited to finish it out with a bang when she goes off to visit her roommate Macey in Boston. When you're a spy though the word "exciting" is synonymous with "dangerous," and danger is exactly what Cammie and Macey for that matter, get.

When the girls return to school for the start of junior year, Cammie can't shake what happened to them in Boston and nowhere feels safe anymore, not even her school. She feels like there are secrets everywhere and old flames are popping up every which way Cammie turns. Cammie and her friends are also quite confused with the answerless questions of who was after Macey and Cammie on that fateful day in Boston.

Soon though Cammie and Becks are asked to accompany Macey (as her personal security guards) on her dad's campaign trail. Together the three of them keep up with their spy training while trying to uncover the answers to many, many secrets and possibly discovering the shocking truth.

This series is one of a kind and just plain great. Cassie is such an independent person and I love the adventure that takes place. Ally Carter is also such a fabulous author that I get lost in her writing every time I pick up one of her books. DON'T JUDGE A GIRL BY HER COVER is no exception to this said awesomeness.

The characters were a lot of fun. Cammie was determined to succeed in her missions, which I had to admit I was very jealous of and completely wanted to partake in, and very resbonsible. I have to admit though, she was a little boy crazy which made me a little annoyed, but hey a teen girl has to have her priorities! Talking about boys, I loved how admist politcs and spies and such Ally Carter incorporated something as common as boy drama, which really made the reader connect with the story. I also loved Bex. She was such a strong character and she could seriously kick some butt!

Overall I really, really liked this book and thought it was a great addition to the series, it may almost be the best one yet. The writing was fun, but intense at times and the author really knows how to suck you in. I know that I cannot wait for the fourth Gallagher Girl book.

I enjoyed the first Gallagher Girls book, but did feel there were certain problems with the premise. CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY was likewise enjoyable but not as awesome as I hoped. But I definitely enjoyed DON'T JUDGE A GIRL BY HER COVER, as I can tell the girls are growing up. (Although Bex and Liz need to get some of their own experiences in with boys or they'll never grow up to be true femme fatales.)

Josh, once more, just gets a cameo. That's fine; he was a first relationship. But Zach's role is increasing (or at least remains steady), and experience with boys could certainly help Cammie figure out what her possible love interest is up to. And she does want to know since he has a tendency to show up in tandem with trouble. It doesn't help that trouble hasn't been far at hand since Macey and Cammie were attacked during Macey's father's campaign. These weren't amateurs either. These were professionals, prepared for them to be Gallagher girls rather than normal teens.

I enjoy the spirit of Cammie, Macey, Bex, and Liz. They clearly enjoy spying and ferreting out secrets. It does seem like Gallagher Academy needs to teach its exceptional young women when to abort a mission. Their tendency, especially Cammie's, to get involved in dangerous situations often crosses over from clever and brave into foolhardy. I do like that Macey got more attention in this one as the "damsel in distress," since the other two focused more on Cammie and her love life. It helped bring out the ensemble, and their chemistry and wit are a greater part of what makes the series fun rather than the almost disposable boys.

That said, I really loved the twist at the end. I didn't expect it, but it makes sense, and it puts things into a very exciting place for the fourth Gallagher Girls novel. Ally Carter ups the ante and I can't wait to see where she goes with the girls' spring semester. Oddly, that reminds me, that Macey - who experienced regular life before she came to the Academy - does get the chance to begin developing her own life. Just as the tough girl would not want, it's really cute. While we don't see much of her guy, none of what we do see in DON'T JUDGE A GIRL BY HER COVER makes him look a jerk. He even sees past her cover and isn't bothered to be with a girl more capable, in certain situations, than him.

While I found the first two slightly disappointing, there's more reason to why Carter's series is popular than the awesome titles. She's got a nice sense of humor and it is fun to read about girls who support each other rather than tear each other down. It doesn't hurt that there's spy hijinks afoot either. Since I'm currently annoyed by the weak-willed protagonist of the book I'm reading as I write this review, I'll also say that it's good to read about teen girls who strive to be as mentally and physically capable as possible. And yes, things really are more exciting now that enemy spies are coming into play.

After reading Ally Carters books and enjoying them, I think there really is a Gallagher (type) Academy for Exceptional Young Women out there. I also think that I've been under surveillance by some of their alumni. They sure dress the same, as the girl on the cover, even though they're in their thirties, and run in a pack of four too. Mmmmmm! So where did you-u-u attend school, Ally Carter, and are these your memoirs? I think this is a good book series for Exceptional Young Women to read, and I passed it on to a few, with their parents consent of course. Its possible that you will find schools like this in Europe, and if thats the case, it would be only natural to have one in the U.S. Thus, Ally's book will surely help recruit Exceptional Young Women, and she's probably getting inquiries right now. Good for you Ally Carter, and God Bless America. By the way, is there anybody following me? Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean I'm not being followed, Gallagher Girl!

Cammie meets up with her roommate and best buddy Macey in Boston to help Macey weather the storm of her father's political ambitions. Macey doesn't show the world her true self, but she's on par with your average rich girl. She'd never give up any details of the Gallagher secrets (read SPY school for girls). In Boston, the unthinkable happens. Cammie and Macey are attacked and barely make it off the roof together and in one piece. Now that school's back in session, Cammie's shaken but she's more worried about Macey than herself. Macey must spend time with her family on the political trail and Cammie's not too far behind her - even if it means breaking the rules. Cammie's aunt is on Macey's detail team, but Cammie can't help thinking there's something in the back of her head that she can't put her finger on - something that will answer all her questions about the attempted kidnapping. She just hopes she can remember if before it's too late.

The third book in the Gallagher Girl series left me dangling with my mouth left open in shock and me needing the next book in the series pronto! The danger and tension in the first few pages of the book carries throughout the rest of the tale. There's also the hilarious bit about the girls who can handle almost anything trying to decode guy behavior. All in all, it's a fabulous read.

The narrator in the audiocopy has a nice voice and speaks well.
I wasn't sure I was into the idea of teenage girls being in "spy school", but as the story progressed it became more interesting to me and not so far fetched.
It didn't always keep my attention at first, then I'd hear a word like, covert, and I'd start listening again.
I had no idea this was a third in a series, it can be read as a stand alone easily without feeling like you missed anything.
It is definitely geared for teenage girls though. Lots of references to boys and how the author described them, totally teenage girls. Don't get me wrong, mom's won't mind it either. The plot comes through enough.

Plot: Cammie Morgan visits her roommate Macey in Boston, she's there to watch Macey's father accept the nomination for Vice President of the United States. Unfortunately she goes to the world's best school (for spies), so while it can be exciting it can also be very dangerous. Cammie and Macey eventually find themselves in a fight with kidnappers with only their knowledge to save them. Cammie can't stop thinking about what happened in Boston. The Gallagher Academy will probably never feel as safe as it really was. Theirs secrets and rumors all trapped in the schools walls. Cammie and her friends are still scared and have to watch each other's back. The girls must watch out and use their training for anything unexpected.

Setting: The beginning of her junior year at the Gallagher Academy for exceptional young Women, there is snow falling during the winter chill.

Conflict/Resolution: The conflict is when Macey, Cammie, and Preston (boy whose father is also running in the election) gets in a fight when kidnappers try to kidnap them. Why? No one knows. The resolution is when Cammie figures out why the kidnappers were after Macey....turns out they were after her because she was the great-great-granddaughter of the most famous Gallagher Girl.

Every new book in this series gets better and better. This book started off with action from page one. Cammie goes to stay with Macey, only to have people try and kidnap Macey. Only to learn later on that maybe Macey isn't the one they are after.
I was also very excited when Zach came back into this book. Towards the beginning he isn't mentioned much. But I love his and Cammie's relationship.
Also a new character came into the series. Cammie's Aunt, Abby who hasn't been around since Cammie's father, died. She was a very cool and fun character that Ally Carter brought into the series.
I can not wait to read book 4. Cammie is going to London with Bex. And the book was left open as to who is after someone in the Gallagher school.

Have I mentioned I love this series? Because I LOVE this series.

The books are short and sweet and to the point - but most importantly, they're just FUN!

The best part about them aren't the spy gadgets, or the Gallagher Girl mansion, or the plot (however epic they all are). The characters are amaaaaazing! Cassie is always entertaining to read about - after all, the books ARE from her point of view. Liz is my favorite, though. Super braniacs for the win!

I'm really excited to start reading the next one - I can't wait to get this deeper peek into the Gallagher world that Ally has dangled in front of us.

I have been adoring this series since the first book, but this third installment is the best one yet. Cammie Morgan's world is becoming more complicated, and the book keeps you guessing page after page. Handsome, mysterious Zac returns to keep Cammie confused and breathless, and I was glad to see Cammie get a glimpse of Josh from book one. These books are such a breath of fresh air! How fun can reading get? I love Cammie's voice: just about every line makes you laugh as our heroine describes her extremely abnormal spy life and her extremely normal human questions. Bravo to you, Ms. Ally Carter! Thanks for taking your time and making this book great!

Plot twists! I love a book with a good, unpredictable, but REALISTIC plot twist.

That is what separates a ho-hum book from a , "Whoa! Didn't see that one coming, what is going to happen next", book.

You can tell that Cammie has grown in this book, as her fans have, and that makes her more than a character in a book, but a friend with a crazy, fabulous, fantastic, exciting, dangerous, funny, life.

Ally Carter has once again written an amazing book. Although some of the things I don't agree with her it is still a wonderful book. In the book Cam goes to Macy's house for the end of the summer to help Macy deal with her unruly parents. Right when Macy and Cam are about to leave, Macy, Cam and a new character Preston end up on top of a roof where they are almost kidnapped by mysterious couple. They manage to get away but when they arrive back at the mansion Macy and Cam cant seem to shake off the feeling they are being watched and wanted. Through the book Cam tries keeping Macy safe by going on adventures with her (secretly) when Macy is forced to leave the mansion for her duties as the could-be VP daughter. Cam is again and again feeling like she see's the same person who turns out to be Zach. the book ends with a surprising twist when cam finds out that the Circle of Cavan (an enemy of Gallagher) is out to get her, instead of Macy, and this is why she is being followed by Zach- to keep her safe.this book is very good but a little hard to understand at some points because of how ally carter writes, she never fully expains the concept- which i am in no way saing it is bad. Hope you enjoy the book and hope you also enjoyed this review of Gallagher Girl #3.

This is an amazing series! The books have a really interesting setting (aka spy school) the writing is fabulous and the characters just seem so real! I think you can easily identify with the main character, Cammie, but many of her friends, like Macey or her aunt Abby, who appears later in the series, are brilliant as well. I can definitely recommend it!

the third in the series centers around the politics that is macey's life. Here Cammie and Macey start off in Boston and a kidnapping attempt. The mook has boys entering the picture of both Cammie and Macey. Zach is here for Cammie and he tells her to be carefule something she still tries to decipher as something more than what it means and Macey has preston who she clains to not stand but hmmm does she really? All the while navigating friendship, boys and kidnapping attempts the girls are worrying about the school and being caught breaking the rules yet again.
Romance, action, adeventyre, mystery and fun all paked into one- another book addition on the series no one should miss!

I've followed the series since book one, and they just keep getting better. The boy drama, the friendships, and the absolutely brilliant work of Ally Carter join to create the perfect spy novel for young adults. It's suspenseful and page-turning, without being too serious for young kids. As a young teenager myself, I can say that I really love these books. And the ending will leave you excited, and most likely with your jaw on the floor.

Ally Carter brings her popular Gallagher Series to a whole new level of spying and excitement when Cammie Morgan almost gets kidnapped along with her roommate Macey McHenry as Macey's dad campaigns to be the next Vice President. Finding herself in real danger, Cammie knows it's not just a test being pulled by her teachers. When they get back to school, Cammie's Aunt Abby, who she hasn't seen for a long time, is there on duty as a Secret Service agent to protect Macey.

And yes, there are boys, including Zach, the spy who maybe loves Cammie...or maybe is out to get her. He appears at the most unlikely of times, but Cammie's sixth sense susses him out, even though she can't quite figure out what he's doing at rallies and on trains (and Carter never fully explains his mysterious presence, either). That he might be a good guy or a bad guy doesn't stop Cammie from thinking about him. Another potential romance is brewing between Macey and the possible future first son, yet the girls have much more to worry about as ancient Gallagher Girl secrets are unlocked, and proven to be very relevant in the here and now.

History comes to life, vividly and literally, in Carter's prose, and she once again manages to get a "girls can do anything, even foil dangerous kidnapping plots and rescue lost girls" message in while providing the same humor as she did in the first two novels. The level of danger is ratcheted up a notch here, and she leaves us guessing right to the end as to just how much damage has been done.

There's a wistfulness and maturity to Cammie here; she loves being a Gallagher Girl but also recognizes the limitations of it by seeing her mom and aunt, as well as by facing her enemies head on. There's still the same gossip, sneaking out, and having the student spies outwit their adult counterparts as in the first two books, but there's something more brewing. My only complaint is that there's not another Gallagher Girl novel to read ASAP, because while Carter ties up most of the loose ends and kept me guessing, she also made me want more Cammie and co. immediately.

We both had are shutout of omgs NO!!s and SHE LIVES!!! And if they ever make a movie about this I would want to bad cami she is a amazing person and reminders me of my self breaking rules for friends having a sisterhood that no one understands. And that family is the most important.

The third book in the Gallager series was great. Cammie Morgan visits her roomate Macey over the summer during Macey's dad's presidential campain. The two of them run into trouble that nearly kills them both. Macey has someone after her and no one knows why. Even though Macey has secret service protection with her almost the entire day, Cammie feels the need to follow her around. When doing so, Cammie fimds herself running into...... Zach? Who is after Macey and why? The story plot is very intruging and full of excitement. I reccomend this to anyone who likes a bit of action, a mystery, and of course.... spies. Also, you should read I'd Tell You I Love You but Then I'd Have to Kill You and Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy first.

This book is SOOOO great, much better than the 1st and 2nd in the Gallagher Girls series. It kept me reading nonstop, and was filled with action. The characters develop very realisticly and Cammie takes risks. There is a major shocker in the book, which is great. We got to see a different side of Zach. If you thought he was mysterious in the last book, wait until you read this book! Overall, it was a AMAZING BOOK!! It's a must-read. ;) I would reccomend this book to anyone; Kudos to Ally Carter, who manages to balance out drama, action, and humor perfectly.

I loved the book, I especially liked how Macey tried to cover up her feelings but her friends cared too much to let her be sad. I also loved how Camern's "boyfriend" cared so much about her to go with her everywhere, weather he might die or not
