A), Dark Legacy (Carpathian Novel

Very standard for this author. Having met a majority of the characters, they fell into their roles quickly and easily. I continue to be somewhat disappointed by the "bossiness" of the males, and the basic doormat actions of the females, ultimately. "Because I say so" seems to be the main reason the guys give - and the women accept this. No apparent amazement that the guy can make clothes out of nothing. But surprise that he manages to live despite being about killed. A few other things - but the idea is not generally logic. His get me out of this world. And it works.

I have such a love hate relationship with this writer. Love every thing she writes. This one is no exception. It is more in tune with a lot of the earlier books of this series. Hence can't put down till the end. I hate that I have to wait for the next one. But I will. I'm so interested in seeing who the next lifemate will be. This book has a new Madge involved in the story line as well. That as well maybe interesting to see where that may lead as well. But with Freehan you can never tell. It is just one of her mysteries that makes her who she is.

Sensual, exotic and many more creative terms can be given to this novel. It is interesting as the Carpathian series progress over time, it has increased in sexual pages and less in content of a true Carpathian storytelling. However, it is the norm of our times and a many years of developing this series. Truly, I still enjoy Christine storytelling and continue to be a follower.

Once again Christine Feehan writes a great book. You do not have to read the previous books in the series, but it would be helpful to know some of the past history. Gary is in it as a great supporting character,, and without knowing his history, you would not "know" who he is.
I read this book in 1 day, and think you will love it. Well worth the money.

I will not give any spoilers, so all I can really say is if you have read her before you will not be disappointed. (Yes, t here are sex scenes if you do not like that type of writing, you might not enjoy it.)

This read is extraordinary. Ms, Feehan does it again. I love this series. This book answers some questions that you had from the last book, but also leaves you with more. The ancients are funny, very sexy and you want them to find their lifemates. Emiline and Dragomir are perfect for each other .each giving the other strength and comfort. I anxiously await the next Dark book.

This is literally my first book review ever. I love reading but have never really felt compelled to write a review. Until now. Christine Feehan holds a special place in my literary heart. The Dark series was my intro into vampire romance. For those who have read the series, this book takes you back to the early writing style. It was with great sadness that I actually hated the last few books. The writing was lazy and unnecessarily violent. This book washes it all away. I believe that Ms. Feehan listened to the reviewers and took us back to the series that so many of us loved.

Waited forever for this book and it was absolutely worth the wait. Action packed, informative, sexy, laugh out loud funny!! Christine you are the Queen!! So love the ancients and their sass! lol. Love how she throws in twists and surprises. The freaking Xs evil plans are still around, The evil is so evil!! But the good is so very good!! I recommend this series to everyone!!

Absolutely awesome! This was such a great read. So many fabulous characters, a wonderful story arc and some amazing potential for the future. I honestly can't recommend this enough. I'm so gutted it's finished and I don't have more to read! And I am so impressed that after 31 books Christine Feehan still manages to write to this standard. Unlike some other series, this one hasn't dried up at all. It's still just as amazing as it was when I read Dark Prince. In fact, I think it might even be better. LOVED this book!

Great continuation of the Carpathian storyline. Love this series with originality and great imagination. The characters and their relationship that stems from the beginning of the series to the present shows that Christine Feehan knows her characters and the twist and turns in the story melds the past with the present. Looking forward to the next book.

Christine Feehan has done it again by bring us another unforgettable adventure from the Carpathian world. This was a book that added to the intriguing and romantic side of a Carpathian couples trials to finding their lifemates and working with other Carpathian's to concur over the master vampires. Another must read and I can't wait for the next book!
