Excellent writing, fabulous story lines. I love how the author is able to take mythology and integrate it into a very modern storyline. I've purchased three of her books so far and will be buying more! I highly recommend giving her a try!

ST Bende’s books area a refreshing dip into the paranormal fantasy world that will sweep you off your feet. Ever since her first book, Elsker, I have waited to see where she heads and eagerly follow. This book is no exception to the rule. Perfekt Order is a brilliant start to a new series that I cannot wait to fall in love with. This book has a sweet romance, Norse gods, adventure, danger, and gumption. If you love a good, clean, and exciting story, you need to read this book!
Bende does a great job of blending the Norse mythology with life as we know it. It is a world that we live in day to day woven with fantastic elements that build a fun story. With so few well known Norse books around, this book is a beacon in the genre, offering readers something new to dive into and explore. Hearing familiar names based on comics and movies we know from pop culture today gives the reader a connection and foundation to learn about the Norse gods and goddesses. I loved how you learn so much without being overwhelmed. Each character Mia meets is well developed and believable. They have characters flaws and act just like any young adult you would expect despite their many years of life and otherworldly duties.
Mia the main character is dropped unknowingly into a world of chaos. She is easily swept into the fold, not knowing how things have progressed or where things are leading. One of my favorite things about this heroine is her personality. So often in supernatural fantasy books we see a young woman who just accepts everything with ease and moves along. Mia is very pragmatic and seeing that character trait hit up against the supernatural things she sees and learns is wonderful. I loved her spunk and attitude. She is capable and brave, which allows her to know what she can and cannot do. Her confidence is brilliant and her character is something that young women will admire.
The romance between Mia and Tyr is sweet and completely appropriate for first love. It was darling to watch Mia fall in love and to realize the connection they shared. She is honest with her feelings and brave in what she shares and feels. Seeing this book unfold in her experiences allows the reader to better understand her internal debate and her pragmatic approach to love. When it happens though, she sees a new venue to better understand that some things will not be understood with reason but instead by the heart. These two balance well. When Tyr becomes over protective and alpha male, Mia is quick to push back and stand her ground. These two become a unit that work well together. I am excited to see where they go in this series and how they grow together.
The Aere Saga is definitely on my radar to watch out for. I am ready to see more of the characters introduced in this first book and crossing my fingers that they all have their chance in the spotlight featured in their own story. Bende is a fabulous author, one that is overlooked, but once you give her stories a shot, you will fall for her characters and beg the universe for more!

What another amazing book from S.T. Bende. I loved this story & boy do I have a new book boyfriend in Tyr WOW.
From the first chapter of this book I was hooked & couldn't put it down. I loved meeting all the new characters and can't wait to read their stories. I just hope that there is more of Tyr & Mia in the future as I feel there is more to their story.
If you have read the Elsker saga then you'll love this book just as much (I think this book actually has the edge over Elsker for me but that's because I fell for Tyr right from the start). If you haven't read Elsker you don't have to read that before you start this book but I recommend it.
I'm so glad I discovered S.T. Bende as she's introduced more of the Norse world to me which I love & she writes an epic romance.

PERFEKT ORDER is the start of another great series by S.T. Bende! Ever since I read her first book, Elsker, back in 2013, I have been really curious about Norse mythology. I love how Bende incorporates many aspects of it into her stories, while adding a modern spin on them. I also enjoy the tidbits of Scandinavian culture that she adds, such as the language and food.
PERFEKT ORDER takes place in the same world as the Elsker Saga, however we meet a whole new cast of characters- Mia, Tyr, Brynn, and of course, Henrik. Mia has a Type A personality. She likes everything organized, planned, and done perfectly. This means, no surprises or anything that she can't control. But then one day, she meets the mysterious Tyr Fredriksen, and her world is turned upside down. In some ways he is like her, yet there is so much she doesn't know about him, and it drives her crazy. Will Mia be able to to make an exception for Tyr and be able to just roll with the punches?
Tyr was such a great character! He certainly had a lot on his plate, and a lot of responsibilities. I liked how he wanted to protect his loved ones, without being too overbearing. He also happens to be very handsome and swoon-worthy.
I really liked the way that S.T. Bende was able to blend all of the story elements in together, as well, and create an exciting adventure. I have to admit, she managed to surprise me at the end, as the outcome never even occurred to me!
I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series. I'm anxious to find out more about the other characters...especially Henrik, who was my favorite and who I just adored.

What would you expect when you are about to read a story about the God of War?
Mischief and mayhem of course! Does this book deliver these? Oh yeah and much much more.
Not only did I cry like a baby but I also swooned and laughed. S.T. Bende can make mythology interesting for even the hardest disbeliever.
Mia is your average college student working her way to greatness. Little did she expect to stumble upon a real life God on her way to the top.
Tyr... The stuff that dreams are made of! The God of War is stubborn, naughty and overprotective. His shields are way up but when Mia comes along even he has a hard time to withstand the temptation and his true chance of love.
Add the big bad wolf and a whole crew of Norske friends and you god a fairy tale to remember!
Are you ready to battle it out with war? The battle will commence... Soon! ;)
-------- Side note ------
This book was so different from the Elsker saga yet you could see some comparisons. I felt that this one might feel a little closer to the real world. It’s not immediately boom and that’s it. Here we really felt the insecurities they both had.
Oh and S.T. Bende I got a bone to pick with you young lady! You did not tell me that the next book was going to be “...” Or I might just have been not so attentive to notices the posts. But that’s besides the point! ;-)

I absolutely loved the Elsker series and thought there was no way this series could top that. But it definitely did! Through the whole book I found myself laughing at the southern one liners and holding my breath for the intense moments. This is a book I couldn't put down and thought about when I had to. Can't wait for the next one!!

Although I read the blurb for Perfekt Order, it was quite some time ago. So, when starting the book, I decided not to refresh my memory and went in semi-blind.
"First impressions took a heartbeat to make, but a lifetime to break."
Not knowing much about what I was getting into, my first impression of Mia was a positive one. She's a bit of an introvert, preferring to stay under the radar, although she did seem eager to try new things. Being a character so fond of math and science, such clear-cut subjects, I was immediately curious to see how she would cope with her impending brush with all things mythological and supernatutal. When we first meet Mia, she's enthusiastically and clumsily moving into her new home at college. While working off some of that nervous energy, she's thrown off kilter when she encounters something horrifying on her first night in town. The author throws readers right into the action very quickly here, which I loved.
"If my Prince Charming was at this party, he’d better find clavicles sexy."
While our heroine was modest and geeky in the best possible way, the other characters' personalities were just as distinguished and strong. Bende really has a knack for writing completely endearing characters that are easy to fall in love with. Jason, Heather, Charlotte, Henrik and Brynn are all fantastic supporting characters. Freya, in particular, was one that I adored. I do wish we would have seen more of her throughout this book, but I'm sure we will in due time. Tyr, of course, is as dreamy as ever. Imposing and mysterious, he oozes quiet charm and protectiveness. And not to worry-- his determination to keep Mia safe doesn't mean he gets away with being bossy. Our heroine has a backbone. Hallelujah! She puts her foot down early on and I definitely gained some respect for her with that act. She's a strong, admirable character. One downside to Mia, however, was how slow she was on the uptake for such a smart girl. I'm sure someone's brain would automatically try to rationalize strange occurrences, but how many events have to occur or very specific, very unique names have to be dropped (right after discussing them, in fact) before things start to fall into place? Of course, her being slow to catch on is part of prolonging the mystery, so it wouldn't normally bother me, but there were times when it didn't line up with certain qualities that I knew her character to have. And, hey, at least Brynn agrees with me.
“For a math genius, you’re unusually unobservant.”
But Mia adjusts pretty well once she does put the pieces together, and continues to exude strong-will and bravery. One small issue I have is that, despite all of Mia's demanding that she is capable and strong, she was never really given the opportunity to prove this. She is clearly a strong girl, I just wish we could have seen more of that, and that she could have had a bigger role in "saving the day" or fighting alongside Tyr. I suppose I was hoping for her to bust out of that protective bubble her friends placed her in and blow everyone away.
Things take an exciting turn towards the end of the book-- plenty of action and suspense to keep you flying through those last pages. The romance in Perfekt Order was disgustingly sweet in the best way, something I've come to expect from this author. Mia and Tyr, while an unexpected match, are an enchanting couple and I'm looking forward to catching up with them in the future.
Fans of Norse mythology and all things supernatural will love sharing Mia and Tyr's adventure. And if you're like me, and aren't so familiar with certain stories and characters, don't be deterred. Bende does a great job of giving us a crash course in everything that's important in order to follow along with and thoroughly enjoy this story! I can't wait to continue on with this series.

Mama’s Thoughts:
Bende’s back with a vengeance! This new saga is even better than Elsker, and if you can believe it, hotter too. I just adored Mia- she’s sure of herself, even if she’s a bit afraid of change and disorder, she’s kind and funny as Hel, plus she knows she’s pretty and not constantly talking down on herself, nor is she boastful. Just a great gal who I’d love to be friends with, or girl friends if I was Tyrsomely. Alas I am not, but *whew* talk about heat factor. Although, since we’re being honest here, as the good goddess Lorna would say, #HenrikismyHottie. He’s just got the whole Clark Kent/Bruce Wayne thing happening and it’s delicious. Anyway back to this awesome book you should totally read…….yeah Perfekt Order has something for everyone. Mystery, Action, Suspense, Romance, Gods and Goddesses and even some slimy critters. Come on and grab your copy to start the Aere saga!

Loved this book. Mai was a very organized freshman college student just wanting to learn engineering and had her world changed forever my a norse god and his norse friends. The adventure begins as soon as she gets to her new home when she is attached by a large wolf and is saved a guy that came out of the woods. Tyr isn't the easiest guy to get to know. He tries really hard not to get involved with the human girl that he had saved from the large wolf that has come from hos realm. But the more he gets to know Mia the less he stay away.
When finds out he is a god she doesn't want to believe. It isn't in organized/logical world and why her of all people did a god want her. She has been taught to defend herself and her weapons and that makes Tyr love her even more even though he always trying to protect her from harm.
There is a lot of adventure and romance between Mia and Tyr but they are not the only ones looking for love. Henrik has no clue that Brynn is really hung up on him and thinks she is just one of the Guys.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I went into it blind, not having read anything about it and not having read the reviews. I was quickly sucked into the story and had a very difficult time pulling myself away. It has a perfekt balance of action, romance, and comedy. It's engaging!! My only complaint is that it wasn't very fast paaed in the beginning, but quickly made up for it. I look forward to reading the rest of the series!

I received this book for an honest review. This is a really good book with the wY ST Bende puts her own twist on Norse Mythology. Mia, a talented young lady who grew up hunting and fishing with her family, having just arrived in Arcata, California, to go to Redwood State University to study Engineering , decided to go for a run before meeting her new roomates. Mia is attacked by a creature she meets on the trail and someone shows up to save her and she passes out. Mia awakes to find one of her new roommates Brynn,a Valkyrie,by her side. who then takes her back to their house.
That same night at a party Brynn takes her to She is introduced to Brynns friends from home Tyr Fredriksen a tal sandy blonde blue eyed Norse God of War, she doesn't know this, and Henrik Anderson his bodyguard. Mia thinking she and Tyr hit it off at the party is disappointed that he doesn't aske her out. On Monday morning she meets him again while running on a different trail this time. Tyr then runs back with her. They keep meeting up after that. rats in the girls home has them moving in with Tyr and Henrik for awhile.
Then she finds out about Tyr's sister Elsa who is in a coma by following men on the trail. Her and Tyr start dating and then they get attacked by Fenrir and Tyr finally has to explain who and what he really is. Close to the end I was crying and yet so happy that I could dance. I can't wait for the next book in this series

This is a very romantic book with exciting characters with strong personalities who learn to change when situation calls for it. I loved this story - beautiful characters, descriptive scenery and animating action. This book perfectly blends these three things together. Once it is over you are eager for the next book in the series, so you can see what is going to happen to the supporting characters (who are nevertheless are as interesting as the main ones).

I’d already bought her previous trilogy and loved that, so I was really looking forward to reading this new book. It was a little slow at the start, but after a few chapters I couldn’t put it down and by the end I was wishing the next one was available already.
Lots of romance, a fair amount of Norse mythology and all new characters that you’ll fall in love with – I certainly did. What surprised me the most is how much the main character’s little sayings made me laugh!
ST Bende does such a good job of letting you in on the character’s thoughts that you feel like you’re living inside the main character’s head while you’re reading. I’m so glad I found her books!
If you enjoy romance novels, I highly recommend reading this one.

Never thought Norse Mythology could get any better after the Elsker Saga, but S.T. Bende prove me wrong ,felt in love with the book , the awesome characters and the story !
From the beginning you get sucked up in this book , the love story of tho hard headed characters ,they are just perfect for each other ,and although Mia (the main female character ) is only 17 years old ,she has a strong personality and a very defined character to mach the God of War Tyr (who is all types of sexy and then some ).
Perfekt Order is very well written ,with a story line that flows easily ,I got captivated by the book and could not pout it down ,felt in love with Tyr after the first few chapters and can't beryl wait, for the next book in the series ,to get more glimpses of them !!!
Absolutely loved Perfekt Order ,S. T. Bende hats off !!!

Loved this book
I have fallen in love with Norse gods again
S.T. has a way with Norse mythology , stealing your heart and last breath and writing in a way that really pulls you into this magical journey .
You instantly love Mia ( she's like me ) she's strong and independent. Ok she's very strong and great match for our God of war ,
St and her other series Elsker saga is amazing so reading this just made me feel I'd Bern unfaithful to the old crew .
I really am hoping that S.T. gives us more like all together in one happy Norse god book that would be heaven .
Mia is a perfectionist everything has a place a time and most of all it has to be perfect order to make sense to her everything is black and white .
Mia grows on you , you find yourself rooting for her .
Tyr is in hell of a hot bodied dream boat and Mia has A fluster moment or two ?
St tells the story with her ability to transport you into the book with them .loss. Love and much more will hit you when your reading this truly magical tale
The who,e story start to finish will have you laughing , shying and nearly shedding a tear of two or more , but mostly you will loose your heart in this .
This book is written in a way that you cannot help but love the gang hold your breath and hold tight for a story that will give you whip lash
Well written thanks for the arc copy st
Loved loved loved it
I'm a Norse god book whore , st made me that way .

S.T. has a way with Norse mythology , stealing your heart and last breath and writing in a way that really pulls you into this magical journey .

Excellent book - kept me riveted all the way through. The thing I loved most was that we started the book with the heroine moving to a new place so we were discovering everything and meeting all the other characters at the same time as she did. That means that there was less time reading a ton of backstory and more time just jumping into the story. There were times when I was mentally screaming at the main character as she was so stubborn and bent on self-destruction since she just wasn't "getting it". But then right about the time I was at my height of frustration with her, the author chose to remind me that the main character was only 17. That explained a lot and helped me come back around to the story.

Perfekt Order brings us the story of seventeen year old Mia Ahlström as she moves to Arcata, California to attend Redwood State University. During a run her first day, Mia is attacked by a large wolf-like monster and is saved by Tyr Fredriksen. From that moment, Mia's life is forever changed. Turns out that Tyr is the Norse God of War and dark forces are out to bring him down and they have no problem using Mia to achieve their goal. Mia's life of perfekt order is about to be shaken to its core. When you're in love with the God of War, order is the last thing you need to worry about.
I've been a fan of this world since reading the Elsker Saga and I really enjoyed this new adventure with a new Norse Crew in the Ære Saga. I'm pretty sure that Perfekt Order takes place slightly before the events in the Elsker Saga - I'm still a bit confused on the timeline - and it's a lot more battle-heavy than the previous series, which only makes sense since our main male character is the Norse God of War. Basically, in Perfekt Order, Mia finds herself in the middle of a war between the Ære Crew and Fenrir, who is working with someone determined to bring down the God of War. So there's this constant battle-readiness throughout the story and they are always on alert for the next attack. But even with all this action, S.T. Bende was able to seamlessly weave a beautiful romance between Mia and Tyr and some pretty great humor into the story. Each element is perfektly balanced and I didn't feel like one element overpowered the others. This story just drew me in. I'm so invested in this story and the characters in it, that I'm going nuts without the next book. Especially after the sneak peek of the second book at that end of the book. February seems so far away!
I was in love with Ære Crew from the very beginning. Mia is a very strong character and extremely stubborn. She is a very organized and analytical person. Anything illogical doesn't belong in her world. But then Tyr enters her life and her perfektly ordered life becomes chaotic. Mia and Tyr are very much alike, and being the God of War has made him extremely protective of those he loves, especially since he's lost a lot of this loved ones to his enemies. Mia's stubbornness and Tyr's protectiveness clash a lot in this book. These were the times when Mia kind of annoyed me. Any other time I loved Mia so much, but it seemed that whenever Tyr tried to protect her from Fenrir, she wanted to put herself right out there in danger. A human cannot win in a battle with the monsters of Asgard's underworlds. But aside from the arguments they had about her safety, Mia and Tyr compliment each other perfektly. I'm looking forward to seeing glimpses of them in the next books and seeing how they progress in their relationship with all the chaos happening around them.
Not only does Perfekt Order have great main characters, but the rest of Ære Crew and Mia's roommates are equally awesome. This book just has such an amazing cast of characters. I absolutely loved Brynn and Henrik, who are Tyr's friends and bodyguards. Brynn ends up being one of Mia's roommates and Henrik also happens to be Gunnar's older brother. If you've read the Elsker Saga, Gunnar is Ull's best friend. Brynn's energy is through the roof and her obvious feelings for Henrik make her a target for quite a bit of teasing between her roommates. Henrik is an engineering genius, which gains him a lot of respect from Mia. And there are just so many other great characters, such as Freya, Forse, Elsa, and Mia's roommates Heather and Charlotte. The characters in this book are so uniquely themselves and I just couldn't help loving them all.
Finally, this book is so beautifully written. I loved how descriptive S.T. Bende was with the scenery, the characters, and basically everything in the world of this book. The suspense has a really great build-up each time a battle happens and that first scene when Mia was attacked had me on the edge of my seat. There's also some really great humor in this book, which I think was really needed with how serious the story could become at times. I loved how the title, and even just the word perfekt, was used throughout the story. Like I mentioned before, every element in this book is really well balanced and I really liked that there wasn't too much of one thing. I think I can sum up what I thought and felt for this book in one word: PERFEKTION!

Please RatePerfekt Order (The Ære Saga Book 1)
Well written with a plot that captures your imagination.
The only reason I only give 4 stars is that I'm Swedish, and it's kind of annoying to read that Malmö is a small fishing village. It's actually Swedens 3 largest city. There are a couple more things that are innaccurate through all books, and I do suggest taking a Swede or Norse in for proofreading about local Nordic stuff.
But I recommend all books by this author.
