This book seems to take place in the same universe as the Shadow’s and Flames Series (which is one of my favorite). I love how seamless everyone of C.N. Crawfords books are since there are two authors. C.N. is a husband and wife duo that blows me away with every book. Ruby is a full on badass that isn’t afraid to kick ass when needed. While she has some issues, the world basically ended, who can blame her, she still has the ability to overcome them. I love all of the supporting characters and I hope that we get to learn more about them in the future. As for the angels. They might be evil, but I still really liked the two. Johnny is a worthless ass, and I couldn’t stand him. But the other two. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens, especially with the ending that we are left with. Yet another amazing book by C.N. Crawford. I look forward to the rest of the books in this series. check out the complete review at underthebookmark .com

I enjoyed this book! Ruby is an interesting character, strong, independent, and likable. Her overwhelming goal revolves around rescuing her sister, but she's also struggling with survival in a pretty intense post-apocalyptic/fantasy-esque world. I have to admit, the world is pretty grim and depressing. But, I love the complexity of the characters. The antagonists have allure and intrigue, which keeps you pretty keyed into the book. Even terrifying killer hellhound-esque dogs somehow become something you care about. The action scenes sometimes are a little bit confusing, and the plot line amps up at the end and then just suddenly stops, but since the next book is already out I guess I'll just have to keep reading :) I recommend it!

I received an advanced copy of Covert Fae, I have been eagerly awaiting this story and wow, I was not disappointed! C.N Crawford has done it again! They really sunk their claws into me this time! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the story moves at a great pace, the characters are amazing. I felt that the characters have great depth and Ruby keeps you on your toes! you never know how she is going to react to the next situation she in, and Adonis... oh wow, what can I say about him?! The other characters are also very intriguing and I look forward to reading more of their story. I love the twists and unpredictability of this story. While it does end with a sort of cliffhanger it just makes you look forward to the next installment that much more! There are so many questions that I need answers to! . I think this book is a great start to another amazing series. There is a prequel called Angela Death that is a great read but not needed to follow this story but its really enjoyable so you should read it as well!

This author has such a way of bringing characters to life. Set in a world ravished by dragons and hunted by angels, humanity struggles to survives. Ruby lost everything the day the dragons came but she is determined to find and rescue her sister but to do that she must face her worst fears and enter the lion's den.

This story allows your imagination to play along with the plot showing you the images of a destroyed London and the depravity that was left behind. A remarkable story u can't wait to see what happens next.

Another great series by CN Crawford! I love the world that you have created and sucks me in and let's me run free. Your characters are solid and seem to be easy to relate to while keeping an air of mystery. This book is completely action packed, yet it doesn't ever seem to slow. The flow is perfect except when it end you aren't ready to leave their world. I thought Bael would be my favorite character you'd created, but Adonis is tied with Bael. Awesome freaking book and I can't wait for more.

Original and stunning world, I don’t know how C N Crawford keeps creating these different worlds in which her books are set. The first book is great at setting out the scene and building the storey which is good and definitely leaves you wanting more. The second book doesn’t disappoint it draws you in to Ruby and Adonis’s world, fires the imagination and definitely leaves you wanting several more books to follow although the second book has its own ending that ties everything up. Hopefully there will be more books in this collection that expand the next part of the storey.

Angela Death was a great story that made me curious about the story afterwards. Ruby is just the type of heroine I like the most, who is strong and fights for her goal, and develops further throughout the story.
The book is full with excitement, dangerous situations, encounters with angels, but that is why you will not be able to put it down :) Cannot wait for the next part!
I reviewed an ARC copy of the book voluntarily.

This book is pretty good. And it's an interesting read in where the dragons are basically the bad guys so far in the story and that humans are basically powerless and vampires and fae are the good guys and trying to stop the dragons. This is the very first book in this series so I was impressed how much was packed into the first book. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.

The story was about Ruby whose world was destroyed and only her sister was left who was taken away by the dragons. Now all Ruby wants to survive. She wants to not only help her friends but also save her sister. She goes to the Angel's castle disguised as a succubus. The story was full of twists and turns. It was an interesting read and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

This book had me from the moment I started reading it! Ruby may not be fearless, but she doesn't let that stop her from doing what needs to be done. I am glad that she finds an ally and her sister as well, but I would love for her to become Angela Death a little more. She seems so free while dancing and that's how I wish I could be lol.

I made sure to read the prequel novella first, which was heartbreaking. I'd go crazy trying to hide who I really was like Ruby does. The ending was extremely abrupt and I am thoroughly disappointed in the last new character. Is this person going to become a new enemy? That's what it seems like.

What a strange new world the author has developed! So much excitement! It is very captivating and keeps you reading, eager to find out more. While not a c k assoc cliffhanger, it does make it very compelling to read the next book. So, on we go!

Another amazing book from one of my favorite authors. The Great Nightmare and demons and Angels. I was so caught up I didn't even realize I was on the last page of the book. I received this as an ARC. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Once again CN Crawford has pulled me into an amazing world and left me wanting more! Seriously, I can’t wait to read more on Angela Death (Ruby) and her adventures in this post apocalyptic version of London. The back story is intriguing and the surprising twists will keep you wanting more. I was seriously disappointed that it was to be continued..but I’m oh so excited for the next book in the series!

The Great Nightmare is not exactly the End of Days. Instead it is more of a special ops mission lead by 3 winged males of ectreme power.
The story line mentions the old gods. So this is more of a take over with a lot of killing invoved.
The world building is good. Yet it is not as
bleak as it should be. We are talking about a huge city that has been decimated. Its citizens killed by famine and disease. Or viciously murdered by the Hunter and their bodies fed to the Hellhounds.
Not not bad. Liked her going all out feral fae atvthe turning of Spring.
