Very well written, I love the dynamic between Bane and Zannah. The huntress is alo a very interesting character. I am hoping they continue telling the stories of the lineage through the Sith until Sidious.

Drew Karpyshyn made another excellent book. For anyone who has been reading the two previous books, this ties up the series nicely. Overall, I don't believe it to be the best of the three but I would still recommend it to anyone interested in the novels or the Old Republic.

I have read almost every Star Wars book ever written and I have to say that the Darth Bane trilogy is one of the best! This book would probably not mean very much on it's own but to finish the story it is truly a return of the jedi. I really hope they find a way to continue with some of the great characters and philosophy of these books.

i thought it was good. i was not dissapointed. it ended the only way it could have i recommend this book to any star wars fans out there. the story moves and there is little down time. some of the star wars books can be painful to finish and some of the stories are not that good. this one is not one of those. i don't regret for a moment buying this book or the first two in the trilogy.

As it fills in some ancient galactic history this book was a good read. It introduces a few new characters but mostly focuses on the Master and Apprentice. The series has potential if the author intends to continue writing.

Loved it, read it twice. great background knowledge of the main plot for Star wars. Lucero describes the rise of Darth Sidius and the political strings being created to get him into a position of power. 5 stars for sure

The final book in the Darth Bane series delivers on all cylinders. A great ending to a great trilogy this final book pits apprentice against master and the reader must decide who to root for, if anyone!
The Bane series is one of my favorite Star Wars novels and essential to anyone who wants to further understand the Sith we see in the films.

This brought a memorable ending to life of one of the most influential and powerful Dark Lords of the Sith. This book will leave you with a stand-off feeling while reading, the anticipation was so thrilling. After reading the first two you get so anxious to know how does it all end, it reminds me of what drawn my interest to the complexity and admiration on how the Sith survived with only two at a time for thousands of years.

Typically like all the Darth Bane book, This one was great, There is something about rooting for the bad guy, which seams so wrong, but feels so right. This is one on those occusions. I reccomend anybody read these book, from your die hard star wars fan, to your leasiure reads around a pool with a few beers.

A great story but the author crams unnecessary exposition/references into the story and regularly phones in the writing by using cliched structure and descriptions. That being said I still highly recommend this book because it's subject matter is just stellar. Who doesn't want to learn of the Sith in their heyday and follow the coming of age story for the only Darth in the universe scarier and even more badass than Vader.

Exciting book from beginning to end. The character development was terrific and i felt i knew these people and understood their desires, their intentions and their motivations, their justifications. and explained or answered several old questions of mine.

A fitting end to the Bane triology with a surprise twist at the very end for those reading carefully. Another cornerstone of the EU glossed over novel Disney is trying to actively erase as their rebranded garbage flounders around; falling victim to overly political writers and a degree of casualness that would sicken even the worst freshmen 101 English student. If you want a good sw novel at a good price, can't go wrong here.

the three Darth Bane books are simply madatory for Star Wars fans
these books have been AWESOME - feels just like the main 6 movies, and really helps explain a lot of background
it would AMAZING if George Lucas could make a film or two out of these

While the first book centered around just the title character, both the second and third books are filled with intertwining and deep story lines that follow several different characters, not just the Dark Lord himself. All those different story lines come together in the epic final battle that we all new was set in the destiny of the main character from the very beginning. Be warned, however, as the ending of this final novel has been easily misinterpreted by many of its readers. Drew Karpyshyn explains what he meant to show his audience on his website, but the article is full of spoilers, so I wouldn't recommend reading that until you've finished the novel and seen for yourself.
