Opposition (A Lux Novel)

Seriously obsessed with this series and those in it. I also enjoy where the series is located. It makes it even more engrossing when you can picture exactly what she speaks of since you have been there in real life!

I adored this conclusion to the series! It was all that I could've, as a reader, wanted from one of my all time favorite series! It is such a bittersweet thing - I feel like I'm losing a big piece of my reading life with this conclusion because there's no more Daemon & Kat after this. I loved how Hunter was thrown into this novel too!! Loved him! I could go on and on about how much and how many things I loved about Opposition. If you love the series, you'll love this action packed conclusion! <3

This book was the perfect ending to an amazing series. I loved everything about it. It was fast paced, had my heart racing from moment to moment as everything unraveled. The author left NOTHING for anyone to question. Everything that you could possibly wonder that has happened through the series was answered in this book. It was amazingly written and skillfully put together for the best possible ending to this series. I loved it!

When I first read the back cover description I rolled my eyes and laughed not thinking I could seriously get into the book. I read aliens and thought spaceships, big heads, abducting cows, you know the typical low grade movie stereotypes. Then I started the book and read they were in West Virginia and thought even more movie based stereotypes (I live 30mins out side of WV so I wasn't imaging anything special about a state I frequent quite often- normally I want to read books about places far away, feel like I'm traveling lol) but I quickly became so wrapped up in the book interested in this new approach to aliens I've never even imagine that I carried the book to my wedding shower and read it as people ate talking around me about my wedding pictures lol I love the new idea of aliens she has given me and quickly became totally obsessed with the books and their new ideas and looks at things I rarely ever thought about before. (:

A perfect ending to a perfect series. There were epic fights, steamy love scenes and heartbreaking twists. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster that ended as nicely as one could hope after everything these kids have gone through. I'm really sad to finish this series. I wont miss the months spent waiting for the next book, but I will definitely miss the adventure these beloved characters took me on. Can't wait for Jennifer's next work, I'll never doubt her again. Who knew a book about teenage aliens would capture my heart and land a spot in my favorite books ever list! Literature never ceases to amaze me.

I've gotten so attached to the characters and story line, so I'm really sorry to see the end. It has been a wonderful and emotional ride. I have loved even the bad guys. They are so evil you can't help but hate them. There were no pointless deaths, no pointless cursing, and no pointless smut. All in all these books were great to read with characters that I will miss.

Wow, what a great series. I really was surprised by this series in a good way. Kind of sad it is over but it was a great journey. I highly recommend the Lux series but read them in order. I actually started reading Obsession which was a spin off from this series but it was cool when the char from both books interacted. Jennifer Armentrout writes some good stuff and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Oh wow. Ok perfect perfect perfect. I love this whole series and Ms. Armentrout does not disappoint at all with this last book. Jennifer really knows how to get a party started and she does that right at the end of ch. 1 and beginning of ch. 2 and then does not stop till the very last sentence.....which, by the way that lil teaser at the end just killed me. Seriously Ms. Armentrout someday you really need to let us fans in on that little bit of fun. AMAZING FINAL BOOK TO AN AMAZING BOOK SERIES

I've been entranced with this series since the very first word I read. it took me less than a week to read them all and I enjoyed the journey along with Kat Daemon and the gang. the characters were real. what they felt was real and it smacked you right in the chest. I don't know how many times I literally LOL because of one of Daemon's charming one liners. five stars for the whole series. well done ms. Adventurous...Brava!

I have loved this series since the first book. This book was great and showed exactly how much Kat and Daemon love each other. They would die for each other. I don't want to give any spoilers but the way the Arum and Luxen are in this book is great, the good and the bad. I hope there is another book that focuses on Luc and the "lost" children. I am sad to say that I will miss this series. This is a must read for any one.

Opposition was one of my anticipated reads of the year. I was left craving Daemon and Katy after the way Origin ended. It was a roller coaster ride of action, adventure, and some sadness.
The pop-culture references had me reeling. I am sad to see this series ending. I would love to see Dee and Archer’s story come to life. All in all it didn’t disappoint, it was an amazing conclusion to one of my favorite series.

This series seemed well written well enough for me to not be able to easily put the book down. There's a constant dangerous threat, intriguing twists in the plot, and ongoing sexual tension in stories series which keeps up the desire to read what's next. Dameon's character, though arrogant, is entirely charming and intriguing. You can't wait to see what his reactions are to the slights and insults thrown his way. It's been a thoroughly enjoy series to read.

A good ending to the series. Everything wrapped up tidily, though perhaps a bit anticlimactic for my liking.

I think the book would have been a bit stronger with just one POV, but over all enjoyable.

Also, the book has a sparkly cover and it makes me happy just looking at it!

This book put me through so much!!! I was worried for the characters for about 90% of the book and always on the edge of my seat, wondering what next big issue was that Daemon and Katy would have to overcome. I've never been so nerve-racked over a book that I can recall.

This book was perfection. I was never let down once during this story. The series began and ended with the same qualities that made me fall in love with it and stay in love with it.

Outstanding finale to this fabulous series. Unlike some other authors, Armentrout writes a conclusion that is true to the characters and the story while allowing the reader to witness an ending that is satisfying and hopeful. I like believing that characters I have become attached to can have a happy ending, well in this case, a happy beginning. I loved the references to Harry Potter and the Walking Dead!

What an awesome end to an fantastic series. I will keep this short and sweet; if you have not read this or are thinking of reading this - I strongly advise to READ IT NOW! Jennifer is an awesome writer and I buy everything she sells and I have been very anxious to read the last book and very sad that it is over. Daemon and Kat are both bad ass and one of my all time favorite couples.

Kinda felt like all of the dramatic scenes of all the other books were just repeated in this one. I liked getting the ending and seeing what happens, and how everyone works together and all...but I felt a wee bit like I'd already read this before. Something was a little lacking. Nevertheless, Armentrout is an great author and I love pretty much everything she writes.

I really enjoyed this series. I LOVED Daemon and Kat. Both strong and courageous as well as funny and clever. This book had a lot in it but it didn't feel rushed. The pacing was good and the story was excellent. I would highly recommend this book series to anyone that likes adventure as well as a good romance because this book series really had it all! :)

Ama-freaking-zing! This was everything I expected and more from Miss Armentrout. Like always there is always parts of the book that will have you laughing out loud and other parts that will have you emotional. I've been waiting for this book to come out since finishing Origin and it's bittersweet that this is the end of the series. To think I was once hesitant about reading a book involving aliens but definitely no regrets at all. I have loved the Lux series so much and will definitely miss Damon and Katy! I can't wait to see what Jennifer Armentrout has for us next!!

Some endings are better than others especially in the land of books. One thing that is similar is the feeling if loss. For years you stalk the authors blog for teasers, countdown widgets and pre orders are your life.

In the land of Lux I fell in love, cried screamed and laughed. This series was and always will be special. I will miss these characters but I'm glad for the minutes, days, weeks and years I've spent loving them.

Bravo Jennifer Armentrout for writing one of my favorite series evah!! I loved this book, stayed up until 2:30am to finish. I'm really going to miss Katy and Daemon and the whole gang. I really hope that Luc gets his own book, he deserves it with his bad a$$ ways! ;) then we'll be able to catch up on everyone else..lol goodbye my Lux book friends, you will be missed! :)

OMG! One of the Best Series Ever! Sincerely hoping it makes it to theaters! The connection and passion between the main characters is amazing. I absolutely loved how their relationship evolved! This series has everything you could want including action, out of this world foes, government conspiracy and romance! I actually read the series twice once I found out about the book from the male lead's perspective. This is a definite read!!

Simply amazing. I honestly don't think there are even words to describe how epic this conclusion was. I didn't think it was possible but armentrout has done it again. Daemon was taken to a whole new level of awesome!!! There were too many one-liners from him to count. It was one big reveal after another with all our favorite characters from the last book and a few new ones. The new villains will have your head exploding and many lines were crossed as the world became this big gray area where right and wrong just didn't make sense. This was a sit at home for hours ignore the world and never
eat book. The action was nail biting and katy definitely stepped up to the plate. What an awesome way to end this crazy series. Thanks so much armentrout for writing this and as sad that as I am that it had to end I am proud to be a part of the daemon invasion!

The beginning and near the end of this book gutted me. The rest was delicious and funny. The dual POV continued to be a bonus for me. I love hearing the internal dialogue of Daemon Black. This will continue to be one of my favorite series.

I devoured this baby and hate that it’ all over now ☹! There was so much action, angst, drama and of course Katy’s sassy mouth and Daemon’s bad as* self! What an ending! I’m really going to miss these characters and Jennifer’s alien world. Now what am I gonna read? Great Lux ending! Loved this series and will continue to read more of Jennifer's work!

Fantastic! Can you tell that I loved it. Firstly, the author didn't miss a beat from previous books. The characters were refreshed so nothing was lost. Secondly, the pace was excellent. As soon as the action slowed you knew something was on the horizon. Lastly, the story was great from start to finish. I loved the characters. Can you tell I liked the series??

You will fall in love with these characters from the first chapter of obsidian. They quickly become a part of your world. There isn't a book by Jennifer L. Armentrout that I wouldn't, or haven't, taken the time to read since first stumbling across this series. Even months after putting the book down, you will feel like Daemon and Katy are out there somewhere. That's about the time you will find yourself reading the whole series again.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a great end to a wonderful series (my favorite, actually!) I love JLA's writing, and her character development. There is a lot of comparison/reminiscing for the characters to the first book, which is great because we can see how far Daemon and Katy have come. They are adorable and I LOVE Daemon and his hysterical humor. The ending is absolutely perfect!

I am crying tears of joy and sadness. This series has been one of my favorites and I'm devastated to see it end but the ending however is so beautiful. It leaves this tingle of warmth inside your heart and makes you sad and happy at the same time. I will miss reading about Kat and Daemon adventures. They are like the perfect couple and they deserved the happy ending. I just want to commend Jennifer Armentrout on an amazing ending of a fantastic series that I will always remember and love.

Didn't think I would like reading about aliens,but I did. Jennifer knew how to suck me into their world. Wasn't ready for the end but it was time for Katy and Daemon to find normalcy. I would love to delve deeper into stories of the Origins. She tyed up all the loose ends and gave us peace of mind that they had their peaceful ending.

The entire series is a relaxing and enjoyable one. Not the most realistic characters (I have to admit one cannot expect much in this regard from an alien and a transformed human) but the story is an interesting imagination exercise. In my opinion books one and five are the best, but on an average, the series deserves 4 stars.

This entire series was fantastic. Never drug on .... kept me reading and wishing that the last book had been out sooner. Often times I wont read the last book of the series because its just more of the same.... like the author was trying to make a little more bank out of it and squeezed it for everything she or he could. Not true with this series. I would recommend it to young and old alike.

So I started this books after having Obsidian in my Kindle library for over a year. And once I started I just couldn't stop. I loved Katy and Daemon so much ! They went to hell and back a few times and still held on. I love an epic love story with lots of twist and turns. And so much Drama. It took me a while to get through Opposition probably because I knew that it was the last book. However I couldn't have asked for a better ending.

This series, is by far, one of my absolute favorite series of all time. I've read these books for years, desperate for the next book as soon as I finished one.

Opposition, the last book in the series, was everything a book should be. The plot, the characters, everything was perfect. It brought the series together as a whole and gave you as much closure as was possible with this type of book. (Who knows what the evil Luxen will do next?)

I absolutely love Jennifer L. Armentrout's books and this one was no exception.
