the book is not interesting. it is poorly written. my child is not entertained by it at all and neither an i. The phrase "diapers are not forever" only appears once in the entire book and the idea is very poorly developed/addressed.

This board book does an excellent job of introducing the concept of potty training to young children. Using simple illustrations and concise language, a diverse group of children demonstrate how to use the bathroom. “Girls sit down to pee or poop. Then they wipe and flush. Boys can do the same and also can pee standing up.” The straightforward text and pictures are effective and engaging. My daughter loved this book and asked for it night after night during our potty training process. Lastly, it provides tips on potty training for parents and care givers in the back.

We purchased all of the Elizabeth Verdick books for use with our children. They are well written, great pictures, and extremely easy for a toddler to understand. So glad that we found these books and have them in our parent toolbox.

Ugghhh...another book to potentially help with toilet training that uses the word "potty". How much more can we dumb down Americans? Let's use the words with our children we'd use with each other so they don't sound like fools...if an adult said "potty" in everyday conversation it would be awkward and silly, but we teach our kids this useless word only to have to retrain them a few years later to use the correct terminology?!? Think of the brain space available to our children if we only used correct language from the beginning.
