Fun read, enjoyed the stories of the portraits and the ghosts who inhabit Hogwarts. Wish there was more about the friendship between the founders - especially about the tricks and adventures they had.

I would have liked more in-depth knowledge. It seemed that quite a bit of what was talked about was already revealed in the novels. Nevertheless, it was fun reliving and imaging the world of Hogwarts!

Great book for the true Potter head. However if you are looking for actual stories you will be disappointed as this book reads like a history book rather than a novel/story. I enjoyed it very much as I am a Potter head

I've always wished Hogwarts, A History and History of Magic were real books so I could learn more about the Wizarding world, so getting a little glimpse of that information here was great. The only problem is that it leaves me wanting more.

This book makes for a great wellspring of information if you should be looking for more in depth histories on the world of Harry Potter. I also particularly enjoyed that many of the items have insights from Rowling herself on them.

Another good read from J.K. Rowling. She talked about some things that I've always wondered about the Wizarding World that weren't mentioned in the HP books. Great information giving in the quick read.

I liked reading the authors thoughts behind the different items or people. This was something I turned to when I had to wait for a movie to start, or for an appointment, as the small sections were quick and easy to return to.

Wished it could have been longer but it was really nice to be back in the HP world again. This book isn't like the other HP books in terms of storytelling, but Rowling's voice stays true to her previous series and makes it easy to jump back into the world of Hogwarts. Very informative. Would definitely recommend to a true Harry Potter fan.

5 stars as a hungry-for-more Wizarding World fan! Anybody who hasn't at least seen the movies (but more so the books) should skip it. I loved reading the author's additional thoughts. I hope she keeps writing more

Interesting reading about the Wzarding World at least, even though most of it has been available for free on Pottermore. Besides, it's the closest thing we have to a Wizarding World encyclopedia right now.
