The 39 Clues Book 1: The Maze of Bones

This book has been an excellent source of entertainment. While it is well below the reading level of what usually read I have enjoyed it and have been unable to predict it's outcome. I would suggest this book for Middle school aged children and up because it does deal with the death and injury of various characters. Not graphic in nature but possibly confusing and complicated for younger children to read on their own. Feel free to purchase this book, it is worth the price.

Excellent! Story moves quickly with fun characters. Great read! Can't wait to read the rest of the series. It's fun to play along with the characters online and collect the cards for more clues! My kids and I

I am a seventh-grader and just finished reading this book. It was great! I liked finding the clues from around the world and the interesting characters. In the Kindle version, the font size for picture captions was very blurry. I recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery and adventure. I just downloaded book 2.

After a virtual tour of the Smithsonian with the author of the 39 clues series-the class and myself were hooked! I download the book because I left my library's copy in the classroom for my class to finish while I went on a family vacation, Elementary (2nd-5th) and adults will enjoy this exciting mystery series.

grandson called me yesterday to say this was one of the best books he's read. this from someone who loved the first 4 percy jackson books and all 7 of the harry potter series. can't wait for the next one. thank you

Love this book! My daughter's English class is reading this book, since we loved Rick Riordan's other books I thought I would buy a copy to read myself. Very glad I did. I can't wait to get the rest of the series :)
