Capital Starship (Ixan Legacy Book 1)

Logs of twist and turns a book that I can happily say couldn't put it down till I was done. Yet another piece of great fiction my this amazing author. Nothing that I have read by him has been bad :) can't wait for the next one

Cards on the table, Scott is a good friend of mine. This book is a slight departure from what I expected, but in a marvelous way. It's hard to believe he can pump out all the quality fiction he writes so quickly, but that is a testament to his work ethic and rugged good looks.

The politics of the “Capital Starship” so enraged me it was hard to read a lot at one time. Its funny though cause until I read this I always viewed our current political situation differently. Seriously, just substitute the america for the starship, the president for the captain and the economy (at large) for the war and its America today! And I was shocked.... SHOCKED... cause as I was reading I was totally behind the captain.

Liked the first series , this book is in the same vane. Ok read but the author seems obsessed he spends alot of time making a liberal government one of the key villains in this book . Surprised the Captians last name wasn't Trump. The constant liberal=bad is ham fisted and takes away from immersion of the book I kept waiting for one of the ships to be named the USS Ayen Rand.
