I have read almost everything this author has written and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique storyline. Ella seems almost childlike but no wonder, she has not had a lot of good childhood experiences. It is a wonder she is such good natured but accepting of the evil things in life. This story had a great plot and unique characters. I enjoyed it very much.

Eve Langlais has become one of my favorite writers. Her characters are always interesting, and her story lines intriguing. I have read many of her books and been charmed by every one. I hope there is a follow up to this book.

This story was hilarious, mysterious, and sexy all in one.
Ella meets Zane while she is a patient in a mental institute. Zane is a vampire who likes to feed on the patients in the mental institute because he finds it easier. However, Ella has just been transferred to this particular institute so they meet one night. On this night Ella wakes up and talks to Zane instead of falling under his compulsion. Zane finds her very intriguing and comes back to see her. Little does he know, she is there for a good reason, she hears voices.....many voices. Not only does she hear them but they can manipulate objects around her.
Zane is determined to get to the bottom of it, Ella wants to have a normal life, and to top it off there are evil forces out to harm Ella and use her for their own gain.
Ella's reactions to Zane are hilarious and cute at the same time. They also have some steamy scenes when the voice aren't interfering.
This is definitely on my re read shelf and I read this book over and over again whenever I need a quick, fun read.

Loved, loved, loved this book. I love Eve Langlais' ability to create characters that I fall in love with, characters that are different enough to stand apart from the crowd. Loved the heroine (a mental patient who hears voices) and the hero (a powerful vamp) who both grow and develop throughout the story. Drew me in from chapter one and I didn't want to put it down till I got my happily ever after. Would definitely like to read more.

I read this book as part of the Tall, Dark, and Alpha boxed set.

I've read several of Eve Langlais' heroes but never a vampire one before, and I loved the jaded guy. I like how EL wrote Zane as almost over the top, especially with the cape. He's this odd mix of other-worldly, old world and modern. You have to love a vamp who can flip his cape, float to the ground and then press the key fob to his car. And with lines like, "I know better than to play with my food," you can't help but be charmed by the bad boy.

As for the heroine, she hears dead people. Yes, it's just as odd and funny as you think, yet also a little sad at the same time. Ella's been locked away from ages seven to twenty-five in a psychiatric institution. Everyone thinks she's crazy with the many different voices she hears in her head. Sometimes these voices manifest themselves physically and with great effect, always protecting her, always predicting what will be, and always freaking other people out, everyone except Zane who is intrigued and captivated by Ella.

For Ella, Zane is a chance to live free and to be loved for once in her life. For Zane, Ella is the person who doesn't look at him with disgust or with fear but with love and longing. Just two lonely people finding each other and love in the psych ward where Zane often shows up for his "blood buffet." This unlikely place and these two unusual characters make for a sexy and quirky paranormal romance. This is a fairly quick read (62 kindle pages), but it was a nice bit of sweet fun.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Crazy by Eve Langlais is Book One in the Crazy Ella In Love series. I can't recommend this book highly enough! I laughed at all the antics of Ella and her voices. This really cute quick read is just what the doctor ordered for a stress free, fun time out! Poor Zane! This is a great introduction to a new series that will keep you coming back for more! A fabulous combination of humor, snark, great characters, steamy sex and supernatural creatures that will leave you holding your sides from laughing so hard. Five out of six voices in my head loved this book, the sixth voice is just singing as loud as she can!

The characters Eve created with this book are fun, sexy, mysterious, and capture your attention. The plot is well thought out and wraps up nicely, without leaving you wondering (or frustrated) at the end... mostly. I'm really hoping she'll eventually write a second book, so we can find out more about Ella's parents and prophesy. This book was so fun to read!

I gave this book five stars because of its subject matter. The title had me curious so I decided to take a chance. It didn't disappoint me at all. It started out rather sad, reminding me out people are afraid of things they don't understand. They rather put them away and not deal with them. As a child always different from everyone hearing voices. Unfortunately because of their flaws her parents abandoned her. Even though she had no one who cared about her she survives being in a mental institution from the age of seven to twenty five years. She excepted that she was considered crazy. I liked most of the characters in this book. I hope that is more to come.

Ella always heard voices, she ended up locked up in an asylum at a young age. She was called crazy by her peers and Ella started to believe it as well. The voices didn't like anyone but all of that changed the day she met a sexy as sin man by the name of Zane.

Zane , a vampire who wanted to . He met Ella and instantly he felt things he never felt in decades. He brough her home as he planned to seduce her but the voices are determined to keep Zane away from the woman he wanted. And the sexy vampire wasn't about to give up without a fight.

Zane and Ella's first encounter was a funny one. She ignored his command and was fired lots of enquiries at him. Ella intrigued him. While Zane tried to help Ella deal with the voices, there was someone who wanted to use the voices for their own personal and evil plans.

Turned out Ella was more powerful than she thought. Zane was successful in helping her with the voices. She learned to control them in a way that was beneficial to everyone.

CRAZY is a standalone paranormal novel by Eve Langlais...it was beautiful, funny, fascinating and a must read. Eve Langlais did a great job. You all should give this book a chance.
