This is perfect for a travel companion. On longer trips, my little girl loves to listen to her iPod and doodle in her scratch and sketch. She prefers this kind...the ones you can trace the pretty pictures. Lots of fun for any age!

Purchased for my just-turned eight year old daughter. She enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Pretty much finished in two days, but now she is going in and adding details and scratching off larger blocks of areas to let the background show through. Originally gave it to her at the dentist office where it left a layer of scratch-off dust, so probably better for home use on a table that can easily be cleaned. Will be purchasing another of a different theme. Surprisingly, my five year old son (who got the vehicles version) also liked this activity.

This is a nice activty book for children who like mermaids. It's somewhat hard to find a mermaid book that isn't about Uber mermaid, Ariel.

I bought this for my little cousin who loves, mermaids, but isn't crazy about Ariel. She doesn't *hate* Ariel. She's just not partial to the Disney icon.

She loved the activity book. Her parents loved that she had a book to entertain herself and I loved that she enjoyed the gift.

Pros: Fun activity book about mermaids that isn't about Ariel.

Cons: Not a good choice if you an activity book about Ariel.
