The Prayer That Changes Everything® Book of Prayers

I purchased 10 books with the intention of gifting them but when I received them, I realized I ordered the wrong book. So the lesson learned is to check the total number of pages in the book before purchasing. However, I am very satisfied with the store because my money was credited very quickly.

After just finishing "The Prayer that Changes Everything, Prayer & Praise Journey" book I've just turned to the front and began re-reading the scriptures and my journey notes and making 3x5 scripture cards, because these scriptures are so powerful. This journey has indeed strengthened my faith, and I want it memorized and printed on my heart. I usually don't like skipping around the Bible, but many of these scriptures are the heart of the journey, and Ms. Omartian has highlighted them for us to remember and treasure. An apothecary of promises!

My daughter first gave me this little nugget of gold. The book is loaded with situations we face daily and a prayer. It leads me into a deeper prayer time. I have given it to friends, one who is battling cancer,she said it was a favorite of hers because it is short, meets her every situation, and is easily used as a daily devotional when there is not time or energy.

It is a great gift to give to those you love and very affordable. I need to get more!

This is an awesome book with powerful prayers.Though I did not purchase my book from this site (I wanted it in my hands right away and couldn't wait so long for it to arrive by mail) I wanted to comment on the content of the book. I am enjoying reading the prayers over and over to uplift me daily, give me hope and reaffirm my faith. I would definitely recommend this book.

When life seems hopeless with no place to turn for encouragment, Stormie encourages you how the power of praising and talking to God in prayer can give you the power you need to lift you out of some of life's most difficult pits. She reminds you that GOD ALMIGHTY is ALWAYS there ready to listen and act upon His Word. She teaches you through examples of how to talk to the Heavenly Father and make Him your Father in time of trouble. Often times we say, "I can't talk to God because I don't know how to pray." I had just had my anti-depression medications rebalanced and was lying in bed thinking how hopeless everything was. I had bought this book because my prayer group was going to study it together. I couldn't pray but happened to pick up the book to take a look~ just reading the book jacket starting me thinking that I could pray with praise. I had started feeling that I couldn't pray anymore. I felt a tiny glimmer of hope.
Now that my meds have taken effect and we are studying this book together and praising the Lord, every day gets better and better.

Stormie is passionate about prayer and loving through prayer. Her books are inspiration and show the heart of a woman who truly loves her Lord. She helps us feel comfortable in journeying to the foot of a loving God.

I have several of Stormie Omartian's books, and I love them all! Before I found her books on prayer, I never really got much out of trying to pray other people's written prayers, but now hardly a day goes by that I don't pray her prayers for my husband, children, grandchildren, and myself. I have gained so much insight from reading portions of "The Prayer that Changes Everything" each day for my personal devotions the past several weeks.

I read this daily devotional every morning. I like the organization of the book which takes you from Genesis to Revelation. At the end of every reading is a prayer pertinent to the message for that day. It is so much on target. This devotional has been a great inspiration to me.

I had purchased this book when I was going through some very difficult times. I have had it about 4 years now, & keep going back to it. I purchased it for two friends who were going throuh a difficult time. I recommend it to anyone, it is comforting & will strenghten your faith.

Often things are hard to voice & we have problems getting and keeping out minds on prayer this book really helps you with this. Thoughts and prayers for your loved ones or for trying situations. I purchase this book for gifts. It is the greatest gift of all PRAYER!!!!!
