This book is awesome! I never knew about the beginning of her life. You can really sense the love she had for her family and most of all for Desi Arnaz. The way she talks about their first meeting and how much the were in love was really stunning. Most of the book is dedicated to how great and special he was. She even told the stories about his faults in a way that showed how much she really did care for him. It was touching when she talked about how she wanted to be such a great wife and only wanted to make Desi happy, they were both very flawed people that accomplished something great. I was glad she only talked about Gary for a couple of pages. OVerall, it was a terrific read and I would recommend it to anyone that loves Lucy and Desi.

This is a great book, very entertaining and you get a really good glimpse into Lucy's life and what driving forces and life situations cased her to push herself as far as she did. She was of a different generation, different ideas and certainly much tougher and more accepting than most of us are today. A good glimpse into a bygone era and the inside scoop on old Hollywood.

I am usually not a big autobiography person. However, I am a huge Lucille Ball fan so I decided to give it a try. I found the book to be captivating. It really pulled me in and kept me hooked. It was interesting to learn what was going on behind the scenes during the filming of "I LOVE LUCY". This is must read for true Lucy fans!

I just received my copy of Lucille Ball's autobiography "Love, Lucy" last night and I have not been able to put it down since. The Forward by Lucie Arnaz in the beginning of the book made my heart melt and once upon reading the first three an four chapters, I felt like I have got to know Lucy better. I highly recommend this book to any Lucy fan. You won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book. So interesting for people who love Lucy like me. But also an interesting read if you don't...she had a really different life. She glosses over anything she might have done which was 'unpleasant' like having an affair with a married with children producer to advance her career, but I forgive her for that. She's really pretty artful describing this incident; I thought it was funny how she made it sound how she had nothing much to do with the situation! Good book though and great pictures.
