Mine

If you liked Dean Koontz's INTENSITY, you'll love this book which contains many of the same elements including a calculating psychotic killer, and a victim who struggles against insurmountable obstacles .... in this case to rescue her baby from a madwoman. I can't recommend this book highly enough. It is one of the best in this genre, and the characters are drawn superbly. It's a real page turner. I've always judged a thriller by its ability to surprise me at every next page, and this one wins hands down. If I can't guess what's going to happen next, I consider myself entertained. If you enjoy suspense thrillers, you'll love this one.

This book is a mainstream novel about a mentally ill woman who kidnaps a baby. It gets exciting when the baby's mother decides to go
BY HERSELF to get her baby back. It is scary but not very realistic. I can , however , recommend this book to those not looking for
science fiction or fantasy.

I think that Robert McCammon is a great writer. You don't get bored reading his books,once you start you have to finish it. "Mine" mixes history with fiction. It's a real thriller. Suspence and action is what makes a book worthwhile and intresting.

He knows how to tell a story... The character Mary is real, terrifying and evil! I feel the character if Laura and her husband could have been built up more and I found myself skimming through the chase scenes... They got to be a bit much, but was a true McGammon story, though not up to par as his other top books.

This is a juggernaut of a novel. McCammon is one of the best authors out there and crafts a palpable nightmare out of tangable characters. Extreemly hard to put down-exciting, horrific, and suspenseful. MINE delivers the goods.

It kept me spellbound from beginning to end. I barely got any sleep until I was finished because it's so hard to put down. A terrifying portrayal of one woman's descent into madness and another woman's descent into a living nightmare.

This was a really great book. Any book must hold my interest from the start, or I lose interest. This is a page turner of the highest order, especially if you are a McCammon fan. Highest recommendation.

This book is faced paced,action packed and very exciting. I discovered Robert McCammon many years ago and this is my favorite of his books (although his new Frankenstein book was an excellent read also)>
