"He looked dangerous. He reminded me of a bad habit. He was something I knew I shouldn't want, but I felt myself gravitating toward him regardless."

I've had this book on my TBR list for awhile...(the never ending to be read list), but I just hadn't picked it up yet. And it wasn't that I didn't want to, just review books kept getting in the way. I finally just threw caution to the wild and picked it up. And boy was I glad. I mean I DEVOURED this book. I started it at 11pm and finished it the next morning. Yes, it is that good!

"I may have been a good girl then, but you destroyed every piece of her. I actually feel bad for Emily, because you, Parker James, are where good girls go to die."

This was my first book by Holly Renee and it totally didn't disappoint. Everything in this book had me devouring pages and left begging for more. Olivia was a good girl, she always had been but that all changed when she fell in love with her brothers best friend... Parker James. He was nothing but a bad boy on the inside, but he treated her like glass and her teenage heart ate every piece of that up. That was until he broke her and she ran.

Parker never knew why Olivia ran and so much as left him without a goodbye. He was so many unanswered questions. But that's all in the past. Parker is a tattoo artist, living out his drawing dreams...imprinting his art on those who pay. He thinks he has everything he could ever want, that is until Olivia is thrust back into his life in a very unwelcoming way.

"I didn't want him to love me tenderly. I wanted him to bury his hands in my hair and get lost in me. I wanted him to bruise my lips and stain my skin with his need."

Olivia never planned on coming face to face with Parker again, especially in these circumstances. But she can't run from him now and she wants him. But she knows she can never have him now. They had their time and now their time has passed. But that doesn't mean they stop loving each other. Are they willing to fight for their love and try again? Or is Parker James really where good girls go to die?

"I would take being bad with Parker James a million times over being good with anyone else."

This was such my kind of book in every way. I wanted more! I still want more! Haha. This book was everything and more. If you love a tattooed bad boy then this is the book for you.

The title alone is very catchy and the reason why I gave this book a chance. This book was awesome sauce. Like, I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and I enjoyed the characters Parker and Livy. This is my first book from this author and I must say that I am glad that I took a chance because she is talented. Characters, Parker and Livy, are high school sweethearts who breaks apart and four years later reunites again. Lies, secrets, and a pregnancy causes them to break apart. This book goes back and forth between past and present to show the blossoming of their young love and the ultimate demise of their relationship. The books starts out with Livy being a stripper and from there the book takes off. She is called to dance for a bachelor party and little does she know that the bachelor is Parker. And guess who else is in attendance? Her brother. Yuck and that is very uncomfortable. Her brother demands that she comes home with him and quit her job. Forced to get back into the real world, Livy decides to work at Parker's friend tattoo and has no idea that Parker is part owner of the shop.

Although I enjoyed this book, there were a couple of things that did not sit well with me. The relationship between Livy and Parker was a huge misunderstanding. If they had simply had a conversation the events that took place would not have happened. Parker is Olivia's brother best friend and I expect a showdown between Parker and Mason, but all I got was a dud. There is no explanation on how Livy turned to stripping and if she dropped out of college or not. Livy basically gave up because of her failed relationship with Parker. I liked Livy because she was funny, feisty, but she had no self-esteem and no back bone when it came to Parker and she allowed herself to sleep with someone else's man. Not Cool, Livy. I liked Parker, but there was simply nothing else revealed about him.

The ending was not my favorite thing about this story because it just ends. There is no epilogue or an additional chapter telling me how their relationship worked out. The ending was too abrupt for me and I needed closure.

Besides these flaws, the story is solid and it kept me entertained with the heat and chemistry. I do recommend this book for all of my second-chance romance lovers.

I absolutely loved this book...it caught my attention and kept it from the very first scenes in the strip club, to the heartbreaking past and love story between Parker and Liv. It combined my favorite things...an unconventional romance, tattooed bad-boys, angst-filled family drama and a whole lot of misunderstandings leading to devastating consequences.
I'm not afraid of books with "cheaters" or situations where we might feel uncomfortable or get angry...that's what real life is like and WGGGTD is very real and exactly what I needed to read today.
I loved this author's style of writing and her thought processes as she penned this story. I will definitely read more from her in the future.

I feel a very unshakeable book hangover coming on.
I have no words for this book.....but yet...I have so many words. I don't even know where to start.
Holly did not wait to grab you by the balls. From the very start of the book I was hooked. The bombs starting dropping in chapter one and didn't stop until "The End". My heart was racing from start to finish.
The back and forth between the history and the present left me breathless the entire story. I feel like my heart has been brought through meat grinder, barely making it out okay on the other side.
This is my favorite second chance love story, EVER. The chase for the HEA is strong with this one.
The journey Holly takes you on is one you will not recover from easily. Everything that happens between Liv and Parker is intense, it's crazy, it's over the top, and I loved EVERY. FREAKIN. MINUTE.
The love between these two is undeniable, undying, and ever lasting. Going along for the ride with them you will want to strangle both of them while simultaneously wrapping them up together and forcing them so see what they continue to miss.
While I instantly fell in love with the storyline, Holly's writing.....I don't even know how to do it justice. Her words.....they do things to your heart and soul. She is so incredibly gifted and this tale is beautifully scripted. She writes in a way that the feelings of the characters come alive on the pages, you feel them with every beat of your heart and every breath you take. They wrap around your entire being and consume you.
I've been waiting awhile to read this book.....and Jay-sus...it was more than worth the wait.
If you are tired of reading the same type of story line over and over on repeat.....this is the perfect book for you to dive into.
And dive you will my friends. But's it's a plunge you will never regret.

This is my first book by Holly. It definitely won't be my last. I flew thru it quick. There were times I found myself skipping through.

We all fall in love. For Liv it was Parker. He just happens to be her older brother Mason's best friend. She knew her bro would have a heart attack. Plus, she knows Parker looks at her as his best friends little sister. Until, one day she realizes he doesn't. They start this whirlwind romance. She's his Livy and wants to forever. Then, one day she's told something that guts her. Liv does what she has to in order to protect her heart. Packs up and leaves.

Four years later she's in for a shock of a lifetime. Things haven't turned out the way she planned. But, when her brother and Parker walk into her job her heart stops. When Mason literally throws Liv over his shoulder and removes her, she knows things are about to get worse. Liv is around Parker everyday. If that wasn't bad enough he's engaged and the countdown to the day is around the corner. Liv needs to save her heart. They might agree to be friends. But, Liv doesn't wanna be around him and only talks when need be.

Parker has always love Livy. Even now four years later. It doesn't matter that he's engaged. His love for his fiancé is nothing like it is for Livy. His fiancé is safe. Makes him feel safe. But, Livy. She's all fire and everything spicy. She makes Parker feel like nobody ever has. Now, she's back and in his everyday life. Parker is starting to loose his will to stay away from her.

This is definitely on the shorter book read. There was a bunch of times that I'd be really getting into the story and bam it would switch timeframe and I'd have to get back into the story all over again. It killed the mood for me a bunch of times. But, it was still a quick and extremely hot read. Extremely hot! Add that Parker's a tattoo artist who's covered in tattoos. OMG!! I also really loved Mason, Brandon and Stacie. They brought so much humor to these two I was weak at times. I hope their stories are next!

OMG this book!!! I am always up for the forbidden best friend's sister romance and so I've read a bunch. It takes a lot to keep me as engrossed as this author has done but she did it!!! This book had me from the very beginning and didn't let me out of its clutches until the very end. My heart took a beating that I just wasn't sure if it would ever end but man what a ride. I am definitely adding this to my favorite books list. The characters are not only funny but there is so many sides to them, especially heartbreak, that they will have you sucked in and begging for more.

This book is Parker and Livy's story and what a story it is. If this is any indecation of how the rest of this series is going to go than count me in because this was so good. This book is about how a forbidden love can all go wrong when secrets, betrayal, miscommunication, fear, pain, and heartbreak can make what could be something amazing into something painful. How when you don't face what is hurtful and you run you could really miss out on something.

Livy left 4 years ago and hasn't looked back. Her heart can't take the pain that Parker caused but suddenly he is in her life again and there is more heartbreak on the horizon. Rest assured though that even through all the heartbreak and the realization that she isn't the one for Parker anymore, she stays strong. She is the type of woman we all want to be. She takes no prisoners, tells it like it is and isn't abou to let someone run her over. She has to be one of my all time favorite female lead characters. Parker, man did I want to hurt him but as you read the more you understand and the more you fall in love.

I highly recommend this book. I didn't read the blurb before I got to reading this and I wasn't sure what to expect but god am I glad that I picked this book. It is a must read and I seriously need to own the paperback for my collection with this one!

Holly Renne!!!! OMG woman you had me 100 % involved from the first paragraph. It has been a while that I have been so emerged in a book! I was on pins and needles the whole time waiting on each new word to see how this whole story played out.

Livy, a twenty two year old, who has run away from her former life when it was turned into a mess. Life as she know it just became to hard to live through so she did the only thing she could, leave. leave her family, leave her life and just attempt to survive.

Parker, Livy's older brother's best friend and oh the one she has loved for as long as she can remember. He broker her heart and his too with a simple act.

Living a life by numbing herself to the world is the only way Livy knows how to continue. Parker thinks he want something safe, safe will make him happy. But will safe make him happy.

This story of love gone a rye, blooms into feelings that rise to the surface making Parker and Livy realize these feelings really never left. How can they figure out how to continue on living while their hearts and desires can not let the past go and how can they fins a way to moving on pas all this.

Holly Renee captures our hearts with this beautiful read of love and how even what everyone sees as right finds a way pf being wrong. She tears on the readers hearts and finds a way to pull on their love strings. She has perfectly captured a broken heart and how hard it is to want to live with it. She make you understand how one loves buts will not pursue it. Being the better person is not always the right choice to make. Bravo Holly you made my live love and feel again while reading this lovely story.

Well firstly can I take a moment to mention that in a world stacked full of books the title of this book successfully caught my attention I truly was intrigued to know where good girls would go to die?...... this is a second chance bad boy and, for that matter, bad girl romance....and I loved it....emotionally charged and filled with humour I felt sadness, happiness and anger as I became totally involved in the lives of Parker and Liv....

Told from the two main characters point of view, the story moves swiftly between the past and present..sometimes this can effect the flow of the narrative but on this occasion it provided an insight into how the current complex relationship between the two had evolved without the need for overlong explanations...

Parker James has got to be one of the sexiest men I have had the pleasure of getting to know a perfect combination of hot, protective, funny and a gentleman with tats....swoon...I loved the connection between him and Liv who was so smart and sassy not to mention the bromance and banter between Parker and his best friends...all of the characters were well written, believable and I would love to read more about all of them.....

The only gripe I had was the one I always have with this genre and that is how can two people who are clearly so perfect for each other be so obtuse and mess everything up so badly....on more than one occasion I wanted to shake some sense into them... but I suppose if there wasn't any angst the story would be a helluva lot shorter and less interesting....

This was a great book...bittersweet, funny, romantic and sexy in good measure...I am so looking forward to reading more in this series......This book was reviewed for Summer's Eve Reads..

This is my first Holly Renee book, but it definitely won't be my last! It was so easy to get caught up in this story, I was able to read the entire book in about 3 hours. During a work day. But I digress.

So this is Parker's and Liv's story, and it's everything you think young love should be, but with the added twist of a jealous ex, a bachelor party and being found at your unconventional place of work and subsequently rescued. This story is told in flashbacks between 4 years ago and present time. I gotta give it up to Brandon, Parker's best friend. I could see how he would be voted class clown, but he really had insight into Parker and his feelings, and made no bones about it. When he got serious, you knew it was with the best intention to get Parker to see the light. And he was always right. I loved that both Brandon and Staci accepted Liv right away, even if Brandon was devious when he offered a job to Liv.

As much as it really wasn't important to the overall story, I do wish we'd gotten some more insight to Parker's current relationship: how in the world did they meet and manage to get as far in their relationship as they did? One thing I got tired of quickly was Parker's reaction whenever Liv would interact with other guys, so I was all "thank you baby jesus" when she finally called him on his behavior. But the best was Staci really setting him straight. The caveman schtick is cute, but if you're not on the market, you lose the right to make comments about how someone else is living their life.

So Holly Renee has earned herself another fan, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Mason, Brandon and even Staci get their own stories sometime in the future.

I loved Holly Renee’s tangled love story Where Good Girls Go To Die.

Livy had been in love with her brother’s best friend, Parker for as long as she could remember. She knew things didn’t get better than him. When Parker finally admitted he was in love with Livy too, sparks flew and their secret love began.

However, a vengeful ex-girlfriend causes an unfixable rift between Parker and Livy. Caught in the lies and their aftermath, Livy runs.

More than four years later, Parker reappears in Livy’s life . . . at the clubs she is stripping at, for his bachelor’s party. When the awkward evening causes Livy to lose her job, she is headed back home and now must find a way to live her life, knowing that the man she can’t seem to get over is engaged to be married and just as unavailable as he was when she ran four years ago.

When fate continues to throw Parker and Liv together, they are both forced to face their feelings and decide what it is they want and need from one another. Of course, it doesn’t help that they also find themselves working together daily thanks to Parker’s friend and business partner Brandon.

Holly Renee has created a fantastic love story that is full of angst, humor and second chances. Liv and Parker both made choices they have to live with. I enjoyed watching how they circled around one another waiting to see if they would give their love a second chance. Side characters Brandon and Staci provided a fantastic touch of humor to this tale and helped push Liv and Parker along in the right direction.

This was a fun book with just the right mix of hope and regret, angst and new beginnings. 4.5 stars.

Where Good Girls Go To Die is the first installment of the Good Girl series by Holly Renee.

When Olivia (Liv) was younger, each day was a test of her will when it came to Parker. For years she’s held her emotions in check, but nothing prepared her of the ultimate heartbreak he would bring her. Even though years have passed, Liv can’t forget Parker. She was a good girl…until he destroyed her heart.

Parker knew he shouldn’t have loved Liv, but nothing stopped him from making his move on his best friends sister. Until she ran away from him. Years passed and he moved on, but when she’s in front of him again after all these years, his pandora box is open once more. This time, he’s not sure he’ll survive.

Will Parker be able to resolve the past before Liv runs off again or will these wounds forever be fresh?

Where Good Girls Go To Die was…addicting. From the first page I was a addicted and had to know what secrets Parker and Liv hid. I absolutely highly enjoyed the chemistry between these two when they were younger, and even more so as an adult. With every page you could feel the sexual tension between these two as they try to come to terms with the past. But nothing is that easy. Especially with a woman who’s scorn and a man determined to right his wrongs. Holly Renee is a new author to me and I can tell you right now, she just earned herself a life long reader. The story flows perfectly as we get to unravel the past and present with Liv and Parker.

Highly recommend for those who love suspense, second chances and a whole lot of sexual tension!

****SOME SPOILERS****

This is the first book that I've read by this author and it’s a total page turner.

This book flits between the past and present with both Pov's of the two main characters. There's great friendships between the characters in this book.
Secrets, heartbreak, lust, love and sex

Olivia Conner moves away, changing her image and going by Liv. Liv drops all her family and past to drop her underwear on the strip club floor. But her past is watching her strip and he's the one she fled from her brother's best friend Parker. Now dragged home by her brother, Parker was thrown back into her life and he was sexier than ever and due to be married. So she's going to have to avoid him.

Parker James is at his bachelor party when he can't take his eyes off the woman working the pole, she looks familiar. She's his every thought from his past, she's hotter than ever and she's his Livy the one that got away. But now she's back in his life and every thought instead of the woman he's about to marry. He needs to stay away from her where temptations can't be made a reality.

Can they resist temptation that is like a magnetic force pulling them together?

Or will they both end up regretting parting ways over 4 years ago?

WOW! A gorgeous cover, captivating blurb and intriguing title hooked me in from the get go. But, this line from Livy's first encounter with Parker was the icing on the proverbial cake. It gave me all the feels.

"I may have been a good girl then, but you destroyed every piece of her. I actually feel bad for Emily, because you, Parker James, are where good girls go to die."

Livy thought falling in love with her brothers best friend was well worth the risk. Until, one careless mistake breaks her heart. Now, her only alternative is to accept the full scholarship from The University of Georgia and forget about Parker James. The sooner the better.

Parker wasn't looking forward to his bachelor party. In fact, his friends seemed to be having more fun than he was. Until, the sexiest woman he's ever seen walks onto the stage. Making him feel like a horny eighteen year old. Wait! No one's made him feel like that since. . .

This is my first Holly Renee book, but it won't be my last! I highly recommend Where Good Girls Go To Die for anyone who loves second chance romances. I absolutely loved it!

Holly Renee is one of my new favorite authors ... when I saw the title I was so so so curious where good girls go to die? I mean come on ...you have to be asking yourself that question to? I mean I am right, RIGHT? ( ; Loved the book, couldn't put it down. Loved it. I am such a fan now. I was hooked on the connection between Liv and Parker from the beginning of their story and/or their childhood together. It will pull at your heartstrings for sure. What a great story. I always wonder why folks just are not honest with folks they love or wanna love. Life would be so much simpler if we did that. Nuts!! I tell ya. So many less heart breaks and confusion. There are so many perfectly written scenes in this book. I hope Holly will write more for this series, for these characters, I can so see more ... I am so drawing a blank on Liv's best friend from the tattoo shop ... oh pooh, what was her name? ... Love her ... her humor or silliness is just too too great!! What she talks Liv into doing ... she gets into all sorts of wild times thanks to this girl. Makes the story even more wild. Must read!! ( ;

** Review by Kylie from Bloggers From Down Under **

“Parker’s and my love story wasn’t a perfect romance novel. It was complicated, filled with lies, heartbreak and secrets. I didn’t know if we could ever get past everything we had been through”.

Parker and Liv’s story begins four years ago. When they were younger, in love and scared of the obstacles in their way.

When Liv receives the news that changes everything, she runs. Runs away from her family. Away from her life. And away from the only man she’s ever loved.

Fast forward four years, and Liv’s life is a whole lot different now. She’s a dancer at a high end club. Imagine her surprise when, hosting a bachelor party, the same mesmerising green eyes from her past, and the man she wants to forget, come back into her life.

But it’s not easy sailing for Parker or Liv. She’s still hurt and he’s about to get married.

An intoxicating read that will hold you absolutely spellbound. I loved every thing about this book.

Holly Renee has written one emotionally captivating romance novel between a sister and her brother’s best friend with Where the Good Girls go to Die. This book has a touch of everything- humor, steamy sex, lots of angst and a wonderful story.

In Where the Good Girls go to Die, Renee tells us the story of a young girl who found love only to have it ripped from her. Running was the only way she knew how to survive the loss she felt until she runs into her lost love on the night of his bachelor party. From there Renee writes a delicious story of temptation. Parker and Liv drive the angst to a point of frustration as they tiptoe the line between friends and lovers as well as past and present. I could not put this romance down. Renee’s story flowed effortlessly until the very end.

Renee was a new discovery for me with this book. I am so very excited to see what else this author offers and has in store for her readers. I high encourage you to one click Where the Good Girls go to Die if you are a lover of temptation and angst driven stories.

I loved this book.
This is about Liv and Parker who were in love with each other since they were teenagers. But because of some mis-understandings Liv ran away and Parker went on a downward spiral of drinking and women.

Five years later, Parker is engaged and out at his bachelor party and who do they run into... Liv. And all the feelings just came crashing back.
But Parker is engaged and Mason Liv's brother dragged her back home. So what is he going to do now?

This story is about Live and Parker and about their relationship from when they were teenagers till present when Parker is engaged and Liv is back home and how they are fighting their feelings for each other. Even after all the pain and hurt they are still in love and still have this crazy chemistry.

I loved every minute of this book. And even the other characters, Brandon, Staci and Mason... I hope they all get their own books!! Whoop!

Definitely one that I would recommend!

Doesn't everyone have that one young love that got away? Livy has been in love with her older brother's best friend, Parker, ever since she can remember. She's always had to watch from afar as Parker went through girlfriend after girlfriend. But finally, FINALLY, Parker ditches his girlfriend and finally gives in to his feelings for Livy. But... fate was not on board and split these two up. Livy flees off to college and four years pass. Both Parker and Livy are miserable and just try to get through life as best they can, until a cruel twist of irony brings them back together again, and all those feelings they tried to forget came back front and center again. Livy refers to Parker as them man where good girls go to die. Livy was guarding her heart, visibly bitter for what Parker put her through. Sometimes there's just no way to avoid the inevitable, and these two were drawn like magnets. I would have liked an epilogue in this book, but I loved this second chance romance.

This story is all about Parker and Livy and their grand second chance. He was her brother’s best friend and seemed out of her league. Though she had pined after him for years, she didn’t ever think he even noticed her as anything more than her brother’s annoying little sister. Then they shared a secret love as teens, but she ran away and didn’t go back. When they found each other again, life had definitely changed for both of them.

He is HOT, tattooed, jealous, and romantic -- all of the best book boyfriend traits. Livy is a great heroine as well. She’s strong, independent and goes after what she wants.

I enjoyed the progression of this story. It wasn’t too fast and it wasn’t crazy unbelievable. The other characters really added a lot to the dynamic of Livy & Parker.

I look forward to hearing more from this author.

I just spent hours devouring this book. I scowled at my family for having the audacity to talk to me! I'm READING!! I took my kindle everywhere with me so that I could read every fantastic word, but at the same time I didn't want it to end! I have fallen for Parker and Liv and all of their friends. This book gave me everything I need: dual points of view, tattooed men, protective brother, sassy women, a few interfering females and a love that is complicated, deep and messed up.

Liv has been in love with her brother's best friend for as long as she can remember but Parker doesn't seem to feel the same. At sixteen years old they have finally admitted their feelings for each other... bliss, until it all goes wrong. Four years later they bump into each other and the story continues.

I feel like you should all go out and buy this book NOW! Make it a priority.

This was a fast paced story filled with angst, secrets, lies & heartbreak it's no sunshine walk in the park romance that's for sure but trust me it's well worth the read.

I love a good second chance romance, this one was slightly different than your other stereotypical type which made it all the more interesting. I loved Liv and Parker together their story was passionate and intense I was routing for them to get together.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm now off to check out the authors other work.

Originally, I was planning to give this book 4 stars but I had to drop my rating to 3 stars for several reasons. But first, let me start with the reasons why I liked this book. The beginning was very intriguing; how the two main characters meet again. I was interested to see how they would eventually come back together.

Now, let me dive into why I docked a star. After reading other reviews calling out the lack of character development, I had to agree with them. Especially for Liv. **BEWARE: CONTAINS SPOILERS** So Liv and Parker meet again 4 years after she graduated from high school. And she's a stripper? ...why? I thought the strip club scene was a good opener and intriguing but now I have questions. Why was she a stripper? Did she graduate from college? Because it's mentioned that she was going to Georgia and starting classes early. If she did, what was she planning to do and why did it not work out? **END SPOILERS**

There was also some careless errors that I'm not sure if other readers would catch. At the beginning of the book, the club was called "Tainted" (page 13). By the end of the book, the club was called "Toxic" (page 288)? This book was published in 2017 and there's a flashback to "four years and five and a half months earlier" and the main characters sing "Closer" by The Chainsmokers. That song was released in 2016. Minor mistakes but I couldn't help but keep my eyes peeled for more when reading.

This was the first time reading this author. I love the best friend, I've loved you forever trope and this was pretty good. The author goes past to present in alternating chapters, I really liked that. You get the real history of the H and h that way.

I also appreciated that the author didn't make Emily a bad person. She wasn't, she just wasn't our Hs one. Very believable. In fact, I wouldn't mind reading about her own happily ever after one day by this author.

Supporting characters were great. Would love to see Mason, Brandon get their stories as well. Good writing, decent plot, and an enjoyable read. I'll read more from this author.

Oh my, the angst in this story...

Olivia (Livy) has been in love with Parker as long as she can remember. And one summer, while she was 18, they got together.... But secrets and miscommunication comes between them.

Broken hearted Livy leaves for college. and a few years later Parker and Olivia's brother stumble across her working at a strip club. Refusing to leave her there they bring her back home. Only now, Olivia is staring heartbreak in the face everyday... Parker is engaged to be married.

But they two are finding it hard to resist the other. Maybe they are destined to be together after all...

Even as teenagers, your heart knows what it wants. Livy and Parker should have been together all along. The roadblocks that kept them apart were tough to overcome though, and a broken heart is not easy to mend. I cried for Livy even as I wanted to shake her to put some sense back into her. Same with Parker. Two stubborn fools trying to do the right thing, even when Livy became a bit of a wild child to escape her feelings. This book was hard to put down. I enjoyed the back and forth time frames as well as the dual POV. Great book by a new author to me, and I'd definitely want to read her again. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
