Mine To Take (Mine- Romantic Suspense Book 1)

I have mixed feelings. I loved the general story line and at times I really loved Trace, cause I sometimes like the possessive hero but there were things he said that just seemed kind of weak. And I wish there was a little more sexy time.
As far as the action goes, it was pretty good. I held my breath and screamed a couple times. Felt like I was watching an episode of Rizzoli and Isles. All in all it was a good book I didn't feel like it was a waste of time.

Really enjoyed reading this. There were interesting twists and the characters are like able. Although the possessiveness of Trace seemed a bit much, it did come from a good place. Would like to learn of his past though. Skye is stronger than she lets on but will also like to know more about her past, if that is possible.

I absolutely loved this book! I have read all her Deadly Series and a couple of her other ones but this was fantastic! A little short but it will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Skye feels like someone is stalking her but the police can find no proof. Trace is an old boyfriend who is the only one who believes her. Trace is not about to let her go this time but he has to keep a stalker from taking her.

As always...Always love her stories. This book drew me into the lives of the characters from the start. I wanted to know more and where this story would go. I didn't expect the ending and that is Wonderful. I usually know who the "bad guy" is but not this one. Once you read this book you will know why my title fits. I highly recommend this book and basically all her other books too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Aloha

Cynthia Eden is a dark woman. Lol. Another solid story with lots of dark minded individuals twists that have you wondering if you were wrong about things and hot steely scene thrown in too. A little more back story between the 2 main characters would have been nice but the story didn't suffer much from the lack of info. I'm curious to see how she adds on to this one so I will be reading the next installment.

a who donit with a love connection. Had trouble really loving either of the characters. the behind the scenes watching seemed a little creepy when your saying it was because of love... I know the author was trying to keep you in suspence with each of the charactaers but it ended up making the main character not so hero like in my books

Very well written suspense romance book.Not too long but just the right amount of action and steamy romance.
The story between heroine and hero goes way back when they were teens in the foster care.. Read it..You wont regret.

I just finished reading this book. It is all about love lost, then found, and about obsession. Mine to Take is full of suspense, as well as being a very steamy love story. I enjoyed reading this book very much, and would recommend it to all lovers of romance novels. Looking forward to reading more from Cynthia Eden.

I really enjoyed this book.
Trace was the perfect alpha male, protective, possessive and totally in love with Skye.
Skye was no shrinking violet and she gave as good as she got.
Suspense, intrigue, action, the love scenes were hot. I really got lost in the story line and could not wait to see the what was next.

I absolutely loved this book. I loved everything about this book from start to finish. There were a few grammar mistakes but that didn't bother me in the least. I would definitely recommend this amazingly fabulous romance novel to anyone and everyone that loves danger, drama, romance, alpha males, and strong women that suit the alpha males perfectly.
Go buy this book. You will not regret it.

Loved it, couldn't put it down. Action packed, fast-paced romantic suspense novel. Trace, hot, rich, powerful, and completely obsessed, what woman wouldn't love it. Very well written, kept me turning the page. Can't wait to read the second story in this series, on the edge of my seat to find out how their story ends.

I read this breathless between lulls in my daughter's soccer game and in line at the drive thru. I could not put it down. Two people meet again 15 years later and the out of control lust has grown into something enduring. Trace is a fascinating character who gave up The love of his life, but gets a second chance. Highly recommend!

This is a great crime drama with lots of suspense. It's also a romantic story of true love taking twists and turns for two foster kids trying to make their way in life. Years later it's a prima ballerina and a billionaire businessman still trying to work out a relationship. Their pasts get in the way but theirs is one terrific story.

Good plot overall but this author has a very choppy writing style. There doesn't feel like there is much emotion shown between the characters. Certainly not much conversation between Trace and Skye and this is distracting. I will try the second on the series just to make sure I have a Goidelic overall impression and it's not just this book.

I read this book in one sitting, because I couldn't put it down. It was full of suspense and romance and wondering who-dun-it, all the way through. I really liked the characters and their development throughout the book. I was constantly going back and forth in my mind about who to trust or not trust. That's what makes for a great suspense story. Definitely recommend this.

Ok, so this book was really hot, with just enough suspense. I just couldn't stand the hero. There's a difference between being a dominant male, and just being an ass. The hero in my opinion is just an ass. The overbearing controlling male character thing is just overplayed anymore. Overall, the story itself is pretty good.

After reading this book I got the impression that I didn’t really know the characters. Yes, Skye, the lead female character was a great dancer and yes, she had a rough and poor childhood but, what else do I know about Skye? Not much besides her ex-lovers and her absolute love and trust for the main character. The same happens with the male character and that really bothers me. Ok, he was an army guy with a very secret profile but, in my opinion, that’s not a reason to totally ignore his past and his current life. I would have enjoyed knowing more about his business, his past love life, friends or likes and dislikes. Everything seemed to be rushed.

This is the second book I have read by this author and I think I am giving up on her. It is not that her books are bad, because they are not. However, when I read a book I expect to feel attached to the characters and that it’s not the case with Ms. Eden’s books.

Whew! This was a prequel short novel but it packed quite a story into it. Skye is being stalked a d she turns to Trace, the one man that can help her. They have a past full of love and hurt but Trace is going to find the stalker and then make Skye his.

Dont start reading this or unless you plan on reading all night long. I was hooked right from the start, I couldnt put my iPad down. The suspense was so real and couldnt read fast enough. Then of course has the love story of old loves reuniting. This was the second trilogy of Cynthia Eden's I've read and I've loved all six books.

Trace is a super possessive alpha guy and I totally loved him! Wanted to know more more more about his history. Wanted to just jump into the book and help fix all the bad things happening to Skye. Enjoyed the mystery/suspense theme running throughout the story, kept me guessing.

Good suspenseful romance. I would preferred more backstory on the H and h but I enjoyed their reconnecting none the less. Warning: The H comes off borderline obsessive at times so the reader has to take in to consideration that his childhood and past relationships were far from great.

Strong, well-developed characters that were easy to love and/or hate. I was extremely surprised by the ending!! Some unnecessary language, which cost the author a star ... in my opinion. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this book and would read more.

I liked this book, although it was quite darkly. I read it at night in bed, so I was a little scared when the guy attacked Skye. The end surprised me; not figured out who is haunting her.
I read the second book, in which we learn more about Trace. In Mine to Take he is a great unknown.

I picked this book because the title sounded interesting. Good choice it was. Amazing suspense and story line. The only thing I didn't like was how fast I read it. Keeps your interest with story within a story.
I would recommend this book to everyone for all of the above reasons.
Will read it again.

I liked the romantic suspense aspect of this story, but the author's writing style seemed overly dramatic to me. At one point, I felt like I was reading the script for a show on the USA network or something cheesy like that. The story wasn't dragged out and the pacing was right on.

Once Skye recovers from her accident she enlists the help of Trace, her ex. Skye knows she has a stalker even if no one believes her. This book has romance, suspense and a little action. I enjoyed the book and was even suprised by the who done it. I had bets another crazy person.

You know those women that stick with the wrong guy for whatever reason, this is the story of a woman stalked and it is hard to determine if she has asked for help from her old friend/lover or if he's the one stalking her. Excellent read.

The storyline was good. However, I did not enjoy the head jumping within scenes. It left me confused as a reader. I did figure out the ending pretty quickly. I also questioned some of the characters' motives and actions, and had a hard time believing some of them. I know Cynthia Eden has received some great reviews, so I'm willing to read another book of hers, but can't say I'd recommend this one.

Predictable, enjoyable, what more can one ask for? Would have liked to see less inner thoughts, useless in this book. Would have liked to see more character development, depth is always appreciated.

Read the sequel? Hmm, maybe. If I've got nothing better to read.

Another suspense by CE..i love her books, but not sure how far this series is going to go. i really wish she would put some women of color and some plus size women in these books and not just damaged souls.
but it is a really good read and great thriller.
