I have only read Sterling's Seduction by Sabrina York so far and it was amazing!!! Sterling can seduce me anytime! Sterling and Roni were incredible, story was well written, and of course this was an exciting and HOT story. Don't want to give away anything but it is a must read. Will update on other stories later.

I normally like this genre of romance/erotica and Roxie Rivera is one of my favorite authors so I was excited for this box set. The first three stories were really solid and I totally enjoyed them. I will definitely look out for other books by Jennifer Kasey. After that they lost me. I didn't like Copper at all, I don't care how damaged she is, Gabriel deserved better. Platinum's story to me was just a hot mess. I don't know how anyone could fall in love with someone who has the personality of a rock. I didn't get that Rose and he had a real connection. I just got that she talked all the time and he liked it because it meant he didn't have to. Just me though.
The rest just felt rushed and I didn't get a good sense of who they were as people. I liked Forged in Silver alright, although I thought it needed more space in the series. I think you could have cut out a couple of these couples and the story would have been more streamlined and effective.
The ending is a true WTF?! ending you totally saw coming, if that makes sense. It's not a real surprise but it's a cliffhanger. I'm guessing they introduce those guys because they are going to be the heroes for the next boxed set. Honestly though I can't bring myself to care, which is sad because I think this the concept of a cohesive, multi-author boxed set is a good one. I just think they were a little too ambitious and it fell short

Kaboom! I was blown away by this anthology. Elite Metal brings the firepower with eight A-class quality novellas that grab hold of an exciting theme and take it the max. Everything about Elite Metal is well executed. I loved the way each story built on the previous one and moved the plot forward. This anthology reads like good television and was just as easy to get hooked on. The stories are well plotted with interesting sub-plots. The characters are multi-dimensional and weave in and out of each story, until the Elite Metal team feels like a crew of old friends. These heavy metal Alphas are hot and the sex sizzles like a spent bullet casing. Overall this anthology exceeded my expectations.
Bound By Steele, by Jennifer Kacey and Anna Alexander, is Adam Steele's story and it's a great introduction to the Elite Metal team and story set-up. Adam is the designated adult in a crowd of on-edge Alphas waiting to jump into action on the frozen wastes outside Moscow. Taking part in an infamous engagement code-named "Operation Phoenix" their lives are tipped upside down. Steele goes against his instincts and all the team members pay a terrible price. The stage set with this exciting story.
Chrome's Salvation by Jennifer Kacey, is Charles aka Chrome's story. Jennifer Kacey is a new to me author, and I am now a devoted fan. Clean fast-paced action and sharp dialogue make this tale of a man who desperately needs to hit the reset button on life a fabulous read. Chrome is written as a complex and believable man who finds himself at odds with the elite forces Marine he used to be and the softer, wiser man he is forced to become. It's way hot between the sheets as well.
Adamantium's Roar by Anna Alexander, is Scott aka Adamantium's story. Scott is a country boy who found respect and extended family within the Elite Metal team. He's also left heartbreak in the past. Beth Bradshaw was the love of his life, but she belonged to his best friend, so he walked away. Told Scott was dead, Beth is shocked, when years later, fate places them in the same dive bar. This story was good. Scott is an old fashioned savior to a very troubled Beth and both get the love they were destined to have.
Pure Cooper by Heather Long was an especially interesting story because Sachi James aka Cooper is a female member of the Elite Metal team. This story's smart and loaded with all the latest tricks of the espionage trade. It had a realistic feel to it. Cooper is at her best when on assignment and deeply embedded in the role she's taken on. What she's not so good at is spotting when she's met her match in fellow spy Gabriel and learning to trust. I loved the way Sachi's backstory was handled and her extended family relationship with Mercury who is a big-brother/ slash watchdog in her life. Witty dialogue and plenty of heat make this story a favorite.
Sterling's Seduction by Sabrina York is Steve aka Cobra aka Sterling's story, hell he has had so many code names even he can't remember them all. He's a sarcastic character who got assigned the bum undercover identity of doing consultations on SEAL themed scripts in Hollywood. The gig puts him on a clever woman reporter's radar. She strongly suspects he's the real deal and part of Elite Metal. I liked Veronica aka Roni, a lot she's no nonsense, aggressive heroine and sweet at the same time. Without causing any spoilers, her connection to a mystery man named Marcus causes plenty of friction and enriches the plot. Highly enjoyable read with searing heat.
Platinum's Choice by Rebecca Royce is Tim aka Elijah aka Platinum's story. Eli is an elite sniper with a troubling history. The government has changed his name and moved him around like a pawn so many times, he no longer has anything real to anchor his life to. His ruthless line of work has earned him a vicious enemy, a nasty Russian named Red Wolf, who wants to hit him where it will hurt the most--Elijah's innocent son.
For years, Elijah has endured the lonely struggles of a double life. For his loved one's safety, he can't acknowledge a young son, and he's been forced to abandon the woman he loves, a teacher named Rose.
After being recruited by the Elite Metal team, Eli finds himself in the uncomfortable position of facing his demons. Red Wolf wants him dead, approaching the son he loves could bring disaster, and the woman he loves might not want him back.
I love Ms. Royce's writing style. It's fast paced with the accent on the heart factor, but this story adds luster to another dimension. Eli's inner dialogue is grittier. The details of his thoughts are clearly realized. He's an emotionally complicated yet down to earth soul, barely able to keep his killer instincts under control. It was easy to slip inside his head and experience his dry sense of humor and conflicts first hand. He knows he's rough around the edges, yet he aspires to become a doctor and live a good life.
I loved Rose the moment she appeared on the page. She's smart, bubbly a bit of a geek and has everything Eli lacks. The sunshine and genuine intimacy she brings into Eli's life is palpable. She gravitates toward the students the other teachers lose patience with, and for that alone I loved her. On top of that she's a savior to Eli's little boy when he's tossed in harm's way and unwittingly puts herself in the line of fire. She endures a lot including having "Eli" her medical student live-in lover disappear one day without a trace or explanation.
The villainous sniper that Red Wolf sends to stalk Eli's son, is highly motivated in the revenge department. I felt the fear.
The love story is steamy there's even some well-written BSDM kink. The flashbacks between the past and present are clearly marked. The duo time frames greatly add to the drama.
My verdict? Platinum is worth its weight in--platinum. There's a lot packed into this short novella, that makes "Platinum's Choice" one of Ms. Royce's best.
Mercury's Poison by Saranna DeWylde is John Thrace aka Mercury's story. John was once a handsome man, and innovative doctor who's been maimed on every level by a corrosive substance called Serum 17. A horrible mishap leaves him badly scarred and emotionally detached. He's unable to differentiate between pleasure and pain. Add a whooping big dose of survivor guilt and poor Mercury is one messed up dude. This was a grittier tale, fleshed out with vivid descriptions. I was fascinated by John's dilemma. He wants to be punished for his mistakes, but he really needs redemption. A compassionate doctor named Hazel, sees through his battered exterior and offers her love and trust--something he never thought he'd experience again. Hazel is the antidote to his poison. I enjoyed this story very much.
Forged In Silver by Roxie Rivera is Jared aka Quicksilver Smith's story. This is a high action tale of a morally-relaxed man who can play both sides of the ethics fence in equal comfort until the ex-team members he respects, need him to pull it together and be a white hat again. The chance to do right and win the love of a take-charge woman named Poppy, who sees the positive potential in this bad boy, makes Forged in Silver a fabulous read. Ms. Rivera's writing style dragged me by the heels to my reading chair and held hostage until the end.

This is one intense book. You are catapulted into the action from the start and it never lets up. Throw in some sexy marines, compelling stories and some kick ass action and you have one wonderful boxset.
This boxset is amazing. The stories flow from one to the other and read like a well-tuned novel. The authors played so very well together and I couldn’t be more pleased. I can’t even give individual reviews, because I would just be repeating myself over and over.
These warriors were family. One bad mission separated them and then one secret organization brings them back together. The concept is fresh, the names are genius and the stories are great fun.
We start with the heartbreaking tale of what happened to separate the team. The events are so heartbreaking and tragic. What happens to them is devastating and then continues with the cruel dismantling of the group. As the team is slowly brought back together, we see how much pain and sorrow they are fighting through.
This is a brilliant boxset that isn’t just some common stories grouped together. It is well thought out and kept me reading until the very end. I could continue the gush-fest, but I won’t. It would get old quickly and I’m not going to waste your time, when you should just go to your favorite bookseller and get Elite Metal. It is the best deal out there!

>Review - Elite Metal -
>I received this anthology from the authors and from Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock. I am an independent reviewer. This is the first book in the Elite Warrior Series and ends in a cliffhanger.
>This anthology consists of 8 stories that flow one from the other. Each of the stories are written by different authors yet are equally entertaining. The anthology begins with the introduction to the team commander, Steele. His story is also the backstory into what happened to 3 covert special ops teams when a Russian op goes bad.
>A mysterious wealthy benefactor brings the surviving members back together in order to right the wrongs done to them in the past. Each story stars a different member and is equally hot, intense and suspenseful. These members are damaged and ready for revenge on the man responsible for their Russian op going sideways, Red Wolf.
>The best thing about this series is not the overload of Alpha males, but the fact that the females are Alpha as well. Each Elite Op member meets their perfect match. Having a true Alpha pair makes for a truly refreshing read. Lovers of all things sexy, military, suspenseful and alpha will LOVE this anthology. I cannot wait for more.
> This book is for an adult audience. Many of the stories involve aspects of BDSM.

This set of eight books by seven fabulous authors rings every bell. It is a continuing storyline, made up of long short stories or novellas about the surviving members of two elite Marine teams that were betrayed and decimated while on a black ops mission in Russia. Their families are told they died, they are given new identities, and are scattered to the four winds. Then, one by one, they are kidnapped and given the opportunity to work for a private contractor and to get revenge against the Russian terrorist who destroyed their lives. The eight books in this set tell their stories. The finale paves the way for the second boxed set. It can't come out soon enough. This is a definite keeper.

Elite Metal is a collection of multiple authors who not only write a fantastic series but they integrate the other authors stories into theirs. These stories are based on an elite group of soldiers (ghosts) that after a mission gone bad & declared dead, then set up with new IDs are reunited two years later, set up a new covert op’s group and work to capture the man responsible for their failed mission.

Overall thoughts
I got sucked into this anthology. Each and every one of the Elite Metal team were flawed and hurting and interesting in their diverseness. Each of them stumbled into love and found a person who brought out the best and worst in them. The entire time I wondered about Warbucks and the ghosts and the ending leaves the reader with giant cliff-hanger. I do so hope that there is another Elite book and that I can visit with these characters that I have come to think of as friends and discover some answers to the new questions I have.
For now I'll agree with Chrome on the
ending "What.the.Fuck." Dude. Craziness.

Mercury's Poison by Saranna DeWylde is definitely worthy of the Elite Metal title! Mercury, aka John, has lead a life of serious destruction in the name of protecting the innocent. He considers himself a monster both inside and out and is unwilling to allow anyone in except his childhood best friend. When he discovers the beautiful and seemingly fragile Hazel, his entire world shifts. Hazel sees the beauty both inside and out and pushes John to be more than Merc. Will John be able to balance his need to be the monster people see with the man Hazel has fallen in love with? Once again Saranna writes a red hot tale of two damaged individuals who must come to terms with their own issues, pasts, intentions and ghosts in order to truly come together. Merc is an amazing character! He is flawed yet beautiful and driven by a desire to right wrongs. He doesn't consider himself a hero but I do. Saranna's characters are so real with their flaws and insecurities and personal demons that need to be exorcized. You can't help but fall in love and wish for some version of a happily ever after, even if it is a little twisted! Love it!!

Sterling sat with his biker friends trying to blend in a run down bar. They were really part of a black ops team hiding in plain sight enjoying down time and waiting for orders from their boss. When a waitress walked in with pigtails and a shimmy in her walk, he knew her face and told Steele she was a LA reporter from a sleaze magazine called The National Snoop. One thing about Sterling was he had a photographic memory and a smile that had women standing in line to jump in his bed. Every since Dancer was killed on a gone to hell mission, he harden his heart. but the waitress called to him in ways he thought he buried long ago....
Roni Banks was on the trail of a motorcycle gang reported to be close to a secure headquarters that was maybe a black ops compound. She was bound to her boss's whims as he held her younger sister in his lurches and had promised for six years to give her custody, yet he never did only dangling carrots to make her jump! She posed as a waitress at a rundown bar in hopes to hear clues on where to go next and as she smoothly slid up to one biker he screamed military although his long hair set her fingers twitching.......
Sabrina York's story will have thighs clenching and hearts racing when Sterling and Roni come together! Sterling is determined to keep his "family" safe at any cost and when Roni dug too deep he had to kidnap her.

This is one of the best multi-author continuity bundles I have ever read! The way these authors have been able to put together this collective story is amazing and keeps you reading from one story to the next as fast as you can. Nothing better than hot sexy military men that I can't stop drooling over.

Great box set.
These authors brought it, they provided a cohesive story, which was fun and made reading this box set a breeze not a chore. I really enjoyed the banter between characters, and how they all blended together yet the different characters stood out.
This set kept me entertained over a whole weekend, and I couldn't put it down!
One of the characters that really stood out was Copper from Pure Copper by Heather Long, I love a kicka** heroine, and Copper was exactly what I needed in a heroine. Seriously, this alone is a story worthy of spending the money on this anthology. Pick it up, it's a great set of stories, and I will definitely be looking for more!

Elite Metal is a complete team of military warriors who gather together to right the wrong that took out half of their original team. Each and every story is written by a separate author but in the epilogue all of the stories are wrapped up into a neat little bow. To say much more would spoil the stories. Each guy is named after a precious metal except for Poppy who works for Warbucks, who funds the team's adventures.

Each book is a master piece by themselves but together they are a true adventure! And wait till you get to the ending (don't sneak a peek because it's worth the wait)... you'll want to reread the whole series again! Favorite line: "To the ends of the earth he would protect her. And love her. He would start with forever... and go from there." Happy reading : )
