Enjoyable & easy read. Its detailed account of people & happenings kept me interested. The characters are relatable and I would recommend to my grandchildren. It's suspenseful without gruesome violence not foul language.

This book was so imaginative that the fantasies seemed real. You can imaging everything Scott Gelowitz describes as if watching a movie. Well played scenarios combined with quick action equal a great novel.

Town Secrets is well written and certainly kept my attention. It is appropriate for early teen and above and adults will not be disappointed either. There is one aspect of it that I dislike. The author used his/her personal beliefs as a means of advancing the storyline. It is not the use of beliefs that bother me but the authors particular belief. In spite of this I enjoyed the book and recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy based adventure books.
The characters are great fun and the plot is well conceived. Congratulations to the author and to the editors.

I was always facinated from x-files and mystery books and movies. This book remind me xfiles and the twilight zone series. Where are all the people disappeared? What happened in this small and quite town?
Good one.

I lost interest at chapter 6, but kids would still be interested in these boys' adventure. Sort of along the lines of a Hardy Boys adventure. It was slow moving. It's always amusing when a non-native American tries to write about our culture. One character is named James (Jimmy) Jones, and another is Ben Casey! And the boys are always going past the "fire hall". Lol.

Takes me back to the simple fun of storytelling in the mold of the Hardy Boys or even Encyclopedia Brown from my youth, but with the modern feel and themes of mysteries that challenge Robert Langdon or the mystical challenges confronting Harry Potter --- easy to read with a good pace.
