On Fire is on fire with action suspense and romance. If you pick it up, you won't be able to put it down. The non stop action will keep you riveted until the very end. This story is about the best I've read in this series. Let's see if the author can out due himself on the next chapter of Ozzie, his ex and his daughter.

I loved this book, full of twists and turns, Ozzie does it again! Ozzie attracts trouble, it always finds him but he's a real good guy at getting out of it! I thought the ending was really good as it was very unexpected- of course with Ozzie you can never expect the expected - I mean where would the fun be then!

Another great read from John Mefford. Gotta love Ozzie everytime. He is a common man with a great story life that gets caught up in crazy situations. Who can not relate to Ozzie Novak? I look forward to the next edition and all the future editions as well. John Mefford can tell a good story with lots of twists and turns. There should be a 'warning, you may get dizzy reading this' sticker on the front of the book.

Another great book by by Mr. Mefford. Very good story, plot, characters, and being in Austin made it really fun to read. Having lived in Austin for over 50 years, it is fun to read stories that take place here. As with the other books in this series, this one delivers. Well worth your time to read.

Another excellent Ozzie Novak thriller. Another page turner for John W. Mefford. Another night of no sleep because I couldn't stop reading. Poor Ozzie - more trouble coming his way, another murder to try to solve. Lots of action and a twist to keep you guessing. Loved ON FIRE !

John Mefford’s books keep getting better and better. Love the characters. Plot is great, suspenseful with surprises and thrills. I finished book in two days, couldn’t wait to get back to it. Love the details, just an excellent book. Don’t want to spoil it. You have to read it.

Another great read in the series! Don’t think for a minute you can predict what will happen! Plenty of plot twists to keep you at the edge of your seat.

This was the best Ozzie Novak thriller yet. Hard to put down and one exciting moment after another. A good read for all you people out there who love thriller crime novels. Not a boring chapter in it.

Every book John Mefford writes is better than his last. In this one Ozzie does his best detective work yet, and Alex Troutt makes an appearance too! John Mefford has become one of my favorite authors!

Great thriller once again. Keeps the reader engaged from the beginning to a surprise ending. Couldn’t put it down, had to read in one sitting. Great story that keeps you guessing with each page. Keep them coming.
