One Minute After You Die

On January 2nd my husband passed away. I know he is with the Lord, but had a question for my pastor. His response was to do a Bible Study on this book. It has been very helpful for me and so I ordered the book for Kindle and the work book in print. I am sorry to say, I haven't finished the book although I have read a lot of it, because I also have several other books I am reading for homework. But I fully intend to finish the reading and then go back to do the work book as well. It is very informative and well written. I highly recommend the book to anyone who struggles with 'where do we go when we die.' As I said, it is very informative and very helpful, too. A good idea is to pray before you begin reading and ask God to open you heart and mind to understanding.

The book was excellent, although a fair amount of the material related to general salvation concepts as opposed to specific thoughts about Heaven.
Of course since we cannot know specifics about Heaven (other than what is shared in Scripture) this side of the divide, that is not a great surprise.

Very good to motivate Christians to pray for the unsaved and to want to help others find their salvation in Jesus. Good explanations for what is out there regarding the issue of dying. Worth rereading.

Written very well... straight to the point... cleared up a lot of bible passages I didn't understand. I'm more comfortable within my soul leaving "this" world when the time comes. Thank you Dr. Lutzer.

Erwin Lutzer elaborates on a number of related matters and comforts the Christian reader at the same time.
I highly recommend this book!
