A Walt Longmire Story (A Penguin Special from Viking) (Walt Longmire Mysteries)

Great little story. Adds even more dimension to three primary characters in the series as well as being downright entertaining. And just unlikely enough to have actually happened! (It sounds like a story I'd hear at a family reunion.)
As always, can't wait for the next one.

I love the Longmire series both the books which are very well written and the series which depicts the characters portrayed in the books well. I do not like the direction both the book and it looks like the series is going with the relationship between Longmire and Vic...it seems out of character for both and disappointing.

Builds the other books stories for the tv show and books. Great way to show off Vic's personality, Bears beliefs, and Longmires way of thinking. as well as meaning behind "lola". Invest in body glitter! LOL

Craig Johnson is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. I am really into his sense of humor and laid back attitude. I loved the Longmire TV series and wonder where it went. I like books where the characters are the same but each story is different. Again I am sad when the book is finished and I have to wait for the next one.

This is truly a short story, with half the download being the first chapter of the upcoming novel. But no matter the length, this story is really worth it. I've read all the shorts, and this is the best--and laugh out loud fun!

Another great story and for the Longmire addicts a great fix. My only disappointment was when the last page was turned. I cannot recommend this series more highly.
Now that I have completed the whole series I am at a loss to find an equal which sparks my need to read.
