Good read. Would make a great 1st installment in aTV mini-series with the follow-on books Mark is writing. Scenes and characters are easy to visualize with his descriptions. Mark does a great job of developing his characters, although I think a parallel treatment of the mysterious murderer would have heightened the suspense. Can't wait for the next in the series!

Well written with insights into the Apache world. I have purchased several other books in the series, yet to be read. If you are a fan of small town law enforcement characters you will not be disappointed.

Little slow in beginning but worth it to keep reading. It shows where as a person of different race come together they can work together. I enjoyed reading and would recommend it anyone. I will check out more books by author read and enjoy

This story was very well written. And it was very hard to put down, I stayed up late at night reading until I just couldn't keep my eyes open. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in mysteries.

This book almost felt like a Tony Hillerman novel. It was set in a different nation, but it still has that very spiritual semblance. There were grammatical issues but I've read worse. Overall, I liked this book and recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Being a fan of the Tony Hillerman series of Native American-oriented murder mysteries, I set the bar pretty high when it comes to similar books. "Native Blood" did not disappoint. A good read with excellent character development.

The plot is relatively interesting, but the dialogue-particularly between the sheriff and his girlfriend--seems artificial. I kept asking myself as I read her words, "do people really speak like that" and my answer was "I don't think so". With that said, I did finish the book and am now reading a second one written by the author.

Unfortunately, this book had so many spelling, grammatical, and textual errors (see pages 1,5,7,9,10,24,34,39,40,48.60, 154,156,159, 168, 190, 229,233) that I lost complete interest in the story. This sloppy editing is offensive, disrespectful, and insulting to the reader.

The book blended both the native American and the white man in both the traditional as well as the modern cultural way of life. The author brought the macabre, family grief, revenge, and remorse into an intertwined and engaging mystery worth reading.
