Finally - another series by Eden I like!
Most of her recent stuff is not at all to my taste but this was just what I enjoy the most.
Badass, bigger then life hero. Kickass heroine. Solid plot and plenty of sizzling connection between the MCs.
Plenty of secondary characters destined for books of their own, of course. Which I'm fine with.
I'm very happy with this and recommend to anyone who enjoys a good paranormal with multiple paranormals.

Sure, a lot of her books are similar & predictable, but she always invents characters you love to pull for. Besides, why complain about scorching chemistry & happily-ever-afters? I love them! I think this is going to be another wonderfully fun series!
Marked By The Vampire (Purgatory) (Volume 2) :: Bite The Dust (Blood and Moonlight Book 1) :: The Wolf Within (Purgatory Book 1) :: Mine To Take (Mine - Romantic Suspense) (Volume 1) :: A Bit of Bite

I always enjoy the mixture of humor, love and seriousness that Ms. Eden provides. One minute I'm laughing the next she's got me tearing up. She has a way of pulling you in that makes you feel like you really know these characters. Can't wait for the remaining books!

Another GREAT addition to Ms. Eden's books.
Luke is a dark authority figure of the "dark beings" and he has a brother that is of the "light". I instantly fell for Luke and his bad boy ways and I figured Ms. Eden would allow a smidgen of his goodness eventually appear. Luke is a lot more than I thought at first. I won't spoil the book but there are quite a few twists and turns in this story that kept me guessing. I didn't figure out the entire plot until the big reveal. Now the heroine, she is just full of surprises. She is a strong female character that follows what is right and does what needs to be done instead of cowering in fear and letting others do the dirty work. I loved all the characters! Even the mysterious and quiet Julian.

It's not dark dark as in rape or other triggers but it has some elements that leaves you guessing if Luke is the bad guy or good guy.I would definitely recommend this book!

Who would have thought I would be rooting for the Devil's happy ending. Interesting twist on a love story. I also like the relationship between the brothers. I love the layers, that went deeper than just good versus evil.

So this was awesome...Very little I love better than the bad boy with a heart of gold. Luke is the King of all things Bad. Literally. He controls all the creatures of the dark. Mina is a girl on a mission to make herself unbad, and an artifact in Luke's possession is the key to her plan. Unfortunately for Mina, Luke doesn't like to share his toys.

These two charmed me from their first interaction to the last page of the book. Mina is the perfect shero - she doesn't love the mess she's gotten herself into, she isn't brazen or full of false bravado. She's simply a woman who will do whatever she needs to do in order to see her plan through - and to keep Luke safe while she is doing so.

Luke is completely undone by Mina. Especially when she tries to protect him. His delight in her is never in question. He is willing to sacrifice everything so she can have her heart's desire. Luke, who is the King of things that go bump in the night, isn't nearly the hard case he would like everyone to believe, as evidenced by his fiercely loyal guards, men who he has saved and protected. Can't wait for their stories. As well as Leo, Luke's goodness-to-Luke's-darkness brother.

The Devil in Disguise really took me back to Ms. Eden's Night Watch series. The level of humor, the shero who will literally fight for her man. (or set his enemies on fire, a la Jana in Eternal Flame (Night Watch Book 3). Still one of my favorite sheros ever.) Lots of fun, great emotion, hawt smexy times...The Devil in Disguise is a great read!
