Still the One (An Animal Magnetism Novel)

As always, Jill Shalvis delivers another great love story. I love this author and the characters she creates. Never a dull moment in any of her books. I love her series and staying with the same characters and towns for multiple novels. I highly recommend all of her books!

I was disappointed by this one. I usually love her stories, but this one was so boring, I did not even finish it! Characters were not that likeable, and it took forever to get the story going. I wish I would have loved it, but I did not.

I completely adored this book! Typical of what I expect from this darling series from Jill Shalvis. Her characters are so relatable, and her books have issues that we all deal with. From family troubles and struggles to relationships with coworkers!

I agree with some of the other reviewers. This was one of my least favorite Jill Shalvis books. I loved all the Lucky Harbour books and the other Animal Magnetism books, but this one was not good. Darcy was very unlikeable and there was no chemistry between Darcy and AJ. My favorite book of this series was Adam and Holly's story - loved them!!! There was so much chemistry between them!!! I have read that one many, many times. I had to force myself to finish this. I hope if there is another book in the series, it will be better, otherwise, I am done with the series. I think I will check reviews before I buy any more of her books.

I loved the entire series. The writing is sharp, the dialog is funny. The characters are believable. I thoroughly enjoy series novels as they give a feel foe the entire town and all of the people in the town.

Sorry Jill...but I hated this story. I have purchased, read, and for the most part LOVED each and every one of her books in the Animal Magnetism, The Wilders, Sky High and the Lucky Harbor series - pretty much every book she's ever published - but this one was NOT a good read for me. Darcy had NOTHING about her personality that made her the least bit appealing and nothing that made AJ's attraction to her believable. She was VERY unlikeable and obnoxious...so much so that I couldn't see past her rude personality enough to care about what supposedly caused her to be that way. She was too rude for me to want to care about her, thus I found it hard to believe that the hero would care about her either. I'm not giving up though. I've already pre-ordered Second Chance Summer and All I Want. Here's to hoping they will be back on track with characters I can love and that I will catch myself smiling as I read through them. That was not the case with Still The One!
