I highly recommend this book for teens. It is filled with great information and advice, and is written in a way that teens will learn a lot and enjoy it at the same time!! As Sean Covey would say, it is a WIN WIN situation!

I purchased this initially as a read aloud with my teens, but my 12 year old wanted to read it on her own... she has enjoyed reading it then asking me some questions concerning the issues in the book. The six topics address issues: school, friends, parents, dating and sex, addictions,self-worth, all issues that helped start some great conversations with my child.

I bought this book prior to our daughter starting middle school. She is now in high-school. We have one amazing daughter. I Read this book prior to handing it off to our daughter. Just in case she had any questions. Her friends have borrowed the book and she has read it off and on throughout her high school years. My daughter has stated how this books makes more and more sense each time she reads it. This book speaks directly to the teenager. I also recommend it to family friends. A lot of life lessons that they can learn from someone else's perspective and experience. Basically saving themselves from a life of destruction. We have a son starting middle school in a few weeks. This book will be required reading. I prefer to introduce certain topics to our children instead of letting society and peer pressure totally control their thinking. I always keep resources such as this book around for my children to read, just in case they are embarrassed to talk to me or dad.

I like this book, but I purchased this new updated version hoping it actually had some updates. I couldn't find where anything was changed or revised for the digital age. New color on the cover and a misleading headline, in my opinion.

That being said, the book itself is great. I highly recommend the "6 decisions" book. Just buy whichever one you find, because I can't say this one is any better than the previous.

I LOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEDDD this book!!! It was amazing! It really gave some good advice for teenagers and I know because I am one. I read Sean's other book for teens The 7 habits and I loved that one too. Sean is a great author and this book is awesome. People who are reading this review, buy the book! If all the teens in the world read this book and actually internalized it, I honestly believe the world would be a much better place.

I originally purchased this book for my high school nieces and nephews as I have children ages 5 & 8. Before deciding to package it I began reading a few chapters as I wanted to confirm the high ratings for the book. Ultimately, "I" ended up KEEPING it for me & my husband. I was beyond pleased with the information it provides, tips & knowledge from the author & sources. I know we will most definitely used it as we help our children make the right decisions for their future. A must read-book for all!

My 171/2 granddaughter found this to be an excellent book to assist her with dealing with her parents, friends and life as she sees it now. I trust she will take to college with her next year and refer to it from time to time.
