Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS-R) - Revised Edition

Bill Ayers exudes a sensitivity to the child, the teacher and the art of teaching and learning that I have not found anywhere else in literature on education. His intellectual wit and wisdom about the state of education and humanity as a whole is both jolting and hopeful. Above all else, it is the carefulness with which he looks at the "what is" of the child and the teacher that touches the heart.

this is a great book for new, aspiring teachers to read if they don't like long, wordy novels, are visual people as opposed to linguistic, and is looking for something as a source of inspiration as to why we teach. I definitely highly recommend this book.

This book is extremely simplistic: anyone who finds it the least bit informative should stick to buying index funds. There is no information about value investing here, and indeed it is full of simple things like explaining what the various types of options are and how to look up who the large investors in a company are. I felt like a sucker for paying $10 for the kindle edition.

The author is a self-proclaimed success in biotech options trading, although the preface is full of howlers. Here are some of them:

"So I naively set about to study every possible aspect of `biotech'. I read books (most published more than 10 years ago and therefore of limited use) and articles on the internet, I studied textbooks, read magazines, ect. I even considered taking a biochemistry course at a local university. After several weeks of intense study, I realized and accepted that I would never be able to understand the underlying science of each company's drug candidate(s)."

"...the market will immediately asses the value [of a company announcement] for you post-announcement (as evidenced by the movement in share price)".

"Before prop trading, I was a M&A, corporate finance and credit banker....I can tear apart the financial statements and tell you just about everything you would want to know about the financial health of a company in about an hour -- stripes I earned from the continued brutal 130 hour work weeks."

This statement some chapters into the book made me cringe:

"Regarding price target estimates, analysts will generally be accurate given the significant amount of time and research they spend when assessing market potential of the drug candidate, their discussions with executive management in addition to conversations with industry insiders and specialists. It goes without saying that you will probably not be able to assess a price target range better than most analysts."

Investors who heed the writings of analysts without due dilligence will find themselves at the mercy of soothsayers, idiots, flimflammers, and (worst of all) intentional manipulators.

It is very detailed technical guide for people without too much knowledge about biotech sector. However, this book is really matched for its title: HANDBOOK, by which one can easily
find or identify almost all companies in this sector with potential profit margin to hunt.

In brief, 2 things need to be emphasized with the value of the author contributing to this book:

1. A full list of S-M scale of companies in biotech sector;

2. A series of price structure for traders to appoaching potential option trades.

I personlly followed one of the trade structure guided by the author, the result lined below
