Wish I May was a fantastic read. This story takes place 7 years after the short and sweet story Stolen Wishes in which get to see William and Cally fall in love. William and Cally promised to make their long distance relationship work however things turned out far different from planned. Cally breaks Williams heart leaving him with nothing but questions as to why she pushed everyone away. Cally mother dies and she returns to New Hope with her sisters making her dad step up to be the father he needs to be to for Drew and Gabby. Her return visit puts her face to face with her first love William and time has been nothing but good to him. He is even more handsome and charming than she remembered. However, her father has not changed at all and Drew and Gabby needs her to stay; they want her to stay. Cally has always been the breadwinner for her family and she can’t leave her sisters with their dad; a man they know but don’t really know. They aren’t comfortable with him yet. Cally’s plan to return to Las Vegas is put on hold as she tries to find a job to take care of her sisters. Her job brings her closer to the one man she can’t resist in a town where gossip is top priority. William gets his second chance with Cally and he won’t let her go this time without a fight but Cally’s hiding a past she doesn’t want anyone to know about and ashamed to tell William. Things come full circle when Cally’s past and present collide; she can no longer run, her secret is out and she must face everything head on if she wants to protect her sister from making the same mistake she did. Cally has had a difficult life and I loved seeing her and Will get their HEA, they both deserved it. I recommend this book to anyone who loves second chance romances.

I read the Novella Stolen Wishes which is the story of Cally and Will falling in love as kids, so I already a little about their back story.

Seven years after their relationship ended and Cally moved away with her mum to Las Vegas. She has returned to New Hope after the death of her Mother to get her two younger sisters settled in with their unusual father.

The first person she runs into is no other than her first love William.
Everything about her says SEX. And MINE.~Will

What has happened to her over the past seven years?

"She may not longer be the girl I once loved, but she is the women I want"~Will
After seeing Cally and the attraction between the two burns brighter than a super nova, William is once again enchanted by her presence and he wants her back in his life.

This book is beyond beautiful pain and beauty twisted together perfectly.
As I write this review, I am unable to stop the tears steaming down my cheeks. This story touched me deeply, the emotions poured from the pages. One of the subject matter dealt with in this story hit close to home. It reminded me that sometimes life can be extremely painful and situations can be forced upon you by means of desperation, manipulation and fear.
When certain things fall upon your shoulders you just have to do what you have to do. Some of those decisions will leave life long scars but not everyone is given the rainbow and unicorns experience.

I have to commend Lexi Ryan for writing such a raw and gritty story filled with beautifully painful emotions.
The book is written from both Cally and Williams POV. Everything from writing to flow to the transitions of POV and Flash backs are stunningly perfect.

All I am going to say is that every girl needs a William Bailey in their life, his love is unconditional.
"A Choice made out of fear, is no choice at all"~William
I will remember that quote as long as I live.
Great story that highlights an issue that is VERY real and ACTIVE in today's society.

Ohhhh where to even start with this review. Can I tell you how amazing this book was. I was so emotionally involved and moved and touched in this book that it felt like I was the one actually living this life.

Okay so we start off in the past...7 years ago. Will and Cally are two teenagers completely head over heels in love with one another. Even though Will is older and even though Cally is willing to lose her virginity to Will, but he wants to wait till prom night. To make it special and meaningful. So they decide to wait. Well whilst all this is going on Cally her two sister and her mother are moving. Her mother is divorcing their father and she is moving them to Nevada. The promise of still coming back for prom to be with Will and then still having a future with one another.

However.....that isn't what happens......

In present time Cally is driving back home with her two younger sisters heading to their father's house. Their mother has recently died and they have no where else to go. Cally hasn't been back since she left. While yelling at the GPS system trying to find her father's house she runs into Will. And for the two of them it is like time stood still. Will is supposed to hate Cally. Pretty sure he does. I mean really she broke his heart, ripped it out of his chest and stomped on it. However, when he first sees Cally time stops and its like being back in the past and in that moment he realizes he's still in love with Cally. Cally still finds him hawt as ever and of course she still loves him.....for her it's always been Will. Instead of shoving her away or being mean he helps her find her fathers house.

So whilst all this is going on Cally finds out that her father isn't home so she'll need to take the girls to a motel for the night. As the reader we learn that Cally's life has been rough and that's putting it mildly. Cally has not had it easy or good. Her mother became a drug addict and and Cally was supporting her family because their father didn't. Not only that but Cally had to do some things that she isn't proud of. I honestly have no idea how she survived it and not only that she thrived....in a sense. Anyways the plan was to drop her sisters off, get them settled in with their father and then take back off to work. She'd send money to help out as well. However, the reality is never that easy.

On the flip side of that Will has done very well for himself. Well sorta. I mean financially and all he's set. Love life....well not so much. He's been engaged before....yeah....you'll have to read about that. And "loved" women...especially those unattainable and all and no strings attached hook ups. Looking to fill a void left in his heart from when he was a teenager. So instead of again being mean and hating Cally he offers to help her out. She is looking to find a place to work...she's a massage therapist and yes while her mother was one too with happy finishes and all, that's not Cally. So Will helps her find a place to work out of to help build some clients to help pay for things because her father's house is falling down and is in no shape to really take care of his children.

Well while this goes on feelings come back full force for the two of them and Cally is trying to be good and do the right things (especially since she knows she isn't staying this time) and Will just can't seem to stay away. One thing leads to another and all 3 girls have to vacate their father's house for a few days and Will offers to host the girls in his home. Aww.....LOVE IT!!!! I really want these two to figure things out and find that love again....I really love their characters.

Anyways one of the flingy things that Will had with a chick her name is Meredith. Uggg ugly fat cow......and I have a few other choice words for her. She comes back to constantly stir things up and she's very nasty to Cally. Cally starts to get comfortable...sort of. Her and Will kind of explore their feelings and they might finally see what being with each other is like. However, there is a few other hidden secrets that Cally has and it might be just enough to scare Will away? Can Cally run from her past? Or will it finally catch up to her? If it does what does that mean for her? Her family? And Will and his "past" that keeps coming into the present? Can Will and Cally really ever move on together? Well you'll have to read to find out and let me tell you it is sooooo worth it. This book has everything and I found myself crying a few times during this book as well as shocked, happy, sad, hawt moments, awww moments and a lot of other ones. So make sure to go get your hands on this book it is sooo worth it!!!

Wish I May was a beautiful story about love. Taught from a young age by her father to wish on the stars and believe in destiny Cally Fisher has her world turned upside down by the harsh realities of a drug addicted mother, two younger sisters to care for and no money. Forced to make choices that she truly didn't understand the consequences of Cally separates herself completely from her past and her boyfriend William Bailey. It is not until she must return to her home town of New Hope that she realises sometimes physical distance means nothing to the heart and sometimes, even the unforgiveable can be forgiven.

I really liked Cally. She was so incredibly strong and so responsible - despite not having had the best of role models in either of her parents. She was selfless and did everything she could to care for her sisters ... and the price she paid was enormous. It was wonderful to watch her character blossom a little and see others rally around and support her, rather than judging her on the actions of her mother.

William is wonderful. Heartbroken when Cally was forced to leave town with her mother he never fully understood why Cally broke off all contact with him. When faced with her seven years later he is once again captivated by her and fights hard to have the chance to be with her again. The chemistry between the two is fabulous - nothing moves too quickly and they each battle with their conscience as they start to explore what might be possible.

Cally's past choices bring a number of darker elements into her life and these are not as absent as she would truly like, even as she tries to move towards a brighter future. She is torn between disclosing everything to the man she has come to love again and risk losing him or just walking away, to spare him any further pain. There are some other minor twists thrown in that mean the final outcome is not entirely predictable, although the romantic in me was always hoping that Cally and William would get their happily ever after.

Ryan has a gorgeous writing style that is so easy to get lost in. Wish I May is book 2 in the New Hope series but can be read as a stand alone. I haven't read the first book and didn't feel that I was missing anything while reading Wish I May. Of course now I'm inspired to pick up book 1 - Unbreak Me to learn a little more about some of the characters I met in this beautiful story.

Lexi Ryan has proved me wrong... again. For about the gazillionth time, I bet she's getting tired of being right all the time. Now let me tell you why she's right and why I don't even care that I'm wrong...

I thought that Unbreak Me was the most intense and angsty book that Lexi Ryan would give us, but I was wrong. Wish I May is probably the one (hopefully because I can't take anymore intenseness or I might actually explode.) I really loved this book and the conflict between the characters (and within them) makes the story so much more. There were parts that I figured out right from the get-go because of the hints being dropped but there were parts that caught me off guard. Like, really caught me off guard. I'm going to go ahead and say that I enjoyed this more than Unbreak Me which is more than a little surprising because I loved Unbreak Me, it was one of the most real and heart-wrenching books I have ever read. Really.

My heart shriveled up and died for Cally; as gross as that may be, it's completely accurate. The things she had to sacrifice and do was so painful to read about, and she was so strong through it all. A human being might actually off himself if that ever happened to him but Cally had her sisters to take care of, and they didn't even know what she had to do for them. My heart hurts for her especially since their father is completely unreliable and Cally is stuck taking care of her sisters again. You'd think she'd catch a break, but she doesn't. At all. Drew, one of her little sisters, is a total b*tch to her, Gabby, the youngest sister, choses to not talk because of what happened to them and now William, her first love, is showing interest in her again but she doesn't know what to do since she doesn't think she'll be staying in New Hope too long (she's afraid of giving William her heart again especially since he doesn't know the whole story and he might react violently). Yeah, secrets suck.

William isn't a new character to you if you've read Unbreak Me and we all know how much of a sad fellow he is. He's been through a lot but always seems to be positive when it comes to the aspect of love. Even though Cally broke his heart all those years ago, he was still willing to forgive her and be generous to them after all they've been through. I fell in love with William in Unbreak Me but now, I would just like to have his babies. William's life wasn't as difficult as Cally's but he did go through a lot of things as well. He is such a great man you will really see his greatness in Wish I May. He has so much to give.

Going into this book, I knew that I'd love it. How could I not? I know that Lexi Ryan is a master of sorts when it comes to writing books that will really attach themselves to your heart. There are many things about this book I loved and there were also things I hated. Love: William, Cally, Hanna, Lizzy, Max, Sam, Gabby, Maggie and Asher. Hate: Meredith and Brandon. In-between: Drew and their dad. These people are what made up Wish I May and they're the ones who gave the book life and its story. It's because Lexi Ryan was able to create such complex but realistic characters that really know how to get through your chest cavity and into your heart. Whether they be good or bad feelings, they're still welcome.

There was definitely a lot of feelings in regards to this book. There was anger, sadness, heartache and even happiness because no matter how dark times may be, there's always room for a little light. Everything was well-thought out and that made everything so well-executed in the end. Lexi Ryan will really get you to feel things, trust me. Like I said, I loved Wish I May and I can't wait to read the next New Hope book (Hanna's story)! Wish I May had just the perfect amount of angst, drama and romance to make it into a great book so kudos to Lexi Ryan!

To Cally, family is everything. She will lie, steal, and cheat for her two younger sisters. But when her mom passes away and she is forced to return to her home town, and to their spiritual and idealistic father, she comes face to face with one of the lies she regrets the most. William Bailey. They promised each other everything, but when her mother took her and her sisters away, she lost more then just the love of her life. Now she is back and Will wants what they had before. But Cally can't give him that. What they had is gone. Taken. Sold. Will won't give up though, not until he possesses every part of Cally, even her secrets.

Wish I May is the sequel to Unbreak Me, in Lexi Ryan's new adult romance series, New Hope. We first meet Will in Unbreak me. He comes across, or at least for me he did, as an indecisive man with a fickle heart. But in Wish I May, we come to find out that Will is just looking for the love he lost all those years ago and someone to start a family with. When Cally returns to town he thinks that this is finally his chance but what he doesn't know is that Cally is no longer the same girl he knew. She's broken. But Will doesn't care, he is done trying to fix people (Unbreak Me), he wants Cally just as she is and will get her, piece by piece.

If you have followed the series then you will see the growth of Will's character, even though Wish I May mainly follows Cally and her family. Told from both Will's and Cally's perspective with slices of the past sprinkled in you get a broader view of these two characters. Why they've done what they've done and do what they do. Cally's been to Hell and back and as a reader it is easy to empathize with her. And despite my initial feelings about Will, I couldn't help but love him. He is so sweet, and caring, and understanding. But don't mistake him for a push-over because he is anything but. Together these two take you on a journey of learning, heartbreak, forgiveness, and finding that little bit of magic in life that make you believe in Happily Ever Afters.

The story moved at a steady pace, with fantastic characters that easily tug on your heart strings in a believable plot that anyone you know could be living. Cally's secret's also kept me intrigued throughout the story. All that being said, I think Wish I May would make an okay stand-alone but you'll get a bigger picture of the characters and story if you read Unbreak Me first.

"I want you to always believe you deserve whatever you can wish for, Cally. As long as you'll let me, I'll make your wishes come true."

We begin as two high school kids are madly in love. William is the wealthy, popular boy and Cally is the girl from the poor family that no one thinks is good enough for him. But they are being ripped apart by circumstances. No amount of wishing is going to stop it. She is moving away with her mother and sisters ...they vow to stay in touch long distance....

Seven years later, we see where their lives have taken them. William has not been lucky in love. On top of losing Cally, he now has two failed engagements...to sisters, no less. He is still a good guy, but just keeps searching for the right woman. He is handsome, a successful business owner, and has good friends in New Hope. He is still right where she left him.

Cally's life took an even darker turn after moving to Vegas with her mother. Her mother was unreliable and a poor caregiver, leaving Cally to support her two younger sisters. And in order to do that, she had to resort to things that she was ashamed of. And therefore, had to let her love for Will go. But now she is back in New Hope, bringing her sisters home to their father. And of course, the first person she runs into is the one she is afraid to look in the eye....Will...

(Quote)I look up at the stars. When did I lose sight of mine? My father raised me to believe in magic, in wishes, in beautiful destiny. And then life went to shit and destiny played second fiddle to just getting by.

(Quote)I look up at the moon and stars we once wished on together. They make me feel lonelier than ever. Because she may no longer be the girl I once loved, but she's the woman I want.

Will has always been chasing the the elusive idea of family since he was raised by his grandmother. Cally is running from part of her past she is not proud of. But they still have a connection that is hard to deny.

"Forget about the past. Forget about the future. You're here now, and what's happening between us is inevitable. You're mine."

They have so many opposing forces against them. So many lies and omissions between them. So much guilt. So much pain. So much history. So much left unsaid. But also so much passion, need, and unresolved feelings. But when her past comes back for her, will it ruin her chances at starting over again in New Hope?

Cally was put in a horrible situation that she had no control of. She was then, and is now, just trying to do what she has to do to keep her loved ones safe, even though she sacrifices herself. My heart literally broke for Cally and all she suffered. And for Will too. Because he never really got over the loss of Cally. I really felt their longing, their need, their deep feelings, and connection. They really did seem like soul mates that were thrown terribly off course by circumstances. And they both suffered considerably. And every time it seemed like they might find a chance for happiness, something would happen to throw a roadblock in their path. It had me tense and anxious and just hoping that somehow they could find a way to make it all work out.

"I need you to believe again. I need you to be brave. You hold on to me, and I'll hold on to you."

We see characters that we met in UNBREAK ME. Maggie and Asher are in this book too so we get to catch up with them. Maggie's twin sisters Hanna and Lizzy are friends with Cally so they are a big part in this book. We meet Will's friends, Sam and Max. And I can already see more stories brewing with those characters. Cally's younger sisters Drew, an outspoken, semi spoiled fifteen year old and Gabby, a sweet, troubled ten year old really tugged at my heart. I could see Drew possibly getting a story of her own.

Lexi Ryan creates such flawed, emotional, beautiful characters. Their backgrounds have such depth and their experiences significantly affect them. And she does not pull any punches with the trauma the characters have dealt with. I thought Cally had such an inner strength about her. She was smart, determined, loving, and really wanted to make things better for herself and those she loved. Will was such a strong, caring man with a big capacity for forgiveness and love. And their chemistry and passion were seriously hot and intense.

I love most of the citizens in the town of New Hope (but of course there are a few you have to dislike) and how they stand behind each other in difficult times. It is such a tight knit community and even when they disagree, it is obvious they are doing it to protect those they care about it. But they are not afraid to admit when they are wrong either. This book was raw, heartbreaking, tense, sweet, suspenseful, and poignant. It makes you believe that there is a destiny and that soul mates do exist. And that no matter how off course or how broken people may be that they will find their way back to their true place in life.

**Provided an ARC for an honest review** - Review done by Red’s Book Blog

When we make decisions they set a chain reaction for our lives. Cally and Will know this better than anyone.

In Lexi Ryan’s “Wish I May”, Cally Fisher comes home with her two sisters after the death of her mother to help her wayward father take care of them before going back to Vegas. But when she left all those years ago, she left more than father. She left Will.

Oh, Will. Will, Will, Will. He is the knight in shining armor, the man on the white horse and is freakin' HOT! He has had his trouble with women, that is an understatement. Rich, handsome and wants to have a family. Every single woman’s dream.

"Because she may no longer be the girl I once loved, but she`s the woman I want."

I felt for Cally. Her personality shone through. She made me laugh and made me feel for her. I felt a lot for her before I was kicked in the stomach with what she went through while away from Will, trying to keep her sisters taken care of, and then I cried for her. She never felt like she was good enough for him and then her circumstances turn those feelings of inadequacies into a branding on her soul.

Will is a good guy with a dash of Alpha in him. Nice combination! HE can’t help but feel pulled to Cally, even though she is resisting every step of the way. I loved that he kept at her, kept pushing. It’s one of my favorite qualities in a male character.

I adored Cally but I found there were times when she was too down on herself. I can’t even imagine what she has been through and she has sacrificed more than anyone for her sisters but I felt a little frustrated with her actions. I think most of this was because I was so upset with why and how she felt about herself. I wanted to say “You deserve love, Cally!” But my kindle wasn’t listening.
If there were two people in this world that deserved a happy ending, it's Will and Cally. I cheered them on and gritted my teeth. All great reactions from me.

"I need you to believe again. I need you to be brave. You hold on to me, and I'll hold on to you."

When you realize that you are worth it, worth that love that is being offered, your world turns upside down. In a great way.

Let me start by saying….I loved this book! This book was off the charts in chemistry! Where does one sign up to “wish” for a William Bailey and how does one recover from letting him slip through their fingers. The story is told from both Cally and William’s point of view and flips between present day and their time apart.

Forced to return to the hometown she left 7 years ago, Cally stumbles upon her first love, William within minutes of returning. And there is no turning back. The connection still there and burning like a raging fire. Time has been good to William and Cally takes notice.

Arriving in New Hope on the heels of the loss of her mother, Cally has returned to get her sisters set up with her Dad and plans on making a quick exit back to Vegas. But things don’t always go as planned and Cally is forced to remain in town. William takes every opportunity to be close to Cally and remind her of what they were.

The connection of Cally and William was jumping off the page. The depth of their love was apparent even through time and distance. Was the answer to why she stood him up at prom an answer he really wanted to know? Could Cally share all of the darkness and what she had become with William and have the wish she always hoped for?

Forced to resort to any means necessary to protect her sisters Cally has had to endure a lot in the 7 years since she left. I could feel her heart being torn apart at what she had done to provide for her family and the fear that once William knew he would want nothing to do with her.

"I regret so much. I should have been with you and I shouldn't have...." ~ Cally

But William did not just sit by the past 7 years. He had failed relationships and was currently thwarting the advances of Meredith. Let’s just say I was not a fan of her from the word go. She was manipulative and down right rude. Meredith had tunnel vision when it came to William and was not going to just go away quietly.

“ I made so many damn mistakes when you were out of my life. When you left, I lost more than my girlfriend, I lost myself.” ~William

But it was like the stars were aligning for them. When Cally and her sisters are forced to make temporary living arrangements with William the story heats up. Holy hotness...the sexual tension between them pulsating of the page . I was hoping that they would find their way back to one another.

Just when it appeared that things were starting to work out for Cally and William, more turmoil ensues and secrets are revealed. Secrets that may just be their undoing. Can they let the past be the past and live for their future? Guess you are going to have to pick up this AMAZING story and see for yourself.

Once I started, I couldn't have put this book down if I had wanted to. And trust me, I did not want to. This book was pretty damn devastating, but also pretty damn amazing.

Cally just broke my heart. Her past is gradually revealed throughout the story and with every new detail, my heart bled a little bit more for her. She's so strong and tries so hard to move on from her painful past, and to do the best she can for her sisters.
I loved Will so much. He's had plenty of turbulence in his own romantic history, but he's never forgotten the girl who left him behind- Cally. I loved how he couldn't bring himself to hate Cally, even though he knew he probably should. He doesn't want to hold onto the pain from her leaving, but fights for their love.

This is the second book in the New Hope series, the first is Unbreak Me, which is Maggie and Asher's story. We meet Maggie and Asher in this book as well, but this definitely works perfectly well as a standalone. I can't wait to read Maggie's story as well now!

The writing just captivated me, and it was impossible to stop reading. I was pulled deep into Will and Cally's intense and passionate story. It made me crazy cry...the kind of crying where you're a bit bewildered by how much emotion you're feeling, and you can't stop the floods. Yeah, not a pretty sight.
I was constantly on edge waiting to see when Cally's past would catch up with her, and what exactly happened with her when she left New Hope.
It's also written in dual POV, which I really enjoyed. It was so great to be able to dive into both Cally and Will's mind.

Overall, I can't recommend this enough. I was really impressed by how much I enjoyed this romantic and bumpy journey, and how much I felt connected with the characters. It's the first book I've read by Lexi Ryan, and I can wholeheartedly say it won't be the last.

REVIEWED FOR: Sinfully Sexy Book Reviews

I'm such a fan of Lexi Ryan's writing, and Wish I May was another excellent book from this talented author!!

Unlike some, I really felt for William in Unbreak Me, and I was so excited to get his book. I was ready for him to have his happily-ever-after. He had already proven to me what a good, good guy he was, and Wish I May only reinforced that. However, I don't know that I was prepared for how sexy he turned out to be! Yum...Will is one super hot dude!! A guy who wants a serious relationship, eventually marriage and kids, plus he's a lusty hottie...um, what's not to like?!

Cally and Will were early high school sweethearts until her mother took Cally and her sisters and left for Las Vegas. Las Vegas was...not easy, to say the least. Eventually, Cally was left responsible for her younger sisters, and she was still a baby herself. Through a series of unfortunate events, Cally was able to financially support her sisters and herself. The cost to her? Emotional scars and memories which would likely be with her for the rest of her life. Her situation in Las Vegas changed drastically, and her only option was to return to New Hope and move her sisters in with their long-absent dad. A reunion with Will was unwanted, but also unavoidable.

Cally and Will had a number of emotional obstacles to overcome, mostly on Cally's part due to her past...which refused to stay in the past. For me, they were an easy couple to root for. I enjoyed the two of them together very much, and the slow reveal of Cally's past was interesting and terrible, at the same time, and kept me reading.

If you read Unbreak Me, you'll absolutely want to read Will's story! If you haven't yet started this series, do yourself a favor and read it now!! I can't wait for the next book in this series!

I adore this book and this series. It was everything I hoped it would be after reading UNBREAK ME.

William and Cally were childhood sweethearts until the moment that Cally's mother moves her away with her sisters for a `better life'. William makes her a promise that she'll always be his, this soon ends after Cally is forced into a situation that she promised herself that she would never get involved in. I admire Cally so much; she would do anything to make sure that her family has a roof over their heads, sacrificing herself for their wellbeing.

7 years later and Cally is walking back into Will's life after her mother has died. Those feelings they had all those years ago are still there when they see each other again. Though Cally has secrets that no one else knows and is dealing with being compared to her mother; who was not your average model citizen. When the one thing she's running from finds her in her hometown, her rekindled relationship with Will is put in jeopardy again as her secrets unravel in front of her eyes.

I love the transition between present day and flashbacks of Will and Cally's relationship 7 years prior. Will is definitely a gentleman and is book boyfriend worthy in my eyes!

This book could be read as a standalone but is best read after UNBREAK ME as it gives a better understanding to Will's life between the time Cally leaves, till the moment she comes back into town!

I absolutely love this book! After reading Unbreak Me I really didn't think I could love Will. But I learned so much about him in Wish I May that there is no way to not love him. I went into this expecting Will to be the wishy washy man who just doesn't want to be alone I knew him to be from Unbreak Me, but I was wrong, way wrong. Will is generous and thoughtful almost to a fault. He has a heart so big he cannot stand to watch someone suffer when he can help. He also had his heart irrevocably broken seven years ago.

Enter Cally. She broke my heart over and over again. Each time I thought I had come to terms with the horrors of her life new information came up that ripped me apart again. Cally's story had me in tears more than once. Her dedication to her family, especially her sisters, is amazing but the only choices life has given her are horrible. On the surface she is a far from respectable, but just looking right under the fine layer of dust that covers her you can clearly see she has a heart of pure gold.

The first moment Cally and Will come together in Wish I May it is obvious they have a significant history together. I enjoyed watching as Cally and Will try to navigate life while protecting what is left of their shattered hearts.

The first book Unbreak was great! I was very excited to hear that we would be getting more of Will and finding out what was going to happen with him. I felt bad for Will. Most of the time it is the guy who doesn't want commitment or is terrified of commitment but for Will that wasn't the case. But for Will it just couldn't seem to happen for him. He was loveable, sweet, hot, and just wanted to get married and have a family. With 2 failed engagements he felt like he was never going to find his happy ever after. Then one day out of no where his past hits him right in the face. Thinking he would never see his first love after 7 years all of his feeling rush back to him when he finds Cally lost in front of his home. The author did an amazing job with mixing the past with the present keeping her readers current on what had happened 7 years ago to make up WIll and Cally's story. This story was sweet, sad, and had you hoping things would just work out for Will because he was a great guy and you just want to see him happy!! I give this book 4 stars!

Lexi Ryan writes characters with such passion and heart -- every story of hers is a pleasure to read, and I find myself racing through them from the opening titles to the very last page! WISH I MAY is just as fabulous a novel as I've come to expect from this talented author, and Will and Cally's romance is both touching and very steamy... Don't miss this!

This was an emotionally packed read. I liked this book. Its not your typical coming of age romance /second chance at long lost love BS. It was a pleasant read without the usual young adult angst. It had some definite originality. Enjoyable read.

Absolutely amazing at times frustrating but completely worth it. I love all the characters I've met in New Hope except the ones were suppose to hate and look forward to getting more in depth with them in the future works of Lexi Ryan.

I started this last night at about midnight and stayed up reading until 2:30 when I finished it. What a beautiful romance.

I had wanted to read Unbreak Me first before this one but I ended up not having time. It worked out ok. Though this is part of a series, it is a stand alone. I didn't miss a huge cliff hanger ending or anything. After reading this one though, I do want to go back and read Unbreak Me because I have discovered that I love Lexi Ryan and because Maggie was a character that I really enjoyed in this book. I'd love to see how her romance had blossomed.

Back to Wish I May.

In this book we have broken, scarred Cally who has just lost her mother and had traveled to bring her two younger sisters to stay with her father. She has no intention on staying in New Hope and no plans on getting back together with William.

William has had some rough times in love. I read in another review of someone who did read Unbreak Me that William wasn't a character she liked from that book (a side character in that book) and she wasn't sure she wanted to read his story. She did though and completely fell in love with Will. It's things like that that make me want to go back and read the first one. I loved Will in this one and I liked to know more of his back story. We know he has had problems in love with Cally, Maggie, and then with Maggie's older sister, and now here is Cally standing before him again. He should hate her for the way she left him, but he can't. He loves Cally. Can he convince Cally that they are meant to be together, that her past doesn't matter? I'm not telling. :)

Loved this book.

Love Lexi Ryan. I added her to my favorite author list this morning and Wish I May just went on my Perfect Romance and Book Boyfriend shelves. I cannot wait to read the other book in this series and get my hands on her other releases.

I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is a touching story for the power of unconditional love and first love. Cally's character is of a strong female who will do what it takes to care for her family. Great story and beautifully written.

HOLY SMOKES LOVED IT... ***I was given an ARC from MDR in exchange for an honest review***

MY REVIEW:
Wish I May starts out with Cally Fisher returing to New Hope with her two younger sisters after their mom dies. Its been seven years since she left New Hope and her first love William behind.
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! The chemistry that William and Cally have OMG talk about HOT!!! I thought I might combust at times. Even after seven years apart these two still want and love each other. Can I just say how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE first love books. When Callie left William she broke his heart. Yet, he still loves her, still wants her.

”Look at you. You’re all grown up.” He grins, and my knees go a little weak. How could I have forgotten the effect this man’s smile has on my knees?
“I could say the same for you.” I bite my lip. Hopefully no drool has escaped.
That knee-killing grin grows wider. I’m toast."
"He lowers his head and glides his lips over my neck in a movement so sweet, so simple, my breath leaves me in a rush. “I’m supposed to be pissed at you,” he whispers. “You broke my heart.”
“Then why aren’t you?”
“When I saw you again, there was no room for my anger. I want you too much.”

I LOVED William in Unbreak me. My heart broke for him. I was hoping he would get a chance for his own HEA. William, he just wants a family, someone to share his life with. OH jeez how William makes me swoon with how much he loves Cally. He never got over her. William is willing to overlook her breaking his heart to keep her in his life. God, I LOVED this man.

"I want your heart. I have no interest in buying it or controlling it. I want you to give it to me freely. Because you already own mine. You always have. You always will.” --William

I liked how Lexi gave us both William and Cally's POV. It was nice to see their past together. How much these two LOVED each other. When Cally had to leave my heart broke for William. I mean after she left things between them were good, but then BAM, she was gone. I understand why Callie did what she did, but at times she pissed me off. At other times my heart broke for her. This poor girl had to grow up quick. Cally had to endure awful things. All for the sake of her sisters. Everything she did was for them. This girl totally selfless.
My heart broke while reading Wish I May. I cried, I laughed, I smiled and felt the love they had for each other. The love these two had for each other even after seven years WOW!!! Wish I May is a fantastic book, written by the FABULOUS Lexi Ryan. I just love her books more and more. I gave Wish I May 5 super shining stars. A MUST READ!!!
