To say , I have been anxiously awaiting to read Two Kingdoms would be an understatement! The first two books were outstanding and phenomenally written . I was so obsessed with it that even though I read it through my KU membership, I needed to have them in my permanent library, so I bought them. I also, read and re-read them few times so when finally after almost six months of waiting what we get it isn't at par with the previous books, you ask WTH happened?!

This book is nothing like the others two in many ways , beginning with the fact that nothing happens. It's slow-going , it's confusing and underwhelming. Where before the heroine was funny insane now she is just neurotic, boring and insane. Her inner monologue is non stop , rambling and distracting.

There's also tons of talk about purities and impurities balances; most of the time it doesn't make sense and it keeps contradicting every few pages.

Let's not call this book a RH because there wasn't any of it in this story. The few paragraphs that sex was mentioned were choppy , awkward and unaffecting.

I will read book 4 as I want closure to this story . And I hope, the author can bring back to it, the magic , spellbinding , engaging , stimulating and entertaining of the first two books.

Read through my KU membership .

I really like this series, but it just falls short of being great for me. That guys aren't super distinct and their personalities run together in my head. ALso, for as much as the characters talk about sex, there are very little steamy scenes.

I love this series!!!!!! I love CM Owens aka Kristy Cunning! I've been a huge fan of this series from book one. This book is hilarious, sexy, and makes you love the 'bad guys.' I haven't been able to put this book down until I was completely finished. But then I was still clicking next, I was so sad that it was done. I could read this story forever. As soon as I think the book is heading this way, bam! something unexpected happens. I truly enjoy every minute.

The characters are phenomenal. Paca is hilarious, I honestly want her as a best friend. Every character is amusing in some way, even the Devil himself. This series is one of my top favorite "I need to laugh" series. The men.... *sigh* are super hot! I can't wait to see them grow into their powers.

Sibling rivalry has never been more hilarious!

I can't wait for the next one! I'm going to re-read this book very soon!

Overall: 5/5!!

I loved reading the first two books in the series so obviously I couldn’t wait for this one to come out. The four horsemen are their usual psycho-selves and you wouldn’t expect anything else from guys that are evil, right? Wrong lol In this book they start battling their own soft spot for Paca. And when it comes to her; The Apocalypse (with capital T as she points out lol) goes through a bit of transformation. I think that’s what got people to react in not so nice ways when reviewing this specific book. She’s still funny but it definitely got me off guard with her confusion and emotions all over the place. It was almost like she was a different character. Also I felt like it was an unfinished story but looking closely it does say Dark Kingdom in the title so there should be another part to it maybe?! Patience people lol All in all I enjoyed it immensely and I’m looking forward to the next book.

Another reviewer called this a bridge book, and I totally second that. The writing was great, but in the rush to move the story the relationships suffered. Paca came to the conclusion that the guys rule the bond in the relationship, but she did nothing to even the balance or further their emotions. It feels like the guys could live without her, whereas she's always been willing to put it all on the line for them. The sex was meh, it seemed like it was put in as an afterthought after the story was written. And Jude seems almost entirely checked out of the relationship. The next book will have to be pretty phenomenal at bringing the relationship back in to focus since it's the conclusion, otherwise I'm going to be very disappointed in a series that started out solid.

OMG, Amazing. Not sure right now if this is better or equal to the first book, it's that good. The story just keeps you engaged. You learn so much more about what is going on but still keeps Paca's random musings which can be confusing... but somehow the story always makes since. Great banter and looks between them all. I'm already sad that the is only one book left... there needs to be an eternity more.

You also get to see a touch of soft between the guys and Paca. Only there is not enough Jude, hopefully more in the next book. Although a good balance between all the guys.

Great continuation of the story. A lot of questions are answered in this one! We finally find out how Paca dies and why. It seams that the guys are still fighting their relationship with her, but there is some growth there. It was nice to have a pov from one of the guys that gave a lot insight. I love these stories!

This series just keeps getting better! The plot flies along, making it impossible to put down. Even as you start to learn more and think you understand things, things continue to surprise me. I love the main character and her quirky point of view, always keeping things entertaining no matter the situation. I got a little confused with some of the balance stuff--it is a complex world-building happening here--but it is such a good book I hardly cared. Cannot wait for the last one!!!

sty Cunning is a freaking creative, comedic, romantic genius. I do not think I can ever get enough of Paca and her Horsemen. God... This series is at the very top of my list of favorites. The amazing humor, the FOUR delicious men, the world building.... I love it all so hard. Ugh. The scene with Gage.... So beautiful. And I loved getting Kai's POV at the end. I want more from them all. I hope Kristy goes back and does novellas from the guys' perspectives. I will buy them all

I read a whole lotta Kindle Unlimited books. Multiple in a day.

This series has been the stand out I have plowed through in the last year. I ignored all of my responsibilities today and reread the previous book and then clawed through this one in two hours. It's funny, irreverent and completely engaging. It isn't going to make you think about things but it is a wonderful distraction from the god-awful planet we live on.

Read if you love kinky sex and anti-heroes.

Ugh. All this book talks about is balance. Its wordy and repeats the same boring message over and over. The last book started to go downhill fast. This one just started at the bottom and stayed there. I'm here for a reverse harem with a story. Not a repetitive inner monolog of word vomit. So over it and this author.

I love this series. There have been times when reading where I scratch my head a bit, because I feel as though the plot jumps around, but all around I adore these books. I love our main character and her men- love that the author doesn’t force the relationship but rather makes them work for their feelings despite the history she’s developed in the backstory. Aside from the sometimes obnoxious inner monologue from Paca, these are great reads!!!!

I loved it! The entire series has been amazing and I can't wait for the 4th book. This series was my first venture into the RH world. I started it because I love the author and I have never been disappointed.

Great book, well written and so many lol moments. I can’t wait for the next book. I want to see the bond even stronger. It would also be good to see some written in the guys POV. Awesome book really.

Another perfect story to add to the series. Paca continues to make you laugh and strangle at the same time. Sexy psychos and all the drama being a hell spawn. Love this and can't wait till the next one.

This series is Dark, twisted, and so dang humorous. I felt a little wrong with how seriously I enjoyed the insane workings of the Mc's mind. The way her men just glare at her quirkiness, is the best thing I've read in awhile. It is a new and different edge than the other RH I've read recently. I recommend this series to all who have an open mind and a huge sense of humor.

That was a bit underwhelming.. which posses me off a little because I have been waiting for this book FOREVER! It read like a great adventure novel, but not a reverse-harem. Everything was focused on Paca and who she is and what she is, which I totally get but it's like the guys didn't even exist. They kept talking about how important the bond was but there was no bonding happening. Only at the very end of the book when one of them decides to let her know that he loves her do you feel like there's a real connection.
I'm bummed a little bit...the last two books i have LOVED the connection between Paca and the guys...i missed that in this book.
