I enjoyed this book. I liked the fact that David had some physical problems and was not "perfect" as so many male characters are. And while Melanie appeared outwardly confident she had deep insecurites that she hid from most people. I also thought the ending had a great twist!

I am actually still reading this book, it is taking me a long time to get through it as it is not suspenseful and at times it is like a cheap dime novel. I don't know if I will even finish it as it is so far fetched its ridiculous.

I really enjoyed this book. It was definitely different than the DD Warren and Quincy/Rainey series. Although it was a bit predictable I still really enjoyed the twists and turns. I think this book might be my favorite Lisa Gardner

From the first page I was captivated. The characters were interesting and relatable.
I couldn't put my Kindle down for very long as I kept wondering what would happen next.
There were so many scenarioes, it was hard to choose the one I wanted to be the culprit.

This book reads like something a very young teenager would be interested in. For instance phrases like "He picked me up in his big strong arms" @ad nauseam. Sorry, too childish for me. Life is not like this. Time to grow up.
