I personally liked the first two books, but something went wrong with this one. I don't know if they got someone to ghostwrite it or something, but it was like night and day compared to the other books in terms of style. Much of the attention to storytelling was lost in this book. The actual plot wasn't bad, but the way it was presented and described was horrible.

I think I'll have to agree that there was a lot of fluff in the book, and unlike the other books, the fluff wasn't well presented and fell flat. I don't always mind filler, but none of actually was engauge or really meant anything. Also is my gripe that the store itself didn't include this book in their unlimited program, meaning that the other two books were free to read but I had to pay to read this pile of garbage just so I knew how the saga ended. If I catch them doing that again I'll just cancel my membership and go back to using Scribb, or another E-book service.

I realized early on that a draft rather than final copy had been published by the store. I also realize that they're working on correcting the problem. So, I'll actually review rather than troll...
NOTE: HAS BEEN UPDATED

In general, this was a fitting conclusion to the trilogy. In specific, the book was somewhat unbalanced, with the first half too slow with too much "repetitive, recurring, re-iterative" self-contemplation. The second half of the book could have used more development, especially the closing few chapters, which were thin on information, thought processes, and action details. A bit longer ending would also have been nice - some idea of Ros's direction in life, and perhaps additional gaming rewards.

It was also obvious early on that the author was setting up the conclusion - the characters and the conditions. The RPG flavor of the book was lost somewhat to the "drama". The final action sequences went well but, as mentioned, could have used a bit more "meat".

Hopefully the author/editor/translator will republish a final version quickly - I'd like to re-read in its final state.
Another few copy edit and proofing passes wouldn't hurt - lots wrong, missing, and extra words, and missing or extra letters.
I also noted a paragraph or two that was either mid-placed or unsupported - it made no sense as it was...

Ok, So he accidentally published the wrong file for this book, and thank you for that note author, but for the people who bought it before the update the book will still have that raw file. Apparently the author has to ask kindle to push the update to pre-bought books instead of us just re-downloading the book. I hope you read this author because I do love this series and I want to read the polished story.

The POV jumped around too much and made it confusing. Even then the loose strings were tied up fairly well. Seemed a little rushed at the end and skipped a lot of the game details.

*Spoiler alter!*

What happened between levels 62 and 130?
What skills was he putting points in?
Is there a final character sheet that compiles his bonuses, skills and stats?

This book was not good. It feels like the author phoned it in. What made the first two books great isn’t here. Instead, there is a lot of 'fill'. Boring philosophical musings that don’t move the story in any direction. Second, the character growth that was so central in the first two books, just isn’t here. Instead, the newb becomes a one trick pony. The fighting scenes are repetitive! Even the character admits he’s going through the same old motions. The exact fighting sequence over and over. The author practically cuts and pastes each fight! That’s just unimaginative lazy. It’s also insulting to the Buyer who paid $6 to read the main character is himself bored going through the motions. Further, the author NEVER conveys that the main character is in any true danger. Sure, he has a killer looking IRL for his body, but the author never conveys any real danger to the character either in IRL or in the game. And, early on, the AIs are given away as making sure the character succeeds. The main Character's development occurs through lazy writing. Such as hiring mercenaries for 10 days to protect him and his party while they power level from 64 to 130. And the writer has the characters tell us they are bored with their repetitive fights that are grinds that lack danger or interest from the characters POV. The author should read all three books and plainly see this is not only a bomb, but he cheated his readers by not putting the effort and creativity he put in the first two books! Shame on you. ADVICE - I CALLED the store AND GOT A FULL REFUND! The author needs to re-write this entire book and re-release a finished product worthy of the first two novels. Look, I apologize to the author for such strong comments, because the author did a great job on his first two books. But the author did such a great job on books 1 and 2, that expectations for this book were high and the author had to know when reading his book 3, he just didn’t put the same effort in. He had to know.

Like most of the reviewers, I enjoyed the first two novels in the series. Unlike many of them, I enjoyed the third and final novel as well. I did not buy the book when it was released due to the poor reviews, but I noticed it was now available on Kindle Unlimited and decided to read it myself since it didn't cost me anything I wasn't already paying. I'm glad I did.

Stone managed to resolve all of the convoluted elements of his ambitious plot with a satisfying finale. The book is not perfect - it could have used more proofing - there are some basic errors (such as word omissions) and translation errors (such as using "as" when he should have used "like") - but it is still better than many of the self-published books in the litRPG genre. Stone also follows the paranoid Russian trope that parts of the US government are the evil masterminds striving to be world dictators. However, even with these issues, I enjoyed the book and found it much better than the reviews of others had lead me to believe.

The protagonist continues to act honorably and outwits his opponents with help from his friends. While parts of the ending were obvious, it still was enjoyable and a logical end to the novel. Don't let the naysayers convince you not to read the book - read it for yourself and make your own decision. For my part, I enjoyed it.

I greatly enjoyed the first book, also enjoyed the second book and the characters being developed. The third book was actually bad, not just mediocre, and I mean no personal insult to the author by this. I felt it was thrown together, and very lazy and borderline nonsensical, almost nothing about the way the story played out in the third book made any logical sense. I really don't want to put in any spoilers, so i'll just say the Arthur has real talent as was evident in the first two books, but this one missed the mark, and tainted this series. Truly it's nonsense and lazy, and I think the author made a mistake in not recalling this book, and rewriting it with a little effort. It seems he wanted to be done with this series and had contempt for his own creation.

The begining of this trilogy was wonderful. Safely this last installment was horrendous. The shear amount of grammatical errors would be enough to put any English teacher into a coma. This book was not once proof read before being published. There are author notes left in the book. Saddly this book wasnt worth the money or the time to read.

Pretty low quality translation. A lot of Russian speech patterns bleeding through, homophobic character that doesn't really advance the plot at all, and most importantly way too many transitions on point of view. I gather he was trying to tell the whole story. This one is a slog though.

Following the series has been fun, and the characters have grown and the story has expanded nicely. This last installment is a great cap to the series, and (eventually) explains the end plot. Good stuff.

The plot of this book was very good. However, there are, even with the edited version, a large number of typos and grammatical errors.
The only bad thing I can say of the plot is that the ending was far too rushed. The way it ended made complete sense, but still it should have taken more than ~3% of the book.

Such a disappointment compared to the other books. Feels like a different author wrote it. It kept jumping around so much to filler and then to poorly explained that I started skipping the IRL parts. To bad honestly.

I enjoyed the first two books immensely. I was worried about the bad reviews of this one. I finally decided to read it. I must regretfully agree with the reviews. This was a poor 3rd book. It seemed like he couldn’t think of enough ideas to write a full book and filled it with way too much fluff. I forced myself to finish it but I am sorely disappointed.

This book was great. Following in the footsteps of the previous two. It finished the storyline, but ended on a cliffhanger with no obvious continuation shown. Worth the read but disappointing nonetheless.
