Jamie McGuire is my favorite author, and this book is just a reflection of how great she is! I am also a fan of Teresa Mummert, so I am glad that they collaborated on this project.I could not put this book down. Although the ending left me wanting more, it was a great read!

Overall, this book is excellent. It's a refreshing twist on a modern day love story. It's a true page-turner. The ending shows that the roller-coaster was worth the read. Jamie McGuire has done a wonderful job once again.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, it would just be wrong to summarize this story. Never have I read a story before that leaves me speechless for writing this review. I went in thinking that one of three things was sure to happen by the end, but I am so happy I was wrong, very creative plot....BUT...this can't be the end of Josh and Avery's story, I swear I'll have to throw my kindle in the fireplace if we don't get more and soon! The entire book was great, but wait until you get to the 80% marker and prepare for your jaw to drop. The only reason this is 4.5 and not 5 fabulous stars for me is because a lot of the scene/chapter transitions were abrupt and confusing, so much so that there were a few times that I panicked, thinking I got a faulty download on my kindle and I found myself having to go back and read a couple pages over to make sure I didn't miss a page, or if one scene really moved on to the next as abruptly as it did. This was distracting because in every other respect, this story demands the reader to move forward, read on, not look back. Do not pass this one by, and please, please, please tell me there's more to come with this story!

I'm wrecked.
It's beautiful and devastating at the same time.
Reading is my stress reliever, my therapy. When reality gets too much, my love of reading transports me into another life to get lost in for a few minutes, hours, or day. I gotta tell you, I was not expecting this! I can't move.
I NEED therapy. Even saying that sentence pains me, and takes me back to the part "i need to see you tomorrow." And Josh's own therapy sessions. I need a whole junkyard to get through this. And Josh what happens when you become really attached to that car, how I'm really attached to you? I don't want a new project car. I loved this car so much, what do I do now? I'm ruined!
I can't even decide how I feel. I knew when it was happy at 50% I got nervous. Ugh, then BAM. My world flipped. I feel like I was tossed and turned. Who's side am I on? Where am I? What is reality?!?
The ending. I love it. I hate it. I'm confused. I'm laughing. I'm crying. Again, I am confused. Its now been over 12 hours since I read the book and I still cannot decide how I feel.
I decide to make it believable as the happily ever after I want...
Then I read the title over and lose it all again.
Thanks for the beautiful wreckage of my heart.
But, seriously. Where is the support group for this?!?

Think you've read Jamie McGuire? Well she and Teresa Mummert just flipped the game on you in this brilliantly twisted story of a lost and found kind of love. I guarantee Sweet Nothing is unlike anything you've ever read before.
Josh is your typical one night stand hustler until by the fates Avery Jacobs agrees to go out with him. Avery knows the kind of guy she's up against, but falls for him anyways. Can she trust him? Can Josh be the kind of man Avery needs?
Five very enthusiastic stars!

This book could easily deserve a 5 star rating had the ending not sucked, BIG TIME! Please tell me there will be a sequel to this confusing ending, and what led up to it. You are both amazing writers, but here you've left your readers hanging.

Both authors can write really well. I've read both of their books and have become quite a fan of both of them. I was hesitant to get this book due to the confusion at the ending but decided to go ahead and give it a shot.
The story reads like a romance novel--similar to Beautiful Disaster but not near as good---up until the ending. It takes until about 80% to get to the 'action' portion of the story or where things kind of fall apart....or come together.
Josh Avery is a paramedic. Saving lives is what he does. He's also been dubbed as McPanties--a bad boy with a terrible rep. Even so, he has a thing for Avery Jacobs, a nurse who gives him an attitude and refuses to get anywhere close to him. She knows his reputation and she doesn't want to be on his list.
But, a car crash changes everything and before they can prevent it, both Josh and Avery become entwined within each other--so absorbed in the other it was like they were meant to be after all. Even, Deb who is Avery's friend, makes a joke that if they ever got married Avery's name would become Avery Avery.
The story was okay for a love story--if more action were covered in their fields (Josh as a paramedic and Avery as a nurse) this would've been more than awesome. Yes, I'm a big Grey's Anatomy fan.
The ending---I think if the ending would've came a little sooner where you start to question what's really going on--it would've made it better. A total mind **** is what it would have been and it would've went on longer than what it did.
**SPOILERS**
I'm giving it all away----so, unless you want the entire thing ruined for you, read no further.
The thing is, we find out the original car crash put Avery and Josh in a coma and nothing throughout the entire book is real except everything before the accident and after Avery wakes up. Then, for a bit you are left wondering who's really in a coma--Avery or Josh? Because, when Avery wakes up Josh is still in his coma and his father is considering pulling the plug but she is so convinced they were married. On Josh's end, Avery had just gotten in a bad accident where she fell into a coma...so who is in a coma?
This could've been so much greater than it was. Excellent idea but not so great execution. But, now I want Josh and Avery's REAL love story.

I was completely blown away by the complexity of this book! I have all the admiration for the authors to have put together such an intricate story and do it well! Not only that, but to create such a great romance and characters you fall hard for!

I absolutely LOVED this book! Jamie and Teresa write an amazing story about Joah and Avery and their love for one another..... But it's not always what it appears. And when I say my jaw dropped I am not lying. I strongly suggest this book to anyone!!!!

What an amazing story! Even if I knew that something happened I enjoyed each page!! I think I break a record in reading when I was breathing in last few chapters. I'm just glad that McPanties can fix all! He's my new hero.

This book was something else! The twist was something unexpected and refreshing! Instead of the typical happy ending, you get a happy ending of a different sort which I loved! Very creative idea and premise for a story and the characters were wonderful!

I love Jamie McGuire; however, this book was so disappointing. The romance was great at first, but then it became really boring. Still, I trusted the authors. I kept reading the book until the big twist occurred. I though "Great! Now we are getting somewhere". Then it ended without any questions being answered. And not in a mysterious good artistic way. I feel betrayed. Seriously! I think fans of this genre enjoy happy endings. This book left me confused and very frustrated. Too much of a build up at the end to leave your readers hanging. Not nice :(

Sweet Nothing is beautiful, heart-stopping and overall a masterpiece. The emotions, confusion and just overall the dynamics will leave your breathless until the very end. But is that really the end or just the beginning?
There are a lot of unanswered questions, but I think that’s what kept me reading. I wanted…no, NEEDED, to know what happened. I felt drawn in and during certain parts of the story I thought I had it figured out...until I realized I wasn’t even close. The dynamics and complexity of the story not only captivated me, but made me hunger for more. More of the writing, the characters. Just more.
I look forward to what these collaborated authors have in store for us in the following months.

The love story was dragging itself and when something cool finally happens we are left with an end that makes no sense. Now, maybe I missed something, after all English is my second language but I don't think I did. I would have rated it 1 star but it did keep me entertained on a 12 hours flight. So 2 stars it Is.

When I initially read the teaser for this book, I thought "Eh, give it a try." I wasn't over the moon about it, nor was I anxiously awaiting my auto delivery.
I read it.
It was certainly unique.
I was confused, so I re-read a few chapters.
Like many others, I had my "WTH?!?" moment when I got to the end.
All in all, not for me. This was the first piece I've read by Teresa Mummert, so I have nothing to compare it to. On the other hand, I've been reading Jamie McGuire's work for years. Frankly, I think she's done a lot better.

Jamie Mcguire does it again! Of course with help from Teresa Mummert. This story was amazing and I loved the characters. I don't want to say too much and give away the story. It's a definite must read! I would love a follow up book or novella to hear what happens to these characters!
